   This was the second time in a week we had been as the first time was really enjoyable. Staff are lovely, service efficient and food was great. Last night was a totally different experience. Staff were friendly but after we had ordered, only 3 of our 4 meals arrived after 50 minutes. The chips on every plate was really cold. The fourth meal they had totally forgotten, til they realised and finally brought it out after an hour and a quarter. Everyone else had finished eating. Will not be coming back

   Lovely establishment, food was nice and well priced. Only thing is the anticipated wait times for meals on the App. We almost left as the anticipated wait time was hour and a half. Luckily we asked a member of staff who said it shouldn’t take that long! The meals actually arrived quite quickly

   Really enjoyed our dinner. We were going to a show at the star, so didn’t have a lot of time. Meals came out quickly and we’re delicious. When arriving a staff member showed us to our table and mentioned how we could order either by the app or at the bar. We will be returning.

   We booked a table, arrived, ordered our drinks which took 10 minutes or so and we were just going to order the food BUT the estimated time was 90 minutes! Which is ridiculous! So we drank up and got a takeaway down the road and went home! The Lucky Squire needs to decide whether it is going to be a pub or an eatery as it clearly cannot do both! What a shame as we have eaten there before and the food was scrumptious!

   We arrived at our booking time & was shown to our table. We downloaded the menu on our phone to find out many meals were off the menu & it would be a 90 minute wait for food, we ordered our meals off the reduced menu sat & waited table next to us who arrived 30 minutes after us received their meals before us. We asked the waitress & she spat back that it was a 90 minute wait didn’t take the time to hear what we were saying. It also would’ve been nice if we were told prior to sitting down that the kitchen was running behind. Will never dine here again!

   The food and service was absolutely amazing! The arancini was to die for - superb! Wasn’t so keen on the smoky mushrooms in the halloumi burger but the woodsmoke pizzas are amazing as is the huge chicken schnitzel and crunchy but fluffy fish and chips!

    Atmosphere and overall energy was beautiful for a Saturday night. My only bad note was the food, I ordered the pizza and it was just too thin for my liking. Kept falling apart :( but the service was absolutely lovely! Would recommend the restaurant, just not the pizza!

    Our 2 rump steaks were ordered as medium, one with red wine jus and one with bearnaise sauce. They were very delayed arriving to our table- our friends had eaten and finished their dinner. Then our steaks arrived medium rare and both with red wine jus- not what we ordered. We didn't send back. It was too late to do anything about. Then the rump steak had a lovely grilled flavour but was full of fat and gristle. Sadly little meat to enjoy. Saw no staff at all while we were there. Plates not cleared away etc. We didn't enjoy our experience at The Lucky Squire at all.

    Had to order at the table on them tablets didn’t like that no contact with staff , one of the staff was rude when we asked if could have a menu to look at and said no u order on line and do you have a problem with that ? No mate all good , food was ordinary I had ribs they were quiet dry and partner had shanks which was in soup mainly and the garlic cheese bread was so strong we are still burping it up , only good thing meals were out quick

    Not a good experience. Had a family dinner (5 of us) there on Wed, 29/12/2012. It was busy, nice atmosphere. The self-ordering system was great! The drink was good come on time; however it took more than an hour for the food to come; and they were not good - the three steak were way over cooked compared to what we ordered; the chicken were burnt, the salads looked sad, not much in it…Very disappointed overall.

    Fresh and delicious food. Steak cooked to perfection and melted in the mouth. Schnitzel was juicy and tasty. Salads were crisp and refreshing. Great range of beers on tap

    Had a lovely bday dinner for six, the food is always so delicious, staff are friendly and efficient, and we love the atmosphere. The only tiny recommendation would be the live music was a bit loud for us to have a comfortable conversation. But the singer and music were excellent!

    We went to The Lucky Squire for a family get-together. There was 6 of us and we had the excellent set menu. Don't be tempted to order anything extra as you won't be able to eat it. The servings are very generous and difinitely not a degusation of tid-bits. The service was good, but a few times our we had to remind our waitress that we had been waiting over 10 minutes for our drinks orders. When they arrived the beers were superb and great to taste the beers made on site.

    Food was really delicious - we had the set menu and the amount of food was just right. We found that the sequence of delivery wasnt right for us - with the heaviest coming out last when we would have preferred it earlier. The service was poor. We werent asked if we wanted another drink during the 2 hours we were there and our first drinks didnt come together (the beer came last!) A little disappointing, but it was over a good night with good friends, and good food.

    We enjoyed the energy of Lucky Squire although the person on the door was overly pedantic about signing the Covid register but once complete was helpful. The staff were all polite but some inefficient and when we went to pay we had been overcharged almost $100. It was quickly and politely resolved. All up a good night but would probably not go back in a hurry.

    We chose The Lucky Squire from other nearby options for our special dinner. Aside from a wonderful & iconic venue with nice ambience, the service was terrible. After we ordered from the menu, we elected to keep the menu in order to consider dessert after our shared plates. With our dinner finished, half of our plates were collected, leaving the other half in front of us for over 15 minutes. We found this extremely frustrating as the restaurant was not busy at the time. In fact, our waitress decided to clean every other table surrounding us but not to attend to us. We were never approached/asked about dessert, which was the final straw, so we decided to leave. Ironically the bill was already printed out and ready! We chose another restaurant nearby for dessert & coffee.

    Share platter style dining. Great service and food was bang on! The outdoor area was a bit rowdy, being a Saturday night though, this can be expected. For a quieter, more intimate experience, go another night, but regardless, i would definitely return to this establishment!
