About The Lucky Monk
When you name your restaurant after Trappist monks who've spent centuries perfecting their craft, you're serious about your beer. That's why we hired a master to craft our house brews and why our beer list spans the globe. With everything from refreshing pilsners that match the lightness of our thin-crust pizza to dark, rich ales that stand up to our decadent burgers, you're certain to find a new favorite at The Lucky Monk. We're sure that our Prime beef burgers — served with hand-cut fries — will be the juiciest you've ever had. Our other house specialty is pizza. It is crisp and generously topped with fresh ingredients. And we round out our menu with vibrant, flavorful salads; a handful of classic, satisfying American entrées; and some sweet surprises.
Whether you're settling in at our bar or relaxing with your friends and family in our comfortable dining room, our delicious food, drink and warm welcome are sure to elevate your soul.

The Lucky Monk Ratings and Reviews
We have been to the Lucky Monk many times and always have a great experience. We usually tend to go there for burgers, but we've had lots of other things on the menu, and all are great! The burgers are really top-notch, and the beer selection is great. Highly recommended!
As usual another exceptional experience at the Monk, from the great drinks, to our wonderful server Connor, amazing salads, burgers etc. , to the delicious desserts. The only issue we had was the fries weren't hot, so Conner brought us some fresh ones. This place is always consistent that's why we always come back.
Very good burger options. Menu is not expansive, and is very casual (burgers, pizza, salads, etc.). Good ambiance - especially as compared to other restaurants in the area. You can bring little kids if you come early. The kids meals are very good, with some more interesting options. Free cookie/milk dessert for them, too.
Our family recently went to Lucky Monks to celebrate a couple of birthdays. We made reservations and set up in the back room. Which was fine as many other tables were celebrating birthdays too. A lot of happy birthday singing throughout the evening which was fun! The food and staff were great. It got pretty loud in this back room at times as this room is wide open. They need to put something on the walls to absorb some of the sound. The appetizers are good but pricey.
Each time I frequent this restaurant they make me box my own leftovers. Last time I had a bowl of chili and they had me try to put it in a container. This time it was a pizza. The table is full of plates etc and you are asking the consumer to box up the leftovers. This is not a very logical business practice for a non-fast food environment. Just a suggestion.
Casual lively a little loud but not overwhelmingly so. Menu could use some updating but my burger (BBQ with crispy onions) was very good as always. My friend ordered mini fish tacos - 5 were included and it was enough with the rice and accompaniments. She enjoyed them. Our server was fairly attentive and timely in bringing our meals. It's a great place to go after a movie at AMC next door.
Second time here. First time there I ordered the Monk Burger well done and it was really good an juicy.
This second time there, today, I ordered the Monk Burger again well done, only this time a double Burger, and I was surprised because it was EXTREMELY DRY. It was DEFINITELY over cooked, or over held, one of the driest burgers I have ever had.
My wife and I were with my 5-year old daughter, she was tired and irritable, so I didn’t want to send it back, and then have to wait, so I ate as much as I could before the dryness was too much. The edges of the Burger were actually burnt.
Had it just been my wife and I -no daughter -I would have sent it back.
Too bad ...the first time there was really nice
The service was horrible. We sat with no silverware after we had already gotten our food. The server dropped the appetizer plate on the table, spilt one of the guests beer and didn't even offer to replace the beer. I was with another couple and the server took there appetizer order but we were never asking if we wanted one, she just walked away. Then when it came to ordering she took everyone's order except for my boyfriends, he literally just had to tell her and then repeat himself after because she didn't hear the first time. Was never asked if anyone wanted another drink. She was MIA the majority of the time. It was my first time there and from that experience I will not be returning. Taylor either was having a bad day or serving just isn't for her!
When my wife and I first visited, we loved the place. Each consecutive time we have gone back, the experience has been worse and worse. Most recently, seated at a table near the back, where it was drafty. Medium burger was very nearly well done. The lettuce and tomatoes tasted like week old produce.
The waitress was nice though.
This was our second time co I got here. We came back because we had great service and food. The hamburgers are the bomb! We also liked the pulled pork and pizza. Dan (the man ) was our waiter and was on top everything and very nice! Was a great first time experience for my daughter., who didn’t get to go the first time. Definitely will keep coming back.
