Staff was wonderful and the food was amazing. Will definitely be dinning there again.
Very nice atmosphere. Food was very good. Brunch was a bit expensive over $100 for 2 people.
Have a beautiful adventure love the restaurant love the food love my server we will definitely be back
Very underrated place! Love it every time, among my favorites in
Sat inside. Plexiglass and many COVID safety precautions taken. Food was still excellent as always and the service was phenomenal.
We dined at The Love the other night and both had fabulous and fresh, seasonal meals . I had the salmon and my husband had the fried chicken. We sat outside next to the window and had the benefit of a heater above us, which was perfect. Our server was outstanding and attentive. I would highly recommend
Very clean and lovely place. The social distancing here is wonderful, Plexiglas at every booth. Tables spread out. Definitely make a reservation to come here, books fast. The food was all so delicious. We ordered:
Cast-Iron Baked Parker House Rolls which were so good
Honey Brined Pork Chop, husband loved this.
Pulled Brisket Fazzoletti, this was yummy just wished it had more brisket, but its still good!
Potato Frites, delicious with their remoulade, the potato wedges were thicker than I liked but it was a fabulous side.
Raspberry nut crunch bars, SO yum!!!
Our waitress Megan was amazing. Food was incredible as always and our safety was a priority
Delicious and fresh, very accommodating and attendant waitstaff. Would come back for a very high dining experience at a great price
We went to The Love for brunch. The service was excellent. We were able to have outdoor seating and the heat lamps kept us comfortable on a chilly fall day. The food was amazing! We were also given complimentary glasses of champagne to celebrate (it was our post wedding brunch as a couple). We highly recommend!
Was my go-to in pre-pandemic days. Nice to find it unchanged.
I have fined at The Love before but this was my wife’s first time. We both loved it no pun intended! Great job adapting to COVID-19!
Anniversary. Wonderful evening. Food, wine and atmosphere.
Great food and service!
I had the chicken and waffle for brunch and the Waffle was mushy and didn’t like the flavors, would have preferred syrup. Chicken was cooked well but bland and had no taste- I added salt and didn’t help much. With tip I paid 40 for a cup of coffee snd 1 piece of fried chicken.
The service was very good and the food was overall great except the chicken dish - chicken was a little dry. Had a great selection of wine and beer. Salad was an excellent choice.
It was my first time here and it was a date. The first thing I noticed was the scenery. It was quiet and lovely. The food was amazing. My date as well loved her experience.
Server was very accommodating. Food was perfect. Restrooms needed attention. Also had to wait in line for restrooms both times.
Dined outside which was nice but pork chop was dry and hazelnuts overpowered both the ravioli and brownie.
Also putting a brownie in the middle of a skillet doesn’t exactly make it a skillet dessert....
Was really excited to try The Love.I have been supporting Stephen Starr restaurants since the 90's. Food was excellent but the service was inattentive and we were not seated until 20 minutes past our reservation time.
We LOVE The Love! Always and forever, they have taken such good care of us. You see, leading with love is how we live and to find a restaurant that not only reflects our outlook and expectations on quality but our concern and welfare towards our fellow human? The Love is a place that has captured our hearts and not just our tummies. Thank you to The Love for having us again and again. Until the next time. Xoxo
Had the fried chicken and it was delicious! The brownie dessert was amazing. We brought my 3 yr old and everyone was so kind and thoughtful of her.
Dinner was perfect! We loved their seasonal menu and each item was better than the next 😊
The food was better than expected. Hands down my favorite for the night was the Spaghetti and Lobster. It's a starter but I wouldn't mind getting two and eating it as an entree. It's very flavorful and really rich but my mouth was super happy and pleased. My meal was the pulled brisket with the handmade pasta fazzoleti. It was good as well. The dish was like stroganoff with broccoli. Leona was our server she provides seamless comfort and knows how to serve and keep your glasses full. I'm actually going back today for brunch. 😁
It was a great experience. Our server was friendly and provided great service. We felt safe eating there as we were far away from other customers.
We loved The Love before the pandemic and we were not disappointed! The food is just as fantastic , the service just as excellent, and the environment just as beautiful. We were so glad to be back.
Food was beautifully presented, but would rate at 5/10 however the portion size per price was not well matched. We had the scallops as an appetizer and they were ok but very very tiny. The braised pasta dish I got was very good but also very tiny for a 28 dollar entrée. If portion size was increased slightly, it would be a more viable option. Drinks were also very good aside from the food. Service was amazing, very attentive, and very safe as Covid is always a concern.
Service was fantastic, and food was very good. Pricey but, as a Stephen Starr restaurant, reliably very good.
It was a wonderful dinner experience to celebrate our anniversary!
We have have dined at Love several times.Sunday night was not good. The food was average .The crabcake was NOT good. The chicken was dry and not interesting. We will come back ,but wait a while.
Service and ambiance were outstanding. Drinks done well.
Food when arrived seemed like it sat in the window for a little longer than it should have. Still outstanding taste profiles.
My favorite restaurant. I have been there to celebrate a Father's Day brunch, birthday brunch, New Year's Eve dinner and a Friday night dinner with guests visiting the city. The vibe is fun and food never disappoints. For brunch, highly recommend the Cinnabon scones and shrimp & grits.
The table on the corner is above the sewage drain and the odors are unbearable. I like this restaurant and had great time in the past. Better not to use that corner next to sewage. Thanks
Had brunch here, great way to start our Saturday. Service was excellent.
Ambience and service was top notch. Great date night spot. Food was awesome but not epic; not every dish was an absolute hit (not bad just not notable). Would go back after Covid
The food was amazing, the service was amazing, the ambiance was beautiful, and if you noticed the hint of music then you know the playlist attributed to the vibes. Our server Megan was the best, very attentive, patient, and personable. Everyone at the table loved their food as we all got something different —not one complaint. A sampler dessert was even brought the table on the house. Also, the ginger miso collard greens are a must!
Typically, Love is one of our favorite restaurants. Unfortunately, the experience was not the same this time around. Service was below expectations. Food seemed to be slightly off. The broth in the salmon dish had an unpleasant bitter taste. That being said, the salmon was cooked perfectly. Salad was good, but did not compare to the Caesar salad preciously on the menu. Scallop
Crudo had a strong “fishy” taste. Brisket/handkerchief pasta was good, but a majority of the brisket was extremely fatty. We missed some of the original standout dishes from previous visits...scallops, halibut and other fish, Caesar salad, etc. Drinks were great as usual.
Due to COVID, we understand everyone is facing challenges. We will try the Love again soon in hope that it maintains its exceptional standard from the past.
They were very nice and the food was excellent! Thank you
I have eaten at the LOVE several times and thought the food was great! So many layers of flavors! However, my friend and I were extremely disappointed in the fall menu food. The crab cakes for full of filling and no chunks of crab and while the appetizers were good, the portions were overpriced.
