   Their turkey cheese melt with aioli is terrific Service is considerate, polite and friendly. Amazing! This is my third visit in 6 weeks for lunch. Will try dinner sometime soon

   Came here for brunch with a friend on a Sunday morning--the seating for two was perfect but the noise level was high and had trouble hearing my friend a few times. Service was fine and the food/drinks were delicious especially the rhubarb scones (the black truffle scrambled eggs were good but the potatoes it came with were too dry/chewy). Would come here again but will order another entree next time.

    Menu was excellent - a creative (but not overwhelming) assortment of unique/innovative dishes. We started with the black truffle risotto with lemon artichoke hearts (a must have in our view), shishito peppers (“fried” is potentially misleading - they were some of the best shishitos I’ve had), and the cucumber feta salad (excellent, but a bit rich for our taste. More cucumber would have been welcome; we left a pile of feta in the dish). We ordered two sides as starters, given the starters were quite large, and frankly, the sides were a better value. The service was excellent and incredibly accommodative: my date had the salmon, which was cooked to perfection, but wanted more greens/veggies in lieu of the farrow, and I had the pork chop (also cooked to perfection and bursting with flavor) but preferred potatoes to the accompanying red onion rings. Our server suggested the substitutions without hesitation and even brought a side of collard greens (free of charge) when my date thought she might have liked even more greens on the side - they weren’t our favorite, but an appreciated gesture. Skillet cookie with ice cream for dessert… incredibly decadent and SO delicious. Will absolutely be back the next time I’m in Philly. Need to try the short rib rigatoni!

    The fried chicken was over cooked and very hard. It would have been better if they used panko breadcrumbs instead of regular breadcrumbs. The branzino was tasty. The parker house rolls were just average. I was surprised there was no steak option. This is not one of Starr’s better restaurants.

    I went for a girls night with my 3yo. First time at Love so you never know but they were amazing and welcoming! The food was great, our waitress was great, and (I think) the front house manager came by and said hi. Very good, will go back next time I’m in Philly

    One of the busiest weekends with Mother’s Day and graduation weekend but the service was still great. My mom had a great time and complimented the waiter and manager for their attentiveness. Thanks for a good experience during brunch.

    We really enjoyed our brunch at The Love! We came in for my daughter’s birthday and Mother’s Day. Monica and the rest of the staff were amazing and really made my daughter feel special. The food was fantastic! We’ll definitely be back if we’re in the area again!

    The Love was extremely delicious, and the menu had so many good options it was hard to decide what to get. We ended up getting the shrimp and grits, and the posh breakfast, and biscuits. All of them were amazing but the shrimp and grits were phenomenal. Also our server was kind enough to recommend a delicious vanilla latter and gave us free dessert bites which were delectable.

    Great restaurant for creative tasty mostly American type food. The service is outstanding. Clearly the staff are trained to focus on the customer. Nice ambiance but a bit noisy on a busy Friday evening which is understandable. Our second time and one again it was a great experience.

    From the cool bar near the main entrance to the customized desert at the end. Great flavors, generous portions, (asked for my shrimp/scallops to be seared..and they were) our waiter was Noah and he was attentive but didn’t insert himself into the experience.
