Aimee Olexy and Stephen Starr's The Love is a bi-level sanctuary features 150 seats, split between the main dining room, sidewalk seating, and an upper-level loft. The restaurant is a spirited and carefree neighborhood café celebrating everyday American cuisine. The menu is crafted around what’s truly seasonal and local, while the beverage program reflects the best of the region.     We had a great experience as our waiter, Ken, as well as the manager and the other staff, buzzed around the table taking our drink and food orders, endlessly filling our waters (we were quite parched) and being super knowledgeable and patient with our many questions while trying to kindly accommodate both Gluten Free and Starch Free option requests. We got so many appetizers, so many entrees, and sop many drinks (Both alcoholic and non alcoholic) and even had room left to partake in the great desserts and coffee/espresso/latte choices (Caffeinated and Decaf!). Overall a 10 out of 10, great offerings paired with greater service!

    Service was terrific, we ordered four of the starters/small bites to share between the two of us. It was all delicious and more than we could eat, made for a great lunch the next day.

    That was the best meal we’ve had in a long time! The service was on point, and the entire establishment was well staffed at every level. The menu was a delicious combination of familiar and unique flavors. The vibe was joyful but not so loud that you couldn’t talk. Loved the decor and style too. Well done all around!

    We were seated immediately for our reservation. Our server was very helpful and made sure everything was okay and that we had a great time. This was our first time visiting and we did not know the portions was so large. Next visit we will not eat or snack before going for a meal.

    We had a brunch there on Sunday. Great, cozy restaurant with good vibes. Food was amazing and the service was outstanding. would love to try the place for dinner in the near future.

    The overall experience was great. The food was wonderful and would definitely come back again. I had the Shrimp and Grits, as soon as I got home I was on the internet looking for a recipe to come close to my experience there at The Love. Thank you Love keep doing what you're doing.

    Service was exceptional from the hostesses to our waitress. Our waitress was knowledgeable and helpful and attentive. The food was exceptional. I had the ravioli and it was great. My wife had the scalloped and shrimp spaghetti also very good . Would recommend this place all day every day. In fact my birthday is in July and I will probably be heading back there for dinner. Great experience.

    This was my first time dining at The Love. The food was excellent, especially the beet salad. The service was the best part, everyone was warm and friendly. They were so polite and checked on us consistently. Would definitely go back and highly recommend.

    We were seated upstairs and it was quieter and very pleasant. John was an excellent and attentive server. The food was delicious. We shared the fried green tomatoes and they were delicious. Two of us had the Posh Breakfast and it was very good. My husband loved the lemon poppy pancakes. A very enjoyable and delicious experience. I can’t wait to return.
