Wonderful as always and the service from Husain was fantastic he’s the best
Crab cakes were excellent. Salad was huge, but good. Fillet was cooked to my specifications, but was on the small size. Service was great.
This was our first and last time at this restaurant. From the moment we walked into the casino we were disappointed. It took 5 minutes before we could find a host even though we had an 8:00 reservation. Once seated it took more than 10 minutes before someone stopped at our table, even though three different servers past by our table and no one said anything. Once we finally had a server stop we ordered our meal and drinks. We were nearly done with dinner before the drinks even came. No one stopped to refill our water, and of course we did not have drinks yet with our dinner. Once we finally got our bill it took much to long for the server to come back to the table. Of the 20 or so tables in the area we were eating, only three tables had anyone at them when we sat down. The meal itself was mediocre at best. The filet was cooked properly but it was not nearly as tender as it should have been. Overall, we were both very disappointed.
Very nice restaurant. The steaks were cooked to perfection. The service is what you would expect for the price...outstanding. My only complaint was that there were only a few side items available with the entree. Other items could not be substituted not even for a surcharge. You had to pay full price for a baked sweet potato instead of a normal baked potato. I asked the server to double check with the manager and no changes were accommodated. I find this unbelievable, but overall, the place was good.
Overpriced, same money and you get Hyde Park…
This place has really gone down hill. Service is so slow. Food was almost burnt. Had all kinds of issues and the manger never once came out to talk with us.
Food was good but they put this green garlic sauce under the fillet mignon which ruined my steak because I don’t like garlic. On the menu never started that what so ever. Had I know I would put better review. I do miss the old final cut.
Early birthday dinner, it was fantastic! Good good and great service! Eric, our server was wonderful!
First time having dinner at The Final Cut was delicious. From the appetizers to the steaks to the cocktails nothing disappointed!
Our Birthday dinner date was great! The atmosphere was relaxing, the food was delicious and the Chocolate Cake was out of this world!!!
Ribeye was burnt and had no flavor. I have had better tasting hamburgers! Baked potato was warm barely melted the butter. No worth the price. Suggested they find a new supplier. With their limited hours I would bet everything is frozen too long
Ordered a salad, dry with oil and vinegar on the side. They brought out a salad with oil and vinegar on the side, but the salad itself was drenched with Vinaigrette. I had to send it back. My wife ordered the Filet, medium rare, it came out VERY rare. I ordered the New York Strip, medium, and it came out medium rare. Not ones to complain, and wary of what would happen if we sent them back to the kitchen (especially after I sent the salad back), we just ate them as is. My baked potato was lukewarm, the butter would hardly melt on it. When the Manager asked how our dinners were, we just said fine. My wife said her side vegetables were very good. Our server, Eric, was excellent. I highly doubt that I will go back.
Never been there and the restaurant is beautiful. May old classic photos of celebrities and so nice and relaxing. But the food was not that wonderful. My carrots were room temp and my husband filet was small for the price. We noticed the couples beside us and their filets were nice and thick but my husband got like the end small
The mashed potatoes were wonderful and the salmon was good just needed more flavor
I also tried to upload the pic of the filet and it said something is going wrong
Our server was really slow, we waited almost 20 minutes for our drinks, then another 15 minutes jur to take our order. Really the food was excellent but the service was horrible and slow. There really was not alot of guests in the place either, so it was just that this place and staff was slow.
Not to mention, that after our dinner was consumed and we finished our drinks it was yet another 20 minutes to get our check and once we gave him our CC it was at least to minutes to get our card back so we could go to our show.
Service was poor. Lobster was so salty I couldn’t eat it. Filet Mignon tasted like a very cheap cut of smear. $ 155 for two and food was awful.
About time you got back to the traditional menu...
It's expensive but really good food and more than enough to get you full.
The danishes served at the beginning of the meal were delicious. Unfortunately brunch was not. My husband ordered the cinnamon roll stack, which was completely raw in the middle. I ordered the Crab Benedict. The crab was not lump crab as described, it was actually a crab cake that was mostly filling, and the English muffin it was served over was severely burnt.
We have dined at the Final Cut in Lawrenceburg and always enjoyed our meals. The Columbus Final Cut was a disappointment. Why have ten sides when only a select few are included with the meal. (white potato versus sweet potato) I am not a fan of gourmet coffee. I had throat cancer and require a lot of fluids. The price of $5 per cup is excessive (no free refills). I have never heard of this at any restaurant.
I have a My Heros card and I don't believe they gave me a discount. The filets were very good but I don't plan on dining there again.
I've eaten there many times and always enjoyed the experience. Great food great service great environment how can you beat that?
We had a wonderful experience and the food was wonderful!
Staff was friendly, efficient. Food was excellent. Definitely would go again. Ask to be seated in Samatha’s (Sam) area…great server!
Mike, our waiter, was great. Food very good. There were 4 in our party. Had cheese board, crab cake, salads, French onion soup, salmon, filet, rib eye and a lobster tail. We shared cheesecake and chocolate cake for dessert. Will definitely go again.
Shortened menu. Missing some of the best items from the past.
Unfortunately my New York strip was full of gristle and was medium rare. Requested medium. Mashed potatoes were too salty to eat. Everything else was very good. Have been eating at Final Cut since 2012 and first time I should have sent my steak back to the kitchen. Didn’t want to embarrass my guest.
Always have great food and great service! Will recommend!
Mara was fabulous as always. She was the Only server in bar and was hustling.
Amazing food, service and atmosphere!
Baked potato was not cooked, It took a long time to get soup and salad food was medium warm not hot at all
Went here after eating at Toledo location prior. Columbus has a more limited menu and the food was not great for the price. Had better steaks at chain restaurants. Baked macaroni had too much garlic. Wait staff was pleasant and nice ambiance but for the money I was disappointed.
Awesome! No other way to describe it. The waiter was friendly and informative and the meal was exceptional.
The Creme brûlée cheese cake — Oh My!!!!
My husband and I took his mother to brunch on Sunday. I was pleasantly surprised to see Danishes brought to the table in place of normal bread. Although they were definitely the same ones you buy in bulk at Costco and just heated to make them seem fresh baked. The menu was limited. My mother in law and myself ordered the French toast. It had a good flavor but we could both only eat about half because it was too sweet with the fruit compote and the lemon sauce. My husband had the steak and eggs with potatoes which he said were good, but not quite worth the price. I was shocked to see that my mother in laws cup of coffee, which is usually one of the cheapest things at a restaurant, was $5! Our overall bill was $75 for some pretty basic food. I may try this restaurant again for dinner but will not come back for brunch.
Food was amazing
Reservation was confusing
Made and received confirmation
Had email and front desk was still confused
Great service! The menu is limited now, but the food was good overall.
We had various steaks as well as seafood and pasta. Everything we ordered was absolutely delicious and the service was stellar. Would definitely recommend!
I know that it is a sign of the times but the entire meal including the appetizers and entree's were brought out together. AND EVERYTHING WAS COLD.
Steaks, potatoes, lobster.... ALL Cold....
Expensive steak house without a wine list? This is your place! Located in the middle of Hollywood Casino, which for some reason was built in one of the most depressing areas of Central OH. The restaurant has the ambience of a hospital cafeteria.
Servers were good. Nice people. Felt bad for them as they obviously had very little to work with. Food was okay.
Food was cold, service was average. The manager that brought out our food had her phone stuck down her shirt.
The food was excellent, wine was very good too. The server was excellent and very knowelegable. It was a wonderful anniversary.
This was our second visit. Final Cut is above and beyond in every aspect. Yes, prices are higher than your average place but well worth every penny considering everything you get; ambiance, an exquisite and magnificent meal and impeccable - seemingly personalized - service! Thank you for making our special occasion grand!
