I chose 1 Star because a star rating needed to be selected in order to give feedback. I had a reservation through Open Table, but when I arrived the restaurant was closed “due to technical difficulties.” I should have been notified by Lotus restaurant or by Open Table.

Went to the location on Grant Street. Had the chicken Imperial which I was told would be a good lemongrass meal. It was basically chicken and onions, like all onions. Vegetable egg rolls were mediocre. Not impressed with the food on this visit.

To start, the restaurant was out of White Wine???? Our appetizer came with our meal, they were understaffed, it took forever, the order was wrong. All that being said, the food was good, and they bent over backwards to apologize, and didn't charge us for some of the food. They tried, if you ask if I'll go again, no. I go out for a relaxing time, not for all the hassles, regardless of what it costs.

The server was not the best. We had to flag her down and initiate service. She was not busy yet rarely was around and did not check in on us, it seemed like she really didn’t want to be there.

The tea was cold and we had to ask for a hot one which took a long time to come. Some of the food was good. My dish was kind of dry.

The Lotus has been around for a long time and still serves up outstanding food. We traveled back to MN for a wedding after having lived here for over 10 years. We made this a destination. Still liked the old location best but this one has plenty of room. Food was just as excellent.

Birthday party for 18 yr old with friends and family. Our waiter, Forrest, was awesome. Adult beverages were creative and delicious. Wide range of meals ordered and all were great.
