Drinks were great, but we left because we need snacks with alcohol. They need something to eat if people are drinking.
I had my hopes up with this place. I went into it thinking the environment would be more intimate, especially with the option to place a reservation. Turns out it is just another bar with very minimal thematic ambiance and really un-enthusiatic (and under informed) bartenders. The place was standing room only and was louder than most nightclubs anywhere. We couldn't find anyone to help with the reservation and there's absolutely no reason they should even be taking them.
Not worth it. Just a typical bar with a tiki theme. Nothing special about it. Drinks were all that outstanding either.
Loved this place!
Very good drinks. Incredibly friendly staff. Highly recommend
Fantastic lil place with cocktails that will blow your mind. They look girlie foo foo but man they are delicious! Nolan, our Bartender/Entertainment for the evening was truly a badass. His drinks were tendered and garnished with the utmost skill and his knowledge of the booze and ingredients were spot on. (I bartended for 15yrs). Also his knowledge of the establishment was excellent. Fantastic lil place, lighting and ambiance were on point, and Nolan was a stellar addition to the evening. Thanks Again Nolan!
This place has awesome tiki drinks and a super fun atmosphere...new favorite bar for sure!
The drinks were great and the staff was amazing. Cool tiki bar environment!
Great place for our daughters 21st birthday. Great instagram photo ops!
only had drinks but they were wonderful.
knowledgable and friendly staff
The zombie drink had absinthe and cinammon in it, tasting overly sweet without the classic fresh fruit juice/flavor that the drink typically has. It was a huge drink at $16, but I couldnt finish it because it was not easy to drink. The ambiance is essentially a club with some tiki motifs. Around 8pm on a Saturday night, as people began to fill the place, the music turned from island vibe to club-y. I guess overall, the place cant decide who to appeal to: club crowds or people who love tiki drinks.
We were hoping for a full Tiki Bar immersion experience. It was clear the the owners set up a cheap bar without putting much thought into decor. The floor and walls were concrete and stone and the noise level was uncomfortable. The music was Justin Beiber and the like instead of tropical or exotica. It's not a real Tiki Bar that's for sure.
There needs to be more of a tiki vibe in the decor. Bring in lush greenery you soften the hard concrete everywhere! Drinks were strong and tasty enough, but there are better tiki drinks at non tiki bars in town. Drinks were only$5 on opening night, but would have been a bit disappointed if I had paid $16! Mainly would not return because of the vibe/decor. It should take you away from everything, not make you feel like you're in a cafeteria. Also the website makes it seem like you are experts and connoisseurs of rum, but a lot of the menu wasn't even rum based, nor did I see a list of the rums available. Seems like just jumping on a trend and doing it subpar
I went on opening night. The drinks were fun and the staff were so friendly and fast. They dont serve food as of yet but hope to offer something in the future. The ambiance is a little too dark but overall I liked it!
Great cocktail list! The drinks are pretty strong without being over the top. Tropical drinks without being too sweet. The presentation is amazing - I love the drink ware. Definitely recommend for a fun cocktail night or a nicer place to start off down town. Must have the vicious virgin drink!
