Perfect evening at a perfect place.
This was simply put... Amazing. We went on our wedding day and Ashley and Lisa couldn't have been more kind, knowledgeable, and accommodating. The fire pit is ambiance unparalleled. The food - try the duck and the pork chop - was exquisite. Thank you!
I love The Lost Fox. It quite honestly has some of the best food in the area, and I'll go back again and again!
Went out with my sister and friend for my birthday and we had a great time! Definitely recommend for a fun girls night :)
Excellent service, very good food. There was a DJ too for those who want to dance
Had such a pleasant experience at The Lost Fox. The atmosphere felt modern but also cozy. The food was superb. And the service was very good. New favorite date night spot.
Couldn’t have picked a better spot. Delectable food, drinks and superb service! 1st time here and we will definitely be returning!
Super cute find in One Loudoun. Lively bar area up from, but really nice, intimate dining space in back. Nice little fireplace and very nice seasonal cocktail list to choose from. Food was solid - we had the deviled eggs, a burger, and crab roll.
Love this place! The energy is always super fun and the FOODD omg the food is outstanding!! Our go to place
Nice restaurant. Open Table advertising for the restaurant was out of date, which caused us to re-think what we would eat. Restaurant has a door on the first floor, which is rather hidden but the restaurant is actually on the 2nd Floor. There is an elevator. Food was good, but servings were not overly large. Service was exceptional.
Took my husband (and his mom) here for his birthday. We each ordered a salad and shared some small plates. The crab dip and pork belly were especially notable, but everything was fantastic. We sat on the restaurant side and enjoyed the fireplace and the cozy Christmas decor. Will definitely be back!
The inside was way too loud and very dark. The outside seating was great
Found a new jewel and beside great food and service the ambiance is perfect! We will be back again. Additionally, found they have a separate cigar bar as well.
The food and service is amazing at The Lost Fox. We happen to go on a night where they had live music right behind where we were sitting. It was loud but we were able to carry on our conversations.
I get like the food was over priced for what you get. We ordered a bunch of small plates and nothing blew us away - similar quality as run of the mill chain restaurants with a larger price tag. The servers were very nice and on top things and the ambiance was nice as well.
celebrated a friend's birthday at the Lost Fox Hideaway ... thoroughly enjoyed the experience!
Good cocktails and brunch food. The Burger was apparently delicious as was the WTF Waffle and my citrus shrimp and grits was fantastic! I look forward to returning here for brunch and other meals again.
Great place for brunch and celebrating a friend’s birthday. Service was awesome and food was tasty. Holiday decor was nice but the DJ and music next door was a bit too loud to have a conversation without talking loudly.
The food was amazing! Everything we had was so good and arrived super fast!
The Crab dip, scallops, and pork belly were delicious and savory!
Terrible ambiance, slow service, cigar smoke, never again.
Jenna - waitress was amazing
Matt-manager checked on us and gave us a history of the location.
Look forward to come back and enjoy the music.
Went for anniversary and had Sunday Brunch. Loved the decor and atmosphere, real wood burning fireplace, outdoor heated sections, etc. Super friendly staff served fresh brunch fare, with small and large plates. Menu options for all tastes. Food was excellent. Highly recommend.
I took my wife here for a birthday dinner, our first time, having read about it in a “best restaurants in Northern Virginia” article. It sounded classy and romantic, promising excellent food. We were intrigued by the almost clandestine entrance on the ground level with stairs (or elevator) leading to the actual restaurant. We were impressed by the elegant “hunt club” decor, but noticed right away the “energetic” noise level. When we were shown to our indoor table, (much of the seating is on an open balcony which is enclosed with plastic for the seasonal weather,) we had mixed feelings. The room has a large, cozy fireplace, with a tv screen above it showing a sporting event. We wondered if the owners were going for a upscale dining experience or an upscale sports bar. With the tv, loud music, and a menu mostly populated with appetizers, we leaned toward the latter. We chose to make our meal out of small plates, selecting a shredded brussel sprout salad, deviled eggs, scallops, crab dip, grilled carrots, and gnocchi. The last two were our favorites. Everything was good, although we weren’t bowled over by the crab dip. We also tried a few specialty cocktails, which were creative with top-notch ingredients. By far the outstanding part of our evening was the service! Our server’s name shows up on the check printout as David S, but I seem to recall them introducing themself as something else. They were warm, friendly, helpful and most accommodating. Big points for offering us a free dessert since I mentioned we were celebrating my wife’s birthday! A manager introduced himself and was equally friendly and welcoming. In the end, we enjoyed our evening, but really found it difficult to call this an excellent restaurant, because the food wasn’t quite good enough to rise above the pretentious sports bar ambiance.
Our party of four had a great time. Impeccable service from Hunter, our server, and the rest of the staff. Awesome food -- every dish that came out was perfectly prepared and presented. Very nice selection of wines, cocktails, and beers. Atmosphere on the second floor in front of the fireplace was just perfect for our double-date night. We will DEFINITELY be coming back to this little gem.
Pleasantly surprised. Beautiful surroundings and very good menu items. Not the usual burger and fries. I highly recommend this restaurant.
A very pleasant dining experience. Styling in the dining room is cozy and inviting. Perfect temperature on the ribeye. Plates are both well thought out and well-executed. We particularly enjoyed the baby carrots with pistachio pesto. Creative cocktail menu and bar stock. Dining room is a bit loud when the bar is full, but still a wonderful night out. We'll be back.
Service was slow and confusion checking in trying to put us into a smoking outdoor section, thinking we had only reserved a table earlier in the day when reservation was made two weeks prior. A bit pricey for food.
As soon as you walk in, the environment and ambiance is so cozy and inviting. There was music playing but it wasn’t drowning out the conversation. Our server was Matt Labelle and he was great- you can tell he’s passionate about the restaurant and made sure we had a great time. Food was amazing. Would absolutely recommend!
It’s okay I don’t know what else to say. Go there to drink not eat
Amazing food and wine and the service was impeccable (thanks Jeffrey!).
Food very good but portion size disappointing for some items. For price charcuterie board barely had enough cheese and meat to share at table. The salmon tasted great but the piece of fish was tiny, was hungry after dinner.
Great ambiance, wonderful outdoor spaces, fantastic menu, delicious food, great cocktail and bar selections. A first rate restaurant.
Hidden gem, warm wood dining area with fire place, interesting menu (we did bunch of small plates) and outstanding service. Bit noisy and hard to find (sign is a stylized small red fox)
Definitely coming back.
Our first time here was great! The atmosphere, customer service, and food were amazing! My wife and I are coming back very soon!
The rave reviews and the difficulty in getting a Saturday raised expectations. The Lost Fox didn't meet them. Skimpy portions for a big price. Had four big plates. The best was the grilled salmon. The crab roll not only didn't taste wonderful it might have been more appropriate to list the roll first as it was mostly bread. Little crab. But for only $30 who can complain. The server was good. This rating is for the food and the cramped loud ambiance of our booth.
We moved to One Loudoun in the beginning of September and have been meaning to try this place. Wishing we would have done it sooner! We ate in the inside dining room area and it is extremely cozy. The food is awesome and we never made it past the Small Plates portion of the menu! Everything we tried was very elevated! Our waiter, Matthew was super inviting and knowledgeable about the menu and the restaurant. The management is all over the place and engaged with the customers, which is probably why it is an enjoyable experience. Huge shoutout to the bartender Cynthia, she and her bar back were a ton of fun! Can't wait to get back and experience more of the menu, Big Plates style!
This was a very disappointing visit being that it was our first one and a birthday. We had 4 different severs spread out and no one made us feel very welcomed until the check came. I am so sad that I took my husband here for his birthday......We had to go up and ask for the check since that took awhile to get.
Overall nice ambiance. Decent prices. Some food items better than others (burger was great!). Cocktails were not as well done.
Had the best time at TLF. They took such great care of us as we celebrated our wedding anniversary. Food was awesome, service was excellent and atmosphere was great.
