   The view is certainly the reason for us choosing this restaurant. Filet mignon was tender although the red wine sauce was too salty. Snapper was great but also very salty. It was a special occasion so all in all good. Electricity went out which they were not prepared for. Customers had to leave.

   Magnifique endroit avec une vue unique sur El Coco particulièrement au couché du soleil. Repas succulent, steak et burger. Belle ambiance. La route pour si rendre est en pente très raide. Un incontournable à El Coco.

   Service was slow, took half hour to get our drink. Salad was un tossed with large pieces of lettuce that we had to cut in pieces to eat. A spoonful of dressing. 3 fish tacos were the size of an appetizer and the pieces of fish were minuscule. Waiter & waitress did not clear our dishes and were more interested in serving larger tables. Used to be our favourite restaurant but we won’t be returning

   The ambience in the restaurant was very upbeat. The waiters were very friendly and attentive. The food was good. They accommodated my husband who is a vegan. That was much appreciated.

   Very special place. Hard to find at the top of a winding road amidst condos. Watch for the signs written on the building walls Food was wonderful Passion Fruit Margaritas excellent Moderate prices Bring your camera

   Great ambience. Sitting high up and overlooking Coco Beach bay with the sun going down over the hills. We had a few drinks, appetizers and main course and cheesecake cup for desert. My wife had the special of the day, red snapper. It was a great portion and well done. Very tasty. I had the ribeye steak and again it was done perfectly and very tasty. We loved the whole experience.

   Had a fantastic evening at the Lookout. The view was amazing, the food excellent and the service exceptional. Our party of 6 started with cocktails. The mango margarita, passion fruit and jalapeño margarita and the unnamed mint cucumber vodka cocktail were great. For appetizers we had firecracker shrimp and avocado bites. Both were delicious. Tried the fried oysters with a soy sauce. Even those that don’t care for oysters loved them. For the main course I had a Thai salad and my husband the blackened chicken sandwich. We would order both of them again. There were a couple of disappointments. One woman in our group loved the firecracker shrimp so much she ordered it for her dinner only to find out they did not have any more shrimp. They also did not have any white wine that night. Overall we had a wonderful evening and would definitely go back.

   We had high hopes about this restaurant after we heard a couple of things about it. Let’s just say it did not live up to the hype. We were greeted at this “ romantic “ spot by blasting country music which was awful. It took about 20 mins to get a drink and then a further hour to get our apps ( shrimp cocktail and a salad ). The waiter seemed hugely occupied with a table of 8, maybe he thought he would make more money from them? Anyway, the food was terrible, the service was terrible and the whole experience was terrible. We actually left before we got our entrees because we had waited so long again with no sign of food. Do yourself a favor and don’t waste your time, effort and money. If you are in that area, head to Ginger in Playa Hermosa and have a yourself the best dinner of your life.
