The Lookout Restaurant at Gray Monk Estate Winery offers seasonal, farm-to-table creations by Chef Chris Jealouse. Enjoy panoramic views of Lake Okanagan while savoring the pairings of fresh local ingredients and Gray Monk's award winning wine selection.

Unfortunately we had another a disappointing dinner at the Lookout. The food was boring- (salad with prawns and chicken schnitzel), though the view was stunning. The Bees knees cocktail was good. And the service was very slow due to only one server for the entire restaurant. She did her best.

The view is amazing but I found the ambience was missing something but can't put my finger on it. The menu options were okay.

From the moment we arrived at The Lookout at Gray Monk, we were treated to a truly exceptional experience. The food was absolutely outstanding — each dish was beautifully presented and bursting with fresh, locally inspired flavors. Whether it was the perfectly cooked seafood or the seasonal vegetables, everything was crafted with care and creativity. Of course, being at Gray Monk, we couldn’t resist sampling a few wines, and they did not disappoint. Every glass was a perfect pairing, and the staff was incredibly knowledgeable, offering helpful suggestions that elevated our meal even further. The Pinot Gris and the Odyssey Rosé were personal favorites — crisp, aromatic, and ideal for a warm afternoon on the patio. What truly set this visit apart, though, was the exceptional service. The team was warm, attentive, and genuinely passionate about creating a memorable experience. We never felt rushed, and every interaction felt sincere. The view over the vineyard and Okanagan Lake was the cherry on top — absolutely stunning. Whether you’re a local or just passing through, The Lookout at Gray Monk is a must-visit. I can’t wait to return!

Not as good as it has been in the past. Average food. Not top notch service. The view is still good. Patio chairs are not comfortable.

It is rare to find excellent food at standard prices, and with a great view as a bonus. Highly recommended.

The Lookout Trio tasting was not a good experience for us. We were to understand that we would go through a 30 minute tasting and pairing experience. Our waitress sat us at a table, bought us three wines to taste and three small parings. This was what we expected. She told us the names of the wines and the three pairings. THAT WAS IT. we paid $30 each for that. There was no follow-up or any more information offered. We were led to believe that it would be a personal experience but it turned out to be totally impersonal. Only good thing was the view.

We wanted a beautiful location to finish off our vacation to Kelowna and The Lookout did not disappoint! The views are spectacular but the service, quality of the food and value make this a must stop location. We will definitely be back! Thank you!

The service was really off. No wine menu given with the food menu - had to ask for it. Ordered a sparkling rose - ten minutes later they came back and said it wasn’t cold. So we ordered something else. Drinks arrived and then they pretty much forgot about us - had to flag someone down so we could order. Salad was pretty much tasteless. The pesto linguine was good. Definitely not the Gray Monk’s it use to be. We won’t be back. The view is fabulous.
