Welcome to The Lookout at Hope Lake, your premier destination for breathtaking views & exceptional dining experiences. We regret to inform you that we have decided to discontinue our once-a-month Sunday Brunch. However, we are pleased to offer you several fantastic dining options right here on the same property.

Trax Pub & Grill
Located conveniently on-site, Trax Pub & Grill is available for brunch every Sunday from 10am - 1pm until the middle of October. While Trax does not take reservations, we encourage parties of 10-20 to call ahead & give us a heads up. For parties of 20 or more, please contact our catering department at 844-290-4300 to reserve. For more information or to notify us of your visit, you can reach Trax Pub & Grill at 607-662-3039.

Carvers Steakhouse
For another delightful breakfast option, Carvers offers breakfast Thursday - Monday mornings, 8am to 11am. No reservations are required for parties less than 20.

We had a 1:30 reservation and there was no food left over. What was left out was cold and terrible

We recently celebrated Mother's Day with a delightful brunch at The Lookout at Hope Lake. From the moment we arrived, the breathtaking views set the tone for a special day. The decor, layout, and attention to detail were exquisite, and our hostess's warm hospitality made every member of our party feel valued, especially the mothers. The bar service was top-notch, with our drinks expertly crafted and presented by a professional and experienced bartender. The food offerings were equally impressive, with exceptional quality, presentation, and variety. Kudos to the chef for delivering an outstanding spread on Mother's Day! What truly stood out, however, was the exceptional service. Our party of nine, hailing from cities like Boston, Philadelphia, and Miami, where high standards are the norm, was thoroughly impressed. The staff's attention to detail and dedication to providing an exceptional experience were unparalleled. I would hire every single member of the team working that day in a heartbeat. Kudos to the manager for leading such an outstanding team! Five stars isn't enough – I'd give it ten stars if I could! Thank you, The Lookout at Hope Lake, for an unforgettable Mother's Day celebration.

It was a beautiful venue!! Our table was open when we arrived and it wasn’t packed so that was super nice. Some of the food was at room temp (salmon, chicken, sausage, flatbreads) so if that’s something of concern for you, I’d suggest waiting for fresh to come out or arriving at the start. There was a decent selection of food and the pasta sauces were delicious!

Open Table system not helpful. Had incorrect time and was missing parking information. The Lookout is pleasant enough but very very echo-y.

I was pleasantly surprised. My first time there and it more than met my expectations. Staff was super! Food was great. You will see us back there. Happy Holidays.

I made reservations for 3 of us. Conf. #'s 260 & 261. Unfortunately, due to a WINTER WEATHER WARNING, we were unable to attend. I have reached out to Jen at the Lookout at Hope Lake, only to have my emails and phone calls IGNORED. I know about the not refund policy. But I didn't realize that meant the same for BAD WEATHER! I spent almost $150.00 for the 3 reservations, and I would like the money back, but if not, how about a credit for another time? I was under the impression that you had to make and pay for your reservations in advance. If that wasn't the case, they should have advertised that better. At this point, I feel that they only care about the money (they keep) than the lives of those who spent the money at their establishment. I will NEVER suggest this to anyone I know. And I will be sure to tell them about the "radio silence" I have received since! Stupid me, for wanting to do something nice for my 81 year old mother! NEVER AGAIN!

Overall the place is spectacular! Absolutely scenic outside and elegant inside . The service was excellent! The food was very very good. I was very pleased with all the labeled gluten-free options. . Family friendly. We will definitely book this again for a holiday or special event ! At first, when we saw the line was waiting outside to be seated, we were slightly concerned in the chili air. But it moved very quickly, and was well worth the line.

This was for an Easter buffet. Trips up to buffet line had 2 bins empty (salmon and the pancakes), prime rib slices we very, very thin, salad was a spinach salad ..would have preferred buffet salad or a spring mix salad, there was no crepe table or antipasto on table like past years and dessert table was not many nice desserts..more donuts, puddings, cookies and candy. Service was excellent for drinks and additional items for table. We were at a table of 10 people and service was excellent and the setting and decorations were very pretty. We thought the price at $52, although it did include tips, was a little high for this buffet menu.
