   We've just had a Roast Lunch here. If you're looking for a meal that'll leave you wanting to strip off to your Pants and take a nap on the cool paving slabs outside, go here...and the Cauli Cheese is quite frankly wizardry. I don't even know how you get that much cheese in a sauce?! If you've allowed enough room for a Dessert, then hats off to you, and good luck.

   Warm welcome. All the staff were professional and friendly. The food was fantastic. Would highly recommend and will definitely be going back.

   We booked our table on line and went for the early evening menu set meal . Outstanding value and really delicious food. Got to the theatre in time for the show with table at 5.30 Squid , steak and Tiramisu - yummy ! Staff friendly and attentive Thank you .

   Pleasant venue, decor and tables inviting. Was quite a noisy restaurant but tables spaced out with plenty of room around. Booked table for 6.30 so was fairly quiet to start but filled out as evening went on. Background music not too loud but our table was directly under speaker so a little harder to hear conversation. Lighting bright to start but dimmed later on in evening and was better. Excellent waiting staff very informative about food and accommodating to special dietary requests, thank you. We were celebrating 60th birthday and did put note on booking but nothing special arranged. Party of 5 we had bread and olives, scallops and mussels to start followed by Ribeye steak, Lemon sole, Belly pork (ordered the special but got the dish from main menu) and polenta with seafood all very tasty and perfectly cooked, no leftovers here! Desserts twist on tiramisu - bit too heavy with the sticky toffee. Cheesecake, plum upside down cake and ricotta donuts all good but wouldn’t say outstanding very average desserts at quite a hefty price of £9 min Coffees to finish and a couple of alcohol beverages Total bill with tip under £300 Would defiantly visit again but prob skip desserts

   One of the best roasts in Cornwall. Plenty of delicious meat, potatoes lovely and crispy and lashings of gloriously meaty gravy. Service was attentive without feeling intrusive and they applied the special offer of 2 courses for a set price without us even realising 😊 Thank you Longstore. Never fails to please.

   Steak was good,however the side dishes let the whole meal deal. When we complained they refunded the dishes at £0.00 as they weare included in the price of the chateaubriand.

    Lovely restaurant and helpful staff. Tables,cutlery and glassware all very clean. Good selection of food as well as the specials board. Food presentation excellent. Would definitely return and recommend.
