Wonderful place to gather with friends. Excellent food and drink!
I never get to take my gf out to nice places like this. It was the best vday gamble I could have taken. Everything tasted amazing and we felt guilty for having to box the rest haha. Thank you for making my vday special.
I took my wife to Lola's for Valentines. I had never been there before. They had a great Valentine's special! $100 per couple! This included an appetizer, entree, and dessert as well as a bottle of wine or champagne. There was live music but we could talk to each other without yelling. The food was delicious and great quality! We started with a chef cheese board that had meats, cheeses, breads, and fig jam. Our entree was the chef's choice beef cut and although I did find my prime rib to be a little over seasoned, it was cooked perfectly. For dessert we chose something called a berry crisp, which turned out to be some stuffed french toast looking style bread with multiberry syrups and ice cream (it was wonderful). We had a great experience and would definitely recommend them.
The food was really good. Our waitress was good as well. Fun atmosphere and fun things for the valentines dinner. Definitely a good experience for the price they were charging
Unbelievable derive from whole to marketing manager, made our Valentine’s Day so special! Thank you Lola!
I was looking for someplace different, good food, and drinks for Valentin's dinner and choose The Lola based on reviews. The best part of the experience were the drinks - they were delicious! Beyond that the experience was not good. The staff appeared a bit unorganized with themselves, the waitstaff was incorrect with the Chef's cut and recanted the original item for the actual (it was ordered anyway). The food came out very fast; the problem was that the salad and the entree where brought out together - no time to enjoy the salad while food was prepared. We had to request salt and pepper for our meal and steak knives were brought out as an afterthought. The main entree was warm, at best, when brought out and not so much when getting to actually eat it. The Lobster Mac'nCheese should have been hot with gooey cheese; it was not. Sending food back to be re-heated often results in dried out food, so I just ate it as is. Same for the Chef's Cut. Lastly, I, personally, dislike when a bill comes with an automatic tip (20%) included. I always thought tip was discretionary. Overall - I would not recommend The Lola and was disappointed for a Valentine's Dinner/Date Night we were very much looking forward to.
Went at Happy Hour and that was a good thing. Decent priced drinks. Humus platter good with the warm vegetables. Everything else was lousy. Meatballs were cold and extremely Spicy. Bruschetta was about the worst I’ve ever had. Bread was cold and sliced too thick. About a 2” think layer of fig spread on with a few crispy pieces of procuitto however was not sure if that’s what it was. Brie was cold with 2 thin slices of apple and fresh mozzarella was cold, terrible and tasteless. Really too bad as the place was in a good spot.
We made reservations for my birthday months in advance. Once we arrived the table was ready ,however, it was a high top inside. I told the greeter that we can’t sit at a high top due to having two babies with us. The greeter was unsympathetic and said “ well, since you didn’t specify that you needed a table this is what we have “. I was blown away by the lack of care. We were able to
sit a table outside because the group that had reserved didn’t specify either and they swapped us. No champagne glasses were available for champagne - it’s bottomless mimosas- I would think an establishment would have enough glassware to support this. At the end of brunch- no sparkler for the dessert. The food runner came out with a cheesecake that wasn’t the cake my husband and brought and stated “ we ran out of sparklers” sorry and ran off. I know this is very minimal but on a birthday celebration?! I was looking forward to this celebration and dining here but was very underwhelmed and would be hesitate to come back which is a shame because the vibe of the restaurant is very cool and what we look for in a brunch spot. The food was good.
This place looks great but that’s where it ends. Service was terribly slow. One of our meals didn’t come out and had to made so that person sat there while everyone else ate. Food was below average. Will not go back. Disappointing.
Looking forward to going back! I ordered a specialty cocktail, but it was no longer available, so our server recommended the smokey old fashioned, and it was AMAZING!! Hubs and I eat vegan, and my daughter and grandson are very adventurous. I do wish there were a few more vegan options, but we thoroughly enjoyed the food we had! Crispy Bites, tempura veggies, Pretzel Sticks, Salmon, Ribeye, Avacado salad and pineapple churros. Everything was delicious, service was spot on and Lolas is very clean and well taken care of. We made a reservation, and although it may not have been necessary, I would recommend.
Wednesday evening ladies night and I went to see friend's band play. The waiter kept offering wine special which seems to be the big sale. My friend had Crab Mac n cheese with lots of hearty pieces and very yummy. I chose the carrot cake that was larger than I expected and ended up taking home.
The ambience was very dark and not to my liking-- I think because of live music.
I would definitely go back during the day to try other menu items.
The waitstaff is really disorganized. We ordered a board and never got plates to eat off of. Took literally 20 minutes to get our cocktails. Food wasn’t great. Very basic and felt like I could make it at home. I’m sure this place won’t stay open much longer.
Very nice but not allergy sensitive. Barely any food options for Gluten Free
We were there with a party of 8 for my husbands birthday. I’m never one to get upset with a server but we all left frustrated. Our server got 2 of 8 orders incorrect, it took the bar 20 mins to make 5 drinks and two of our final checks we’re over charged. On top of it all the manager never spoke to us or addressed us.
We went here for a work dinner/drinks. We had a great time!
Came to try out their famous $10 mimosa special and they did not disappoint. The chicken and waffles looked great but wasn’t quite a bit but everything else we had was really good.
We went for a ladies’ night out and everything met our expectations! Delicious boards and great happy hour prices..and very friendly service as well! The ambiance is nice too, earthy and modern. We’ll be back!
new year brunch with friends. early reservation. menu was wide ranging with classic breakfast and lunch and in between. Wife had chicken and waffles. I had a bacon, avocado, egg, lettuce sandwich on texas toast. Both were outstanding. Drinks were excellent. Bottomless mimosas in several flavors were the hit if the day. This place is a long way from my house but I will probably go back.
Cute atmosphere, great food but extremely unorganized. I had a reservation at 7:00pm, when I arrived I was told I'd have to wait because the restaurant was being turned over for a party, and that it was a fixed menu. Not once was I told in my phone call to the restaurant and my email confirmation that there would be a party happening or that it was a fixed menu. This host was unorganized, stressed and clearly didn't care. My waitress Kia was fantastic though and saved the day for us.
First time going out with my girls to brunch for mimosas and it was a great experience.
It was our first time here and we loved it! The food was amazing!
The place was cute. It took forever to order and when we did food came out cold and staff would have little attitudes if we asked for something. One of my guests order was mixed up with another guest and the girl who brought out the food told them to just switch it on the plates with eachother... lol NEVER in my life had I heard that suggestion. Waitress seemed to care more about the bigger parties and hardly checked on us... lucky for her tip was automatically added to check. They decided to open up a bay window and it was COLD!!!! Also people sitting outside were smoking so all we smelled were cigarettes (tho we thought that was weird because it’s a no smoking area). Cute place horrible service and cold food....first and last time there.
Food was average. Service was very poor. One of our plates was delivered to another table, which then we had to wait for a new plate to be made, meanwhile the rest of our table were eating. We had no condiments, or salt and pepper. Had to ask for things numerous times. Overall it was a poor experience, we most likely will not return
Enjoyed the energy in the room, lots of groups brunching.
The service was average, the food was, as they say in the At&T commercial, just OK.
I ordered the hash with steak. I would have thought the steak would be chopped up and mixed with the hash, instead came on the side of the dish.
Overall a OK experience.
Pretty bad from start to finish. Despite being before a Coyotes game, it wasn’t that busy. However, it took a while for our waitress to acknowledge us, longer to actually take drink orders. I expected that given their “craft cocktails” they would certainly be able to make a good basic martini. Unfortunately, not. They had to remake it twice (after making it wrong the same way the second time).
The food was unfortunately no better. The salad was bland, although the ingredients fresh. The toasted breads we ordered were more of the same. Single note, not seasoned. The classic bruschetta was by far the best.
Overall a big miss. Of all the places near the stadium, we were hoping for solid drinks and food here. Don’t see us going back.
This place is overrated#neveragain. The waiters kept rushing us to order drinks and food even when we asked for some time. The lobster macaroni tasted like a tvdinner you pop in the microwave. For sure will not try again. Must be the paid ads on Instagram that hyped this place up.
The Lola offered a nice relaxed dining experience following an afternoon Coyotes game. We were an hour early for our reservation but the staff accomadated us without issue. The only gripe was that it took a while before our server came by and took our drink orders, though it may have had something to do with us getting there early, after that however the service was good, prompt, delightful and the food came out quickly. The menu options were good with everyone in our party being happy with their choices. I'll certainly give the Lola another look the next time I'm in Glendale or near their other locations and will add them to the places to check out for friends.
This is a sports bar billing itself as a “craft cocktail lab”. They had two common gins along with a no-name brand as their well option. No martini olives on site, they’d run out. Service was very slow to deliver drinks and get food ordered even though the place was nearly empty. We had one round of drinks and a appetizer then went someplace else to eat dinner. This was unfortunate being my wife’s birthday.
The bottomless mimosas were great! The food was underwhelming but you definitely go for the experience!
Went here for morning after bachelorette brunch. Food was yummy and the waitress didn’t mind splitting the check.
Nice place to eat and hang out had a birthday celebration there
Super service by our waiter. We loved the drinks and the food - tried the Lobster Mac and Cheese, "Toasts", Cobb salad, and meatball sandwich. Easy dinner before Coyotes game.
Our server Cassie M. did a great job. The food was good but would go back because of the service!
We had a couple of drinks and appetizers. Food was very good, came out hot. The service was spectacular. We sat for quite a while enjoying our food and while the wait staff was attentive, they let us sit without giving the feeling of trying to hurry us out. Will be back again, and would definitely recommend The Lola to others.
Such a good vibe! We love the neon lights! this place is cute for selfies and we loved our server!
Love this place! I have been here every weekend almost for the past month. I will be back this coming up weekend!
Adore and love everything about Lola i will be returning
Had brunch right before they were busy. It was quiet and food was amazing! We will be back
The waitress we had was extremely nice and pleasant I forgot her name but awesome service
Shared 3 menu items as this was first time at Lola's. Raves for the chicken and waffles.
