I’m sure that on a day without events, the experience might be better; however, at the end of the day, it’s just a loud, hot bar. While most of my experience was negative, I want to start by adding something positive: the food was really, really good, and I’m sure it’s even better with the full menu. First, the menu online does not match the menu you’ll get on an event night, which was the main reason we booked reservations there. Someone in our party requires gluten-free options, and the event menu only offered about half the choices shown online. Second, it was extremely hot. We realize it was June, but they kept all the garage doors and the front door open, even with the AC running and very limited fans. It was so uncomfortable that a few tables got up and left, leaving their drinks behind. Third, it was incredibly loud, making it hard for servers to hear orders. One person in our group received the wrong side, and another got a completely wrong dish. It wasn’t worth sending the food back because it took 40 minutes from ordering to receiving our meals, so we just ate what was served. Also, plan to order two drinks at a time—it took about 45-60 minutes to get refills. On the positive side, our waitress was definitely trying her best and was very sweet, despite the circumstances. And again, the food we did get was really good. So, if you’re okay with heat, loud noise, sticky bar-top tables, and overpriced drinks, it might be the place for you.

Disappointed and Frustrated – Worst Birthday Experience I’ve been to The Lola in Glendale three times before and always had a decent experience, but this birthday celebration was by far the worst. We were seated within five minutes of our reservation, which was the only part that went smoothly. After that, things went downhill. It took nearly 10 minutes for our server to even approach the table. We ordered a bottle of champagne and were only given one glass. When we asked for a second glass, we were told we couldn’t share—even though we saw multiple other parties doing just that. It felt like an intentional upsell tactic. We declined the second charge, yet one mysteriously appeared on the final bill. Service continued to be incredibly slow. I ordered a drink from the bar after waiting another 10 minutes, but the server never returned. Eventually, an extra glass just appeared on the table—confusing and frustrating. When our food finally arrived, it was barely warm. One order was completely forgotten, and another came out missing the fruit that was supposed to be included. At checkout, a different (and very pleasant) waitress brought over the payment device—with the extra $25 champagne charge still on it. I had to request a manager, but no one ever came. Instead, the server returned and told us the manager removed the extra charge. Still, we were expected to leave a 20%+ tip after such poor service? Unbelievable. This was an incredibly disappointing experience—especially for a special occasion. I’ve never encountered such disorganized service and questionable billing practices. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Wanted to like it so much. Did a great job making moms feel special. Mimosa bar was nice. Service was terribly slow. Food was ok. Music was so loud and playlist not what you'd expect for Mothers Day brunch. I think we have better options close by so will probably not be back.

The place had cute decor and music going. It was just way too hot outside not to have the misters working. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, you make sure these things work before big holidays, like Mother's Day. Especially if you are planning on seating people outside. We made a reservation, but apparently they allowed everyone to make reservations since we still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes before being seated. I understand that the server was busy, but service and food coming out was pretty slow. Again, not our server's fault at all. She was doing her best and was very kind! Overall it was not bad, the biggest issue was the heat. Side note, they told us that the Mother's Day raffle would be announced on their social media and I have not seen anything. I sent them a private message 4 days ago and still have not heard back either.

For a Mother's Day Brunch, the music was way too loud to carry on a conversation. Why have a DJ so early in the morning blaring music so loud when we are there to celebrate Mother's? My water cup sat empty for a very long time, but probably because they were so busy. The food came and we didn't have silverware. When the silverware was brought, there was a long hair in the cloth napkin that was wrapped around it in mine. But, the food was good. Gratuity was included on my check, so don't double tip! I had to give up my credit card before seeing an itemized receipt!

We paid for the Mother’s Day event. When we arrived it took a long time for us to get waited on & we kept being told that we didn’t pay when the proof was in the email. We were not seated or greeted like everyone else. We kept having to ask if we could get what we paid for in the VIP package. It was a horrible experience. Our waitress was good overall with checking on us and making sure that we had everything that we needed. We will probably never dine here again. We watched people be treated so nice & we were just treated poorly.
