Disappointed and Frustrated – Worst Birthday Experience I’ve been to The Lola in Glendale three times before and always had a decent experience, but this birthday celebration was by far the worst. We were seated within five minutes of our reservation, which was the only part that went smoothly. After that, things went downhill. It took nearly 10 minutes for our server to even approach the table. We ordered a bottle of champagne and were only given one glass. When we asked for a second glass, we were told we couldn’t share—even though we saw multiple other parties doing just that. It felt like an intentional upsell tactic. We declined the second charge, yet one mysteriously appeared on the final bill. Service continued to be incredibly slow. I ordered a drink from the bar after waiting another 10 minutes, but the server never returned. Eventually, an extra glass just appeared on the table—confusing and frustrating. When our food finally arrived, it was barely warm. One order was completely forgotten, and another came out missing the fruit that was supposed to be included. At checkout, a different (and very pleasant) waitress brought over the payment device—with the extra $25 champagne charge still on it. I had to request a manager, but no one ever came. Instead, the server returned and told us the manager removed the extra charge. Still, we were expected to leave a 20%+ tip after such poor service? Unbelievable. This was an incredibly disappointing experience—especially for a special occasion. I’ve never encountered such disorganized service and questionable billing practices. Sadly, I won’t be returning.

Wanted to like it so much. Did a great job making moms feel special. Mimosa bar was nice. Service was terribly slow. Food was ok. Music was so loud and playlist not what you'd expect for Mothers Day brunch. I think we have better options close by so will probably not be back.

The place had cute decor and music going. It was just way too hot outside not to have the misters working. As someone who works in the restaurant industry, you make sure these things work before big holidays, like Mother's Day. Especially if you are planning on seating people outside. We made a reservation, but apparently they allowed everyone to make reservations since we still had to wait in line for about 30 minutes before being seated. I understand that the server was busy, but service and food coming out was pretty slow. Again, not our server's fault at all. She was doing her best and was very kind! Overall it was not bad, the biggest issue was the heat. Side note, they told us that the Mother's Day raffle would be announced on their social media and I have not seen anything. I sent them a private message 4 days ago and still have not heard back either.

For a Mother's Day Brunch, the music was way too loud to carry on a conversation. Why have a DJ so early in the morning blaring music so loud when we are there to celebrate Mother's? My water cup sat empty for a very long time, but probably because they were so busy. The food came and we didn't have silverware. When the silverware was brought, there was a long hair in the cloth napkin that was wrapped around it in mine. But, the food was good. Gratuity was included on my check, so don't double tip! I had to give up my credit card before seeing an itemized receipt!

We paid for the Mother’s Day event. When we arrived it took a long time for us to get waited on & we kept being told that we didn’t pay when the proof was in the email. We were not seated or greeted like everyone else. We kept having to ask if we could get what we paid for in the VIP package. It was a horrible experience. Our waitress was good overall with checking on us and making sure that we had everything that we needed. We will probably never dine here again. We watched people be treated so nice & we were just treated poorly.

Service was terrible, restrooms were disgusting, ordered happy hour menu and was not given happy hour pricing on my bill, will never go here again.

Ate here before a concert. Nothing amazing, but worked well for a place to make a reservation at Westgate

For paying $60 for the reservation alone, you’d think it would have been better executed. The chicken and waffles - waffle was great, the chicken was dry and thin and all I could taste was rosemary. The drink that was advertised to come in a pineapple, came in a regular glass. We were given a regular cup with strawberry lemonade when the drink was advertised as a choice between mocktails and the $10 a kid golden egg hunt came back with $1 bubbles and $.50 lollipops. It just felt like a scam
