Food was great! Can’t wait to go back! Great place to catch up with friends and have some drinks.
This place is way to loud. And wasn’t impressed by the seating, the seats are torn.
Overall would not recommend for special occasions as our experience was not pleasant. We ordered drinks and a chessboard. Drink ordered was advertised a certain way, the drink we received did not match that description. When we asked our waiter to please correct the issue he seemed annoyed.
Was not impressed. Heard so much about this place. Menu for brunch was second to other places we have tried (i.e Hash Kitchen, Tryst, OhSo, and more) and this place left me needing more. Pushy server wanting us to move fast at 915am (and they weren't busy) to limited menu. 5 people ≈ 150 bill. (3 French toast, 1 traditional, and 1 chicken+waffles) no good egg options. No eggs Benedict, no huevos rancheros, their Brut is sweet and not good. Just not impressed. Won't be back.
Good food. Service is awesome and they take reservations. Drinks are awesome
My coworkers and I made a reservation for brunch and everything went perfectly. We arrived at our reservation time which was 11am I think that was a great time to be there. We immediately were seated and we had an amazing time!!
Servers need more training on what is on the menu and drinks that are available.
Fun atmosphere, good service it was just really hot in there.
Our appetizers arrived, but we were still waiting for silverware. We asked three times, before finally getting them, only to find just a fork and no knife or spoon.
Food was mediocre at best. No taste. Absolutely blunt!
The waiter was too busy to offer drink refills or deserts.
Place was overated. Service was good but the food wasn't that great. The lobster Mac had small portions with a sprinkle of lister on it. Never going back.
Live music was cool. All the food tasted good as well.
I loved this area! The design and employees work so hard and made sure all meals were at satisfaction for customers. I will definitely go back again soon
We were initially sat at a table semi close to the door and then asked to move per a birthday party had reserved that table which is totally fine however they moved us to a table off to the side and it was extremely hot. we felt no air circulation at all making it hard to enjoy the rest of our time here.
We had a great time there celebrating my birthday, just wished they wiuld had told us about the AC being down. It was really hot so we finished eating and had to go somewhere else to continue. Other than that it was great our server was awesome!
It was 112 degrees outside when we went, and yet there was no air conditioning inside! Music was super loud, so I lost my voice talking with friends at my table. Food was good. Probably won’t be back because of the sweat/lack of AC and the noise level.
We had a lovely time at The Lola. Food was delicious, drinks were yummy, and Saray (sp?) was wonderful!
Horrible! Awful service and bad food. Took forever to get drinks and the restaurant was only about 40% full. Don’t waste your time and money
Came here for the bottomless mimosas and they did not disappoint! Great service, excellent food and fun atmosphere.
Good food. A little loud. Excellent price for quantity of food.
Great place to get together with friends. Wide variety of of food choices and a great selection of drink choices. A little pricey but a great treat for every now and then.
DJ was insanely loud. Don’t go to this place unless you want to scream at people sitting next to you
We went for lunch and had the Cobb salads. We weren’t made aware that they didn’t have the pear vinaigrette dressing for the salads until she showed up at the table with our salads and ranch. If she had let us know earlier, I would have switched meals. Otherwise the ambiance is pretty chill and the server was friendly.
I was very excited for this places ! But it did not hold expectations, Is more a drinking place ! Food is overpriced and not as good as it looks!! But services is good, music and ambiance too! So I will recommend this places to pre-game !
The food is great and the prices are reasonable with great portions. The music is A1 and makes for a very fun brunch. However, this is a party spot to lots of birthdays and loud screams with cheers.
The place was amazing. The food was so delicious, we had to ask for more food because we finished it all so quick. Definitely would come back again.
Lola was just okay. The food was good but nothing spectacular.
Our server/waiter was good but my food came out about 10-15 mins after the rest of my party. He apologized but that really shouldn’t happen. Not sure what was going on in the kitchen
We were looking for a place to have dinner before attending the comedy club nearby and found The Lola here on Open Table. The menu looked good, so we tried it out. The menu was definitely more impressive than the venue itself - our table was sticky and strange and the chairs very uncomfortable. Service was okay, but slow and it was difficult to hear our server because the music was blasting so loudly. Food was just okay. My husband had the buger and fries and his fries were WELL done - they were hard and dry - very strange. There was also more bun than buger and the fried bacon on top was also over cooked. I had the "toast" trio and it was a little dry and not very flavorful. I doubt we'll be back.
Really good vibe. Music was everything and the food was okay. The massive dessert was so fun to see and eat
Food was overpriced and was not very good. Pancakes were $30, small and overcooked so they were tough. We also got a toast boards that was not very good.
Drinks were good and the waitress was attentive and nice.
Drinks did not match menu, sticky tables and bar.
Don’t come here if you’re looking for a date spot. The floor is horrifically sticky to start out with and it’s impossibly loud. The drinks are very overpriced. The food was average, nothing special. They didn’t bring us our deserts and between two people it was nearly $200 to be disappointed. You’re better off going anywhere else in westgate.
Sigh... I hate giving bad reviews. The place was not clean. It was dark and loud. It was a bar and I guess I was looking for a restaurant and a bar.OuWe had to exchange both chair as our table because they rocked. feet were sticking to the floors, this could have been do to what they were cleaning with. Our chairs were rocking so we found new chairs, so fine we are not handicapped but we were placed in front of the bathroom and be were trying to talk over the music so we decided to take ourselves out to the patio where we seated ourselves after letting our server know and moving our waters and silverware ourselves.
We seated ourselves twice because the first table was full of water from the sprinklers and the seats were literally full of water on my side. We moved to what we thought was a clean table [this should indicate to you that tables were available but not cleaned] but it was not my arm was sticking to something on the table. I went inside and requested a rag from our waitress who brought a rag that had fabuloso on it, for those who are unfamiliar with this product it has a very strong odor which permeated the rest of our dinner. I cleaned the table. We ordered, my husbands burger was ok, Fries were poor. I had the Salmon and quinoa which was ok, not bad so they can cook but we felt their goal was alcohol at this establishment. I had a couple of glasses of wine.
The waitress was nice but I do not feel she went out of her way to assist us outside of us ordering and bringing us our food.
Food was good but they were out of ice tea! How can you be out of ice tea?
Great menu, deliciously prepared, and the service was non-stop. If you sit inside, the noise level is higher but that’s with most restaurants. They have a nice patio seating space as well. Love this place!
The French toast, Chicken waffel, and toasts are A-mazing.
It was so loud that my kids were holding their ears. Also they only serve brunch on Sundays which was not advertised properly. The waitress had an edge to her and we didn’t want to deal with the negativity. This almost ruined our Father’s Day. We ended up leaving.
Our waitress was amazing! Unfortunately I made reservations over a month in advance and asked to sit inside. We were seated outside, mind you, we were a party of 9. It was 110 outside! Half of our table got their food and 20-30 minutes later the other half did. So we didn’t even eat together! Our waitress apologized over and over again. It wasn’t her fault, I would blame management and the kitchen staff. Our waitress requested that we get a discount for our troubles which was given to us. We were just bummed because our whole family doesn’t always get to spend a special time together like this.
We went there for Father's Day. Dad really liked the brunch menu. The mixed drinks were very nice. Our server was super. The only issue really was how crowded it was while the Delta variant of Covid is still out there and how terribly noisy it was.
It was really delightful. Felt hip, and fun but approachable.
The menu was very limited. Two of the items I found online in your menu and was excited to try were not on the menu when we arrived.
Table was sticky and staff was overwhelmed that day. Since we arrived at opening I was surprised they weren’t ready knowing they had as many reservations as they did.
This is one of the worst restaurants I've ever been to in my life. The service was terrible right from the start. The floor was incredibly sticky. The decor was trashy looking. The chairs were super uncomfortable. A random waitress squeezed a chair into our table that blocked me from sitting normally at the table. She told me the chair is "supposed to go here." My comfort be damned, I guess. Our waiter was pretty much non-existent the whole time we were there. The food was subpar. It was bland, very mediocre. We contemplated leaving a few times but we stuck it out just to see how bad it would actually be. It was really bad. I apologized to everyone at my table for bringing them here. Just awful. Do not recommend.
