I’ve never had an experience like this, and I truly feel it’s important you know what happened. 1. I updated our reservation by phone from 9 to 13 guests. Based on prev experience, I took the extra step of reserving a second table just in case. Good thing I did because when we arrived, the table was only set for 9, and we did need the second table to accommodate our group. 2. Once seated, we were told our 90-minute timer began immediately yet no server came to our table for the first 20 minutes. I eventually had to get up and ask, “Is a server going to take our order?” It was frustrating to be told our time was running while receiving no service. 3. I confirmed by phone that a minor could be included in our bottomless drinks for the full price and be served juice. We agreed to this, but when we ordered, the waitress said it wasn’t possible. Only after speaking with other staff was it honored. 4. A server attempted to deliver plates by reaching across our long table spilling a drink onto my clothes and into my French toast. (It was taken off the bill and we got a new server, thank you) 5. The bathroom had no stocked toilet paper in dispensers. Instead, rolls were on the toilet seats and floor, which was unsanitary and unpleasant. 6. We pre-ordered the $50 birthday celebration (cake, sparklers, and shots). When it didn’t arrive, we asked and were told it wasn’t ordered. Once reordered, only the cake came out, no sparklers or shots, and again I had to inquire about the missing items. 7. I constantly found myself having to remind the staff about commitments they had already agreed to. I felt like I was micromanaging the service. 8. Despite our group spending over $1,100 across two tables, we were told we were “over time” just as we were ordering another $120 round of shots. 9. I was shocked/embarrassed to walk out of the restroom to find my family being escorted out. This experience made us feel like we were being mistreated, actively dismissed and pushed out.

Overall, our experience was great and truly exceeded our expectations. The ambiance and vibe of the place were exactly what we were looking for, and everything turned out wonderfully in the end. That said, we had a disappointing interaction with Lucas, which put a damper on the planning process. As a larger group, we simply wanted to order from the main menu, but Lucas seemed more focused on fitting us into their preset party plans rather than asking how we envisioned our visit. This was during off-peak hours on a Thursday at 4 PM, so we were surprised by the lack of flexibility. Despite presenting our situation clearly, Lucas was unresponsive—he never returned our calls or followed up, which was frustrating. We ultimately worked around the issue by making two separate reservations ourselves, and it all turned out just fine, which makes us wonder why there was such resistance in the first place. We’re glad we stuck with it because the experience was worth it, but we do hope future guests are met with more support and accommodation during the planning phase.

First time going. I took my mother and grandmother out for mother’s day and they LOVED it. The food was great, nothing was wrong everything was literally perfect.

From the moment we walked into The Lola, we were excited to try it out. But as soon as we were seated, things took a turn. No one came over to introduce themselves or even ask if we wanted water or drinks. It was 6:50 PM, and we wondered if they were just waiting for happy hour to wrap up. While we waited, we took a look around, and being our first visit, we were puzzled by a sink right in the middle of our booth and every other booth. Unfortunately, it was in pretty rough shape—definitely not clean enough for any food or drinks to be placed there and can’t imagine what it was used for and do not even want to think about it. Again it was nasty! After about 15 minutes of waiting, during which one server glanced our way but never acknowledged us, we decided it was best to leave and enjoy a fantastic meal and service at one of their competitors on Frank Sinatra Drive. It was really disappointing, especially since we were looking forward to a nice meal. The lack of service made us feel overlooked, and we walked out feeling like we didn’t matter at all and will never be back.

I celebrated my birthday with friends and we had a blast. The music set the vibes, bottomless mimosas were perfect, and the food was great.
