The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Shrimp cocktail very good. Service very good, friendly , caring and thorough . The food was just OK. The black and Simon was very salty. My mother-in-law had the duck salad, one small, duck leg, and a ton of spinach, my mom enjoyed the osó busco.

We have become weekly regulars at the Log Cabin. It is the destination where we always bring our out-of-town guests. It is the most romantic place to dine in Lancaster County.

We have always loved The Log Cabin and have been celebrating birthdays, anniversaries and date nights there for the past 7 years. Recently, there has been less gf selections, starting with my favorite, Osso Bucco. It was gf, then they got a new chef. I don't understand what would be so difficult about using gf BBQ sauce and having a dedicated gf fryer. I follow a "Lancaster Celiac " page where people with allergies are always asking for "safe" places to eat gf food. I used to mention The Log Cabin, but don't any more because of limited gf choices. In fact, we will not frequent there as often. Max, the bartender was great. Welcoming, attentive and friendly. William, the table clearer was supper sweet when he brought out my lighted gf birthday dessert, and even sang happy birthday to me! Hopefully The Log Cabin will read this review and make some improvements because we really liked it there!

Food and service excellent. A bit dark and dated, but it was a special dinner. We did have one special request that they could not accommodate. A bit disappointing. Waiter was wonder. Food delicious.

Overall an excellent experience. It was our anniversary and we not only were greeted with warm wishes but our table had a happy anniversary sign and Wilbur chocolates. What a wonderful way to start the evening. Food was exceptional- we sent our compliments to the Chef and staff. Max our main server, was incredible!! Thank you Log Cabin for a superb Anniversary experience/ meal !!
