The Log Cabin is an upscale restaurant specializing in fine farm-to-table cuisine, specialty cocktails and wines. The historic structure dates back more than 100 years and was once used as a Speakeasy before opening officially as a restaurant in 1933, after the Repeal of Prohibition. Since then, the Log Cabin has become a Lancaster County tradition, playing host to countless birthdays, anniversaries, business events and celebrations of all kinds.

Enjoy a drink, dessert or small-plate while listening to a mix of Blues, Jazz and American Classics. Walk-ins are welcome! And guests with dinner reservations should feel free to arrive early or stay late to enjoy the music. No cover charge. Seating is available on a first-come, first-serve basis.

Tina is an excellent server, and Lilly is an excellent bar tender. Food was delicious and service was friendly and attentive. We're glad to be back.

MJ, our server, was wonderful and attentive to our needs and helped make this a great birthday celebration. The food presentation was excellent and there was a lot of food! I wasn’t crazy about the seasoning on the rib eye special but the osso bucco was tasty. Dessert was great including a nice happy birthday treat and candle for the chocolate cake. Music in the next room was soothing and very pleasant. I was a little annoyed that they couldn’t accommodate my early arrival and choice of table ( they sat us in the middle of the room at a table for 5 and we were a party of 2); there were empty tables for 2 available at the time we were seated. I appreciated chatting with Kirk L— nice touch.

Very nice atmosphere, food was average, service very good. Had a martini that frankly was extremely embarrassing. I have never seen a martini glass so “small”, more like a dessert type glass. Was made well, but the size was really ridiculous.

Food was excellent as always but if I were the owner the first thing I would change is the chairs. High end restuerant like this should have cushions on the chairs and the lighting could be better. Almost too dark to read the menu.

Delicious dinner on the patio till the rain came. Mary Rose did a wonderful job! The entire staff was warm, friendly and attentive.

Another fabulous dinner at the Log Cabin. Our dinner was outstanding, and our server Christian was extremely accommodating and patient with our group of six. Excellent oysters, delicious appetizers, composed and filling entrees, and delightful desserts...seriously, the sticky toffee pudding is just to-die for. Can't recommend it enough!

My husband and I were looking for a romantic place to enjoy our 20th wedding anniversary dinner. We had not planned to dine at The Log Cabin, and being from out of town, we were not familiar with the area/restaurant. We saw several great reviews and decided to make a reservation. We reserved a table online and specified we would like a quiet table for two as we were celebrating our anniversary. When we arrived at the restaurant, we were initially seated in the “standard dining area” against a wall between two large parties. My husband and I never ever ask to be moved from a table, but we were very much hoping for a more intimate setting for our dinner. We asked our waiter, Christian, if we could sit at a different table. Without hesitation and without seeming annoyed, he relocated us to the “booth” room, which was exactly the dimly lit, private location we hoped for. Next time we make a reservation, I’ll be more specific in my table request. Aside from that little hiccup, the entire experience was phenomenal from start to finish. The drinks were well mixed, the appetizers, entrees and desert were incredible. There was not one bad bite! My husband and I felt we truly had a special anniversary thanks to the unforgettable service, food, and environment at The Log Cabin. If you get the opportunity to go, do not hesitate! You will not be sorry!

The food and service were both excellent. MJ, our server, was attentive and efficient. We had cheese charcuterie board for starters, the wedge and Cesar salad, salmon with risotto, and beef tenderloin. For dessert we had the sticky toffee pudding. Everything was delicious. Best meal we have had in a long time! The only negatives were that the restaurant was a little too dark, we were seated in a rather dark area which made reading the menu a bit challenging. And the other diners were too loud for this intimate fine dining restaurant. We were celebrating our anniversary and wanted a quiet romantic spot. The loud table of six men seated in our area made the room too noisy.

We thoroughly enjoyed dining at The Log Cabin. 10/10!Everyone, from the hostess to the bartender to the wait staff provided exemplary service. All three meals we cooked perfectly from the starters through to the desserts, it wouldn’t have surprised me if Gordon Ramsey made the Sticky Toffee Pudding, Christine could not have treated us better! She was personable, professional and friendly and she provided us with immediate answers to our questions. I’d recommend The Log Cabin to anyone, for any fine dining occasion!

The restaurant is dark and does not appear to have been updated in some time. The food was fair, nothing to rave about, especially given the price.

We're sorry to hear that your experience didn't meet your expectations. As a Prohibition-era log cabin, preserving the historic character of our space, is something we take pride in. That said, we’ve made many updates over the years to ensure our guests are comfortable while still honoring our roots. We’re also known for our signature dim lighting, which adds to the atmosphere, but we understand that it may not be to everyone’s taste.
