   Nestled in the woods in Leola, this place is like no other. Besides being a charming, cozy place to dine, the food and service are both outstanding. We enjoyed sitting near the fireplace and listening to the music of the acoustic guitar playing. Wonderful evening!

   Food and service was excellent , only issue, I was running 15 minutes late, called the restaurant to let them know and got voicemail, that was for future reservations. When arrived 6:30 for 6:15 reservation they said they gave our table away. They said they would have to find a table , while there were several empty tables on the first floor they gave us a table about 10 minutes later on the 2nd floor. So my wife who has a disability, half paralyzed had to walk up the steep set of stairs to the table . Food and waitress were excellent , bit if you have 4 women as hostess’ and no one answered the phone then gave the table away wasn’t very nice .

   We went for our anniversary dinner. We had a nice meal . The only thing was I am gluten free not by choice and there wasn’t too many options for me. I was able to order a shrimp dish off of their small plate section. It was delicious. Our server was great. It was a nice experience.

   My wife and I visited after seeing Noah at Sight and Sound. Ambience was absolutelybeautiful. Food was very good. I had the Cod and Scallop cake and my wife had the marinated portobello mushroom dish. Only negative was a very loud party of six next to us who obviously didn't consider other diners with the amount of noise generated from their table with one female laughing obnoxiously loud every time something was said! In spite of that I still am giving 5 stars. In addition, there was live entertainment. The music very nice.

   We really enjoyed it there! My only complaint would be to have more vegetarian or vegan options. They have a decent menu, but there was only ONE meal option for me. That was a little disappointing because I was super excited to try their food. Otherwise everything else was great!

   I had booked our private dining room in advance, and those I spoke to over the phone were very helpful. However, when we arrived there was a little confusion from host staff over which party we were. Luckily I reminded them of the room name. Our Server Laura was great, soft spoken and knowledgeable about the menu. It would have been nice if someone had come around to check on us more frequently for drink reorders. Service seemed a bit slow. It did not seem to be a busy Friday night. However, the food was definitely worth waiting for! Bravo! We will be back! The DeSantis room was very nice. Would love to see the secret Speakeasy area!

    Great service! We wish there were more vegan options or vegetarian options that could be made vegan so we would want to come back more often. Otherwise, nice ambiance…good service…and the food we did have was good
