   The prices are far too high for the amount of food on the plate. The clam linguine had maybe 7 little neck clams in hand full of pasta. The rib eye steak was small and over cooked to order. It was poor quality of cut with grizzle and not the shape of a traditional rib eye, again meager portions of 2 tablespoons of mashed potatoes and a childs serving of vegetables. Drink prices of $11 also overpriced. "The Loft" isn't Anthony's or The Marina and that's why people go there. The presentation was obviously in competition with those restaurants and I won't pay those prices for fanciness.

   I love this restaurant it’s a great restaurant. I love the location But as I was leaving, I was sitting at the hostess area and I could overhear two different servers barking commands at the hostess. I think the server staff should be more kind to the host staff.

   Waitress was lovely. View of the marina excellent. Booth table nice but bench seat hard and not too comfy. The Winter Burger, while sounding delicious, was very dry and surprisingly tasteless. Also the burger patty itself was quite small and overwhelmed by the larger bun. Would not recommend. The fish & chips were tasty and large portion. The salad was fine but not too exciting, mostly just greens.

   Staff was wonderful. We were hungry for fish tacos. We had 2 margaritas each and the halibut and ahi tacos. They were disappointing even after the margaritas.

   We had such a great evening at the Loft. The service was very good and our server was very attentive. The steamed clams were delicious. We also had their signaure item, the fish and chips, and were not disappointed. The setting and view only made our time spent there even better.

   The Loft Restaurant is outstanding in every regard. Walking in the door you are greeted by their very friendly staff then seated at a table with a lovely view overlooking the harbor and mountains, the presentation of the food is exquisite and tastes absolutely delicious (recommend the blackened halibut). The Loft Restaurant has my highest recommendation!

    We used to love the loft! But they have chosen to have farmed fish prevalent on the menu now. You have a hard time convincing me that in a community like Bellingham with all kinds of fish available year round they couldn’t find something local to offer instead. We have no plans to ever go back

    Amazing presentation and flavor of food! The fish and chips were amazing, a lot of meat and not too much breading it was perfect. The flight of margaritas to get 4 of them was $19 and the sizes of each were way bigger than expected! Definitely dining again soon

    My partner and I drove down from Vancouver, BC for a dinner across the border. We found 'The Loft' recommended online and decided to try it out - and I am so glad that we did. The service was prompt, and we were greeted as soon as we entered. The food was delicious, and most importantly fresh! My partner had the seafood salad, and I had the Baja fish tacos. The fish was fresh, and flavourful, and the toppings on the taco were great. The seafood salad was also very fresh - only complaint was that it was a little heavy on the greens and a little lighter than we would have preferred on the seafood. We shared the 1lb of the Manila clams, which had a lovely taste - and comes served with a really good garlic foccacia (sp?). We also shared the Bacon wrapped prawns which were very tasty. I had the White Sangria which was great too. The service was very quick - even considering that the restaurant was quite busy. Our server, Sarah was lovely as well. The location of the restaurant is great, and we look forward to also enjoying the outdoor seating area when the weather gets warmer. We will definitely be back.

    The food had too much salt and sauce and was horrible! I had a Thai salad and I couldn’t even eat two bites, I had to send it back. Then I ordered a chicken burger and it was fried but no flavour on the chicken and buns had way too much grainy Dijon. Normally, I’m not picky, but would not go back.

    Waited 10 minutes for the hostess to come to seat us (no one else was in line). 1st table had old food all over under it, moved to another table, still dirty floor but better. Waited over 10 minutes and no staff came (but a few passed us by) so we left and went to Nikki’s Bella Marina and had a much better experience. We won’t ever be back! Horrible 1st (and only) impression . For the high prices of the food (no beverages were listed on the menu) the service and cleanliness were completely unacceptable. Great views if not blinded by sunlight, but that’s the only positive we saw.

    We were really disappointed with The Loft. The location and marina view are very nice, and the service from our waitress was good, but the food was low quality and portions were small. I had a Caesar salad with halibut - the salad was surprisingly small for an entree, and the halibut pieces were also far too small and overcooked. My partner had an Ahi tuna salad - the tuna itself was fine but the salad had awful tomatoes and cucumber that you'd expect in a grocery store in the middle of winter - not when those items are in-season (this was the start of September) and should be sourced locally and be of high quality. Finally, the other people with us had the fish & chips - I tried one of the chips and it had a nearly-burnt taste, probably from using the oil in the fryer too long. We would not go back here again and don't recommend you do, either.

    Exceptional experience and service. Great bar and food. The loft burger is one of the better burgers I have had. The pink lemonade with raspberry vodka is one of the better mixed drinks l have had, this year. Enjoyed the view of Bellingham Bay. I am looking forward to returning to the Loft.

    I'd give the food 5 stars except it arrived lukewarm. Not sure if servers were too busy to deliver it promptly or if it left the kitchen cold. The presentation and quality were excellent, but some components of our appetizer and entree weren't even warm, much less hot.

    The service, food, and ambiance was excellent. There was 4 in our group and none of us was ever asked before if there was a food allergy. It was appreciated. The fault was lack of signage which made finding the restaurant difficult.
