   We visited before the theatre, the menu has condensed and some dishes are on the expensive side. I had to pay for my glass of wine at the bar rather than starting a tab. The food was OK, we had to chase twice for our garlic bread and despite requesting without my burger came with onion marmalade. Not terrible but we may find a new pre-there haunt.

   Fabulous atmosphere. Perfect place to relax and enjoy good food served by friendly confident smart staff. We were heading off to the institute to listen to Hozier. Perfect way to start the evening with a visit to the Loft Lounge. If you haven't already been !!! GO!!!! Its relaxed in a cool quirky way

   The staff are friendly and helpful however we were left just hanging around for 5 to 10 mins until a table was sorted out for us . Food was overall good but a bit of a wait , not very child friendly so i would not take very young kids . Overall quite good .

   Staff very friendly/ helpful - turned music down when asked. Only disappointing thing was that they were about to change to winter menu, and had run some food stocks down so not all choices from old menu were available. But still a very nice meal and we were well looked after.

   This is my 3rd visit to the loft lounge and have enjoyed every time I've visited, great place to eat with friends or family.

   This restaurant was just what we wanted for a good meal before going to a concert. The service was good, food excellent and staff very polite and friendly.

   The atmosphere was very nice, staff pleasant enough although a little lack lustre. Advised that they do not do table service but as it was quiet they would do this. Bar tab not permitted more pay as you go set up. When the food arrived it did not look good, there were four of us, so three of us opted for the loft lounge special burger and the fourth person opted for the chicken burger. The salad and dressing was very minimal, the so called chunky chips were over done and not chunky by any stretch of the imagination and as for the burgers, chicken was dry and the beef (well at least I think it was beef) had gristle and tasted extremely bland. There was hardly any burger or trimmings and when you pay £7.95 for this you expect much more.

   We arrived on time and found that the staff were aware of booking. Service was what was expected and we were regularly offered drinks. Everybody happy with meal although menu simple and uncomplicated. It was not busy in lounge and the whole if the eating tables wre not being used. We were offered sweet course but nobody took offer probably a bit slow in asking. Overall good value for money but feel 10% service charge for six guests is a hate of mine. I never mind paying a tip but do not feel this is warranted bearing in mind we were not given any additional or personal service

   sadley, very mediocre food. On a friday evening at 8pm we were the only customers in the restaurant area.........does that not say something?

    We had the very delicious Mother's Day menu for £24.95 for 3 courses with a complimentary glass of prosecco. Three of us chose Roast Beef - with Homemade Yorkshire Pudding It arrived without - we did ask the waiter and he informed us they had run out Then across another table another group of diners were enjoying their Sunday Roast - which had just arrived with a full compliment of Yorkshire puddings. The service was fine - the food was very good.
