The food wasn't up to the usual Traders Point standard.
Easy to relax there & enjoy the ambiance ! Mid week is the best time to go !
It was wonderful! Great food, great ambiance, great company!
Awesome as always. Love the atmosphere and food.
The menu options are limited, but that means the chefs can focus on making each one just right. The short ribs were marvelous! Great experience.
Scallops were perfect, Salmon too. had cheese crock appetizer- superb! Also highly recommend the roasted carrots! Staff very attentive and knew menu well!
Hoping this place has continued success. So nice to stop by for wine and charcuterie or unique main dishes. Fun, convenient and real.
Enjoyable luncheon with friends. Setting is unique and the food is different than the mainstream.
We had the most wonderful brunch for our first time at the Loft. Excellent service, great food and wonderful view on the porch. We'll definitely be back.
Loved it, but would have loved not sitting at a table meant for, four, when it was just me and my husband.
I loved everything about this place
Food was fantastic and the ambiance lovely
Can’t recommend it highly enough
Delicious and delightful.
Thought there might be recognition of anniversary, as I indicated in reservation but nothing was mentioned.
First visit great service and menu selection, will visit again
Appetizers drinks and service were outstanding. Main courses (lamb and short ribs) were quite expensive and quite tough and more fatty than we are used to for similar cuts of meat. Unfortunately we only got a few bites out of the entrees.
It’s a cool place and I would go back for the appetizers and cocktails for sure. But would hesitate to go back for dinner.
Excellent food and service.
Amazing food and a nice experience. Cant wait to go back.
Best Valentines Day dinner we have ever experienced. We will be visiting the Loft more frequently as the food was amazing. Worth every penny. Service was amazing as well. Best restaurant experience in Indy. We felt like royalty. This should be a bucket list for foodies. Lunch menu and brunch menu on Sundays. Healthy and delicious
Great atmosphere and the food and service are top notch.
One of our favorite places to eat recommend the cheese board!
Didn’t mind the set menu at all, though when I made the reservation on open table and when I got the email asking for confirmation we were coming, there was absolutely no mention about it being a set menu. I’m guessing there were many that were surprised when they showed up who’d made reservations through the app. I’m a frequent diner of dining places, and appreciate quality, even if sometimes that means less quantity. But the quantity of the food last night for the price was truly abysmal. Three oysters for an appetizer and what was listed as a 6 ounce lamb chop had maybe 2 to 3 ounces of meat and mostly bone. No sides at all came with it… Just a small dollop of lentils. No bread served with the meal. You had a choice of salad or one of the appetizers. So for $75 I had three oysters and about six bites of meat. The desert was adequate but couldn’t make up for the deficits in small portions of the meal. My date got the fillet and it at least came with mashed potatoes and a little pot of very blandly creamed spinach. Nothing was really seasoned at all. Disappointing.
And we sat on the deck which was warm except for our feet. The chill from the air coming up through the deck was pretty uncomfortable. Maybe they should’ve asked if we minded sitting out there since a lady in a dress with open toed heels might not be the best choice for out there.
The quality of the food was that of a $35 meal, not $200 for two people. For the same price, you can have much better meals at establishments like Flemings. This is the quality of food I’d expect at a wedding reception.
Food was excellent, harpist provided nice ambiance overall an excellent evening
They had a special Valentine’s Day menu on the 14th, the menu sounded good, but the food was very sub par and we paid $75 per person. It was the worst food we have had out in a long time, very disappointing.
Valentine’s Day dinner with wife. Our first time here and cannot wait time go back.
The kids love it. And it's always our go-to for a special occasion.
My visit to the Loft at Traders Point was not my first and won't be my last. I was celebrating a friend's birthday and was pleased at the reception I had. The salmon was great, as was the spinach salad (I was hoping for a little more power to the fennel). The cheese board was hit as always. Karen was superb as a 'hostess', making suggestions and keeping out larders full. It was a perfect birthday experience.
Wait staff was amazing. Server was great! Our food that was recommended was spot on. Always enjoyable experience when we eat there!
We were seated on the poorly insulated back porch overlooking the parking lot again. You can hear the traffic in here. Not sure how or who gets to eat in the main dining room which was mostly empty when we arrived with reservations. The food items for brunch were overly seasoned with salt the predominant seasoning. So much so that it was hard to eat. The quality has and is going downward there. They need to change things quickly or this could be another restaurant closing soon as well.
This restaurant is on the 'must visit' list for out of towners. Typically, I visit during the lunch time because the menu is slightly larger and lower cost, but the #1 reason to visit is the ice cream bar!
Loved this place!
Took advantage of Devour to have dinner at Traders Point Loft, food was excellent and I appreciated that we weren’t over served..portions were reasonable without being over the top. I had the salmon and my husband had the short rib, both delicious. My only complaint was that were seated next to the cheese cave and the bright led lighting spilled out on to the otherwise cozy dining area. They turned the lights down when I asked if they could.
The past three times our food has been cold
excellent food, great service, lovely atmosphere - definitely a place we will return again and again
We sat near the restroom so that was a bit distracting, but the tables for two are not abundant so ....
I had the scallops, a great dish with excellent flavor, but they were not delivered hot, but lukewarm. Our server, Karen said "oh they cool off quickly" and she said she would bring me some ice cream, not exactly what I thought was a great solution, take them back and heat them a bit. The hamburger was out of this world good, go for that! It will not disappoint. There was a duo for music and the volume was just right adding to the enjoyment of the evening. Overall a good experience.
The service and food was great! We sat at a small table in the corner that was a little wobbly. One of the diners sitting at a table across from us was a little loud, but they cannot help that.
Our waiter was noticeably flustered and our table felt he did not do a good job. When asked if we’ve been there before and we replied “no, we had not” he didn’t describe the menu, the venue or anything and just asked if we wanted anything to drink besides water. Then when our food came (which also was quite slow to come out) he incorrectly placed my mother’s order wrong (she ordered a beet salad but instead received a Harvest salad). We only found out after the fact as we would have sent it back but our mother didn’t want to embarrass the waiter.
Overall the ambience and food were good but the service was less then desirable.
Lot's of hype around this place, but left very disappointed. We had a reservation for 2 at 7:30 and weren't sat until 7:50. A three course meal with a decent salad to start, but it should never be the highlight of the meal. The short rib was unbelievably salty and more fat than meat. My date had a solid salmon, but nothing spectacular. The desserts were both dry and gritty. Was expecting a much better experience. The ambiance of the place was great and the musician was fantastic.
The Devour menu food was excellent!! We will definitely return!
