We had such an amazing date night at the Loft. It was a splurge for our budget, but so worth it. It was calm, quiet and peaceful, with a rustic elegance, and amazing, fresh food. We will definitely be back!!
Loved it! The wife & I try to eat all organic & clean foods & The Loft @ Traders Point delivers just that. Everything was prepared perfectly! We will be back & recommend others check them out.
The Loft restaurant at TPC is a great place to have farm-to-table meals.
The scones are usually very good but this time it appeared they didn’t rise properly and were very chewy. 3/4 of the table got the classic breakfast. While the eggs were good we each only got one small piece of toast that was rock hard and the bacon was very over done. One girl at our table asked for crispy bacon but the rest of us did not but we all got it. The potatoes are very bland and underwhelming. Drinks, service and ambiance were very good!
My wife said her meal was outstanding, but my rib eye was tough and seemed of poor quality. The service was mediocre at best, waitress didn't monitor our water levels or drink levels. We come here often and were shocked and disappointed this time. Not a quality dining experience.
We arrived at the restaurant; at our reservation time; and the host said he could not seat us because the were out of menu's (at that time the restaurant was not busy); so we waited 5 minutes for him to retrieve some menus from the tables.
Our waiter was outstanding; helpful in picking out choices etc.
But our food came out way to quickly. Honestly it was difficult to enjoy our evening; as our appetizers arrived within minutes of ordering; then our salads within minutes of that; and our main course arrived before we were half done with our salads. I did not even have time to order a second drink. Then he brought us our bill without even asking if we wanted deserts. I felt the entire experience was extremely rushed and was very disappointed in the service from that aspect. (And there were empty tables; so it was not as if they overbooked)
At the end we were getting ready to leave; we asked a passing wait staff if she would take a picture of us; she said "No" I am to busy and walked off......and I thought WOW; that was a first for me.
We have been there many times; that this last experience made extremely disappointed; and honestly there are a lot of restaurants with better service and attitude.
Met for brunch - first time eating here for any meal - everything was excellent. Will definitely be back!
Delicious with great atmosphere - great for lunch
Great waitress. Out of wine that I requested but recommended an alternate that was great. Very conscientious server.
A tremendous experience as always! The food was tremendous. We had the pork Osso Bucco and a Ribeye. The pork was perfect and the steak was the best in years. Our waiter Chad is one of the best ever. He made great recommendations and listened to our preferences which is a skill and then gave space to really enjoy. This is a special venue in Indy area and always enjoy it. Go here if you want to have a great meal and nice experience.
Amazing place, great service, delicious food & great jazz music.
We had a great time at The Loft as always. Delicious food, lovely ambience, beautiful setting!
Great brunch selections. We had quiche and shrimp and grits. Delicious!
This was our first time having brunch here and we really enjoyed it. The atmosphere is great (we sat inside). I had the crepes and my husband had shrimp and grits and we both enjoyed our meals. Also very accommodating with kids!
Outstanding food, atmosphere and service. Consistently a gem.
Truly farm fresh food! Love that it is not loud inside even with vaulted ceilings. Highly recommend!
I feel like while the food is good it is over priced
We had a wonderful brunch at The Loft. The quiche was enormous, loaded with vegetables, and delicious. The eggs Benedict was absolutely perfect. The chicken and waffles was a bit dry. The service was terrific and the ambiance great. There are high ceilings and tables are spaced out, so we felt comfortable during these covid times.
Tonight was the first night they had duck on the menu. Server described its flavor profile in detail and accurately. It was a homerun. Service was strong from host and all servers. Luxurious feel in an upscale, rural, farm-to-table setting. Will continue returning for special occasions.
Great all around! The only reason for not giving five stars all around is due to an issue with staff who dropped off our cheese plate. When it was delivered, they accidentally knocked a hunk of cheese on the floor. The person said, “Well at least you have a few more pieces on here!” No apology, no offer to get us another piece. It was bizarre.
Other than that, all was good. We will be back, just hopefully next time we will get all that we paid for, lol.
Good is very good but a little pricey. Our server was ok- I expected a little more for the money.
I’ve always felt like book ahead reservations should always have great seats . However we sat basically at the entrance of the loft .
I also informed the restaurant that it was our anniversary ( hello ) give us good seats !
I typically love the loft . Decorations weren’t as great as previous years .
Overall I hated where we sat and my food was mediocre.
Dinner at Traders Point Creamery on New Years Eve has become a tradition, a celebration of the past in the very quaint surroundings of the farm, and anticipation of all the good to come in a new year starting with the nutrition and nourishment of an awesome dinner. Our server Sage was so friendly, knowledgeable, helpful, and above all - delightful. The supporting staff was genuinely happy to see us and thankful for our choice to celebrate the occasion with them. An overall 5 star experience.
I was really disappointed that they had a special menu for New Year’s Eve ,that was very small and you could not order off of the regular menu, service was excellent! I Believe there were only four dinner items to choose from
Amazing service and food! All had lobster bisque for app, and I had scallops with lobster tail entree and it was excellent! Other 2 diners had prime rib and said it was very good. This place is pricey but worth it for special occasions ! We go 2-3 times a year and have never been disappointed!
We absolutely love the Traders Point restaurant and staff. We love the atmosphere and the food and drinks are delicious.
Food good. Service ok. Noise levels high in outer room. Lots of kids equaled too much noise.
It was wonderful celebrating my birthday at the Loft. Everyone was so attentive and food was excellent. Thank you
The hostess never spoke a word to us and never smiled. Sat us with 3 elderly outside on back porch where draft coming from floor and very dreary. The waitress was better but did not speak clearly or direct enough to understand.
The food quality doesn't match the price tag. Price tag is related to restaurant ambience if that is what you are looking for.
Incredible Osso Bucco - I even dreamt about it that night after eating it!
Beautiful venue, fabulous service, comfort farm to table food
Chicken and waffles delicious. Eggs benedict horrible. Muffin not cooked and the entire was cold. Potatoes cold and greasy, egg cold, bread not toasted, not good.
Our waiter was training someone, our food was dropped off at the table and they passed multiple times to get to another table and never checked on us. We flagged and I mean with a napkin flagged him down, to ask for salt pepper, tell him about the experience. Very nice, but not trained well at all. This place is absolutely beautiful, the staff is very kind, but our one entire was bad and so was the service.
Loved it. Farm to table and beautiful tree
Food was overpriced. Service was terrible. When we complained, the general manager 'wagged her finger' in our face. Would never return.
Love how nice the staff was!
First of all let me say this is a lovely restaurant which was beautifully decorated for Christmas. We had a 7 o’clock reservation but the restaurant was so full they weren’t sure where to put us. They ended up creating a lovely spot in a cozy area for us. Now, the food and value thereof. We chose the bone marrow as an appetizer, and were slightly surprised to find that our $18 got us 2 halves of a 5” long bone with a very small amount of fat/marrow to dip the bread in. The server successfully upsold us on more bread which as it turned out was not needed because we had some left over. The beet salad at $15 was minute but quite delicious, and the osso bucco was also delicious but pricey at $38 with no accompaniments. The server again upsold us by recommending a “smoother” bourbon than the one in the featured cocktail which turned out to be $2 more, bringing it to a $18 cocktail. (We were also charged $3 for the extra bread with the marrow). Total bill $185 for two with a $55 bottle of wine (and sharing all items) not including tip.
Looking back at this review I would say be prepared to spend some big money and be upsold on some items.
Good food but not a good value. Will probably come twice a year: once in the summer to dine outdoors and once during Christmas to enjoy the ambiance.
Not the best experience I have had at The Loft, disappointing.
