Typically the food here is outstanding but I recently dined with my wife and two friends and left a little disappointed. The cheese board lacked any bit of creativity found at other high end Indianapolis restaurants. The finishing touches on several dishes that make them taste special were also forgotten—bad day for the kitchen I guess. The mint chocolate chip ice cream was freezer burned (for a place known for its dairy and ice cream I can make better at home or buy better from Kroger).

The restaurant was not especially busy but the service was really bad. We literally had to flag our waiter down each time we wanted something.

Fortunately our company was great!

Beet salad was excellent and the Walleye was really good but slightly over cooked.

Will probably wait another year before I try it again given the portions are always small and the price is high.

Incredible food. Started with the cheese board - an assortment of their farm-made cheeses, accompanied by a fresh fig jam that was truly the star - not too sweet, not too tart. Each of the four of us chose a different entree, and they were all perfectly cooked - pork tenderloin, walleye, scallops, and filet. Accompaniments were delicious. The waiter suggested the macaroni and cheese for a side, and it did not disappoint. Their signature dessert of ice cream with toffee and caramel sauce was a bit hit with the kids.

The best service we have experienced at any dining facility. Allen and our waitress provided exceptional service with careful detailed explanations of the variety of cheeses from our cheese board (highly recommend from the appetizer menu), milkshakes, ice creams, and food items from the menu. Organic support for local vendors is important to us so we were delighted all food ingredients are sourced from local famers and vendors. Our new number 1 favorite place to visit in town.

Great food, exceptional quality for food and service. Décor is wonderful. Beautiful florals, grounds and comfort.

10/10!!

Had brunch for first time, been there for dinner several times. The menu choices were good, plenty of savory and sweet options. The French toast was amazing, eggs Benedict too...and of course the in-house cheese board is always a great way to start any meal...including brunch!!

I’ve eaten at Trader’s Point Creamery in the past and it was great. However this meal was mediocre at best. I ordered the Risotto with the egg. A little bland and it came out warm not hot. I ordered the mac and cheese, and it didn’t have any cheese. It was just noodles and bread topping, not cheesy at all. I sent it back for mashed potatoes and that dish was tasty. My daughter ordered the scallops. They were small but tasty. The puree was great also. I’ll visit the establishment again in the future and will assess again. Service was good, they politely apologized for the mac and cheese.

The Loft porch is my happy place. Candace was a great waitress-very attentive and knowledgeable. The food as always was delicious- I had the Chlaquiles Verde, it was the perfect size, and my husband had a burger with the herbed fromage blanc, which he loved. The cold brew coffee is wonderful. Our table mates commented on how good their burger was, and also the Mac and cheese. We love Traders Point and will surely be back before the end of summer to enjoy that amazing porch!

Came here for an anniversary dinner. The food was outstanding. Service was excellent. We ate outside, and it was certainly cool enough. There was a campfire on the patio, and the smoke kept the bugs away without being overpowering.

My wife and I shared an appetizer, had an alcoholic beverage each, an entree each, and shared a dessert. Bill was ~$150. It was honestly worth it all to not have anything about our special occasion meal to even NITPICK.

We strolled around the grounds a bit afterward, saw some of the dairy cows, peeked into their event space. It's just a peaceful location and a well-maintained operation. Highly recommend.

P.S. This was the first time I'd ever had properly cooked scallops, and I was *blown away* by how good they were.

P.P.S. We've been here for brunch, too. The Farmer's Grits was possibly the best breakfast I've ever had.

We lucked out having a beautiful weather day for a lunch on the screened in porch. The service was great. Our waters and teas were never empty! We tried the cheese board which is a great way to taste what we wanted to buy from the store. We then walked the property to take in all the gardens and unique spaces. Lovely place for a lot of reasons.

Very interesting place. Good food and great service. Emphasis on organic foods from the dairy and farm. Top quality effort in terms of food and service.

We took home some ice cream from the store to eat later - some of the best we’ve ever had with “homemade” taste. I’ll bet all the dairy products are very good. We’re going to try some more soon.

Our waitress was excellent in every way.

I don’t think I’ve ever enjoyed every bite of food while eating out quite like this place. Grits that didn’t require any additional anything. Burger that was seasoned and cooked perfectly. Found an amazing beer I’ll be special ordering. Ready for the topper... everything was local as far as the food and everything even the beer was organic. It’s a must try place!

This is always a lovely, quaint place to dine. The setting is serene. The food is usually always delicious & interesting. Tonight it took a long time for us to get our food. It wouldn't have been a big deal if we'd ordered a starter but we were wanting that elaborate of a meal. But after waiting 45 min for our food we wished we had. It came out hot but seemed a little over done. I had the walleye with spaetzle. The fish was just on the verge of being over done but some of the spaetzle was dry & chewy but there wasn't that much of it & I was so hungry by that point there was no use complaining. My husband had the hamburger, which he's gotten before. It was good but also, one the verge of being over done. Also the bun was toasted almost to the point of being burnt. However, everything was still pretty tasty & considering that out of the handful of times we've been there & everything has always been excellent, I will not let this keep me from going back.

Great food in a super cute atmosphere! Love that the restaurant is located on the working dairy farm, definitely try the cheese board appetizer, it’s the best way to sample the homemade cheeses. The chefs special was amazing, braised pork with a tart cherry sauce over pan seared chanterelles! Have to get a homemade ice cream dessert, we shared the sundae, it was delicious! They had live music in the main restaurant so we opted to sit outside I. The screened porch area, although they also have an open air outdoor patio. The barn building is super cute and authentic, the grounds are beautiful including the pen of milking cows! Great find!
