    Waited 22 minutes for water! The food I wanted wasn’t being served that night from the menu. Rhe waiter went to double check and ask. Manager came to the table and said sorry, can’t make the steak you want. When the waiter came back he never asked what my husband wanted instead. Never got bread. Asked for a 2nd beer, that didn’t come. It was terrible!

    This was our first visit to The Lodge, but it will not be our last. Everything was amazing, including our Server, Tori. Even the personal care shown by the management was exceptional. They take the number one spot on my recommendation list.

    Food was good, small buffet but great options. The service for Fathers Day was very slow. By the time I received my hot tea it was lukewarm warm.

    This was our 2nd time at the Lodge & despite not loving it the 1st time, we wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt sice they were new the 1st time we went. This 2nd time was for Fathers Day brunch. They seemed to be completely ill equipped to serve the amt of people there for a buffet only meal. We had a reservation & when we got there the hostesses had a big debate about where to seat us because of a big spill on the floor in the middle of the dining room. Rather than get a mop, they left a huge puddle on the floor the entire time we were there. Apparently they didn't even have a mop? bc at one point a busboy attempted to clean the floor from a 2nd spill with dish rags, lol. They had 1 person making fresh waffles who could never catch up to the demand. The server was nice but seemed overwhelmed when all she had to serve was drinks & clear dirty dishes. The price was pretty expensive and for a party of 4, they added an 18% service fee and a 3% credit card processing on top of that. Over $200 for brunch for 2 adults and 2 kids with no alcohol and average food....was not worth it.

    Phenomenal overall experience. Great location and parking. Food was outstanding, had a salad with shrimp and my friend had the french onion soup. They bring you warm, cheddar and old bay biscuits and I’m really not a fan of old bay. Our server, frankly, the best part of the whole experience, mentioned it to the chef and darn if they didn’t bring some out freshly made without old bay!! If you’re lucky enough, Torrie will end up at your table with her smile, genuine care, and refreshing quick wit. Torrie made our lunch experience one that I would rate as above and beyond, somewhat of a rarity nowadays. Highly recommend, I’ll definitely be returning.

    Everyone in our party liked the food we ordered. We were welcomed warmly by the manager. The atmosphere was nice. It was a really slow night. However, that should have worked in our favor. We had a long wait for our food orders to arrive, and while warm, it wasn't hot. So, I conclude that the waitstaff wasn't attentive. It was also fairly cold in the dining room, so that didn't help, and we mentioned the temperature to the manager when he showed us to the table. We'll try it again, but hope the details begin to matter.

    We were seated at 7:40 PM, but our server didn’t come to take our drink order until 8:00 PM. By 8:15 PM, we still hadn’t received our drinks, so I went to find a manager. Our drinks finally arrived around 8:25 PM. At that point, we placed our food orders—two of us chose the Mother’s Day surf and turf special. Around 8:45 PM, our server returned to let us know they were out of the special and handed us menus to choose new items. At 8:55 PM, the manager stopped by to inform us that they were also out of the crab meat needed for the Chesapeake pasta. Our food finally arrived at 9:20 PM. Unfortunately, three of the dishes were barely warm, with only the pasta dish served hot. It seemed as if the food had been sitting under a heat lamp for a while before being brought to the table. The only highlight of the meal was the peanut butter pie, which was excellent. However, our server was extremely slow, rarely checked on us, and appeared visibly shaky, which was concerning. While I understand that holidays can affect service quality and menu availability, this overall experience was truly disappointing. Though the manager did apply a discount to our bill, it still felt like we paid too much for such a poor dining experience.

    we had a beautiful Mother’s Day dinner here at this restaurant. The food was great. The service was excellent and the ambience is very beautiful. I would definitely recommend it.

    We were seated right on our reservation time. Amanda, our server, was exceptional through the meal. She explained the menu and specials and took our drink order. Both the wife and I ordered the Mother's Day special. My main entree was the surf and turf while the wife ordered the short rib ragu. She keeps a gluten free diet, and she asked Amanda if the Ragu was gluten free. Unfortunately, the wife thought that only the sauce for the Ragu contained gluten and went ahead and ordered the ragu. The salads were very large and tasty. It was when our main entrees appeared that we realized that the Ragu was a pasta dish and not gluten free at all. We admitted that the mistake was ours and not the server. The management team were apologetic even though it was our fault. My wife received filet mignon, asparagus and potatos dish that was fantastic. My meal was also very good and perfectly cooked. Management did not charge us for the ragu or the replacement meal as they apologized for taking too long to provide the replacement meal. We were impressed with the professional and classy way we were treated by the staff and management. Great experience!
