   Lovely food, value for money, friendly staff. Really enjoyed our weekend at Port avadie.

   My daughter thought it could do with some background music however I on the other hand like the peace & quiet and being able to have a chat. We could not fault the service we received from the staff who were lovely & friendly

   Waiters were so friendly and helpful. Our food really was the absolute best, the chef is superb. I have dined in Gordon Ramsey’s restaurant before and our meal was on a par with that. Cannot say enough about how tender our beef was, potato silky smooth and veg so so tasty. Starter and Desert was also top notch. We will be back and hopefully the same chef will be cooking!    This a great place for a relaxed meal. The menu is small but full of favourites, will definitely eat here again when up at Portavadie next time.

    I was very disappointed indeed . It was my birthday and my meal arrived 10 minutes after my family / friends received there’s . There was also a problem with the bill which included items we did not have . Very disappointing and spoilt the night . Mary McKenzie
