The Locksbrook is the perfect venue for a relaxed evening of good food and drinks with friendly service - we very much enjoyed our visit as always.
Myself and my partner visited The Locksbrook Inn on 23/06 for an evening meal and it’s safe to say we will definitely be returning. Such lovely staff and a very impressive menu, the food was literally perfect. Thank you for a lovely evening.
Great food and super service yet again. Thank you for a lovely evening.
A beautiful roast, one of the best in Bath. Great service and price!
Starters were good, main meal disappointing, had ran out of some products, different menu given than was on the website. Limited choice
Staff wasn’t that talkative didn’t feel welcome spoke to a chef outside and he was so lovely and the food was amazing for the kids and the roast was nice would go for the food again if the staff was more welcoming
The waitress service very good, however we did have to wait an hour and a half before we got our mains and watching other people who sat down afterwards get there meals before was annoying. At the beginning our drinks took a long time and the service manager came over and explained the pads that were in use had not saved our order and she would give us discount which was very good of her. When we got our bill at the end the discount hadn’t been calculated and we had to ask o out it (which isn’t something that made me feel comfortable) However there was no fuss and money was deducted, food very good value, toilets very clean and generally lovely feel to the pub.
Nice vibe, varied menu, good food - family and dog friendly.
Had a lovely time service was excellent. Thank you
A warm & friendly welcome. Prompt and attentive service and great fish n chips!
Lovely pub by the river, really good food and good drinks menu.
My Husband had a roast, I had fish & Chips both were delicious.. Staff went above & beyond will definitely be returning
Really tasty Sunday roast, few drinks and a lovely catch up with friends!
Service was fantastic, we had a really attentive server! Can't wait to return!
This was our first visit dining in The Locksbrook Inn and the food was AMAZING! Excellent covid safety measures and service from the staff. Overall the atmosphere was brilliant! We will definitely visit again :-)
Fantastic venue well situated by the river, great garden and really helpful staff.
Limited menu, but plentiful and well cooked. Drinks delivered in an odd fashion because slightly unusual order. Pleasant and helpful staff throughout
Food was excellent. But Waited an hour for it
Lovely squid ,service a little haphazard but nothing serious ,glad we ate outside under cover as inside looks pretty bleak but it is being refurbished so all in all not bad
I always enjoy a meal here. Location is great with a large covered outdoor area and large airy indoor dining room. Very good service, good pub food.
Great food and service, a bit pricey for what we had, very noisy due to a barking dog but would definitely visit agai
The pub is nice but was under going some refurbishment work when we visited. Sunday dinner underwhelming. Tepid food and roast potatoes tasted reheated. ? More staff needed
The food was slightly cold but otherwise it was a great evening!
Great staff... great food...always a pleasure visiting
Amazing food ( the Rum, Lime & Min Cheesecake was insane!!) but the service was a little slow.
Visited here for the first time on Sunday 6th June and will most certainly return. The service was brilliant, social distancing rules in place and adhered to and the food was delicious. Thank you.
Stunning location and a service team that makes you feel very welcome
Friendly staff & great service (especially as they were busy), thank you.
Great food and good service in a beautiful garden.
I always enjoy the Locksbrook. It has a fabulous garden area by the river. I’ve always had good food and friendly service.
Really easy experience, checking in, ordering, paying etc.
Lovely breakfast, great coffee.
Good food, friendly efficient service. I would thoroughly recommend.
My daughters fish stew was cold and had to be sent back to the kitchen. My wife had the fish and chips and not all the chips were well cooked. I had the schnitzel which was excellent. We had the Veg platter as a starter which was lovely. Overall I was dis appointed this time as we have many meals with you in the past, which have been delightful. I would think twice before ordering the stew or the fish and chips again.
We ordered a smoothy for our daughter which never arrived, I enquired about it twice and each time was told that they would look into it and get back too us, but nobody ever did and when we got the bill we had been charged for the smoothy, they did take it off without hesitation when it was ponted out that we never received it. The food was really good and the staff was very friendly but there was more staff outside than in and it was difficult to get sombodys attention. Othere wise I would definitely go again.
Service was not great food missing when it was put on our table and nearly finished the meal when it turned up
Lovely lunch - very good pub food! Great location by the canal as well.
Food pretty standard, but tasteless
Ambience was the best thing about pub
Pitty we asked for drinks that had run out
Staff were busy and helpful
Young lad that served us was very polite
Food tasted ok but wasn't exactly hot. Also no explanation on how the meat is cooked
Food was pretty good although we had to wait for quite a while, seems like they need to get back to full ems wing post lock down. Staff very friendly and the facility was full of character. Overall not a bad experience.
Dreadful. I’d never go back. Service was awful. Waited ages for drinks and food. Food arrived but waited another 10 minutes for cutlery.
Lovely Sunday roast, very good staff. Weather to match!
