The Local Oak is a neighborhood restaurant and bar establishment that fuses the mouth-watering taste of American bar food with your all-time favorite comfort food! The restaurant space is in a completely renovated 1920s building with a mid-century modern façade. The interior includes the original weathered hardwood floor. Even the pinewood paneling was repurposed for the bar ceiling, creating a warm and friendly atmosphere.

                                                                                                                                We visited during brunch on Father's Day. We were seated immediately upon arrival. Our waitress was very attentive and the food was awesome! OMG to the Bucket of Love! Addiction is an understatement.

                                                                                                                                My family met here for my mother's 74th birthday lunch. Local Oak is wonderful...we had the best time. I loved the atmosphere and service! The menu served on Sunday was for "Blunch" - loved it! Their version of chicken fried steak is so good, and my kids even asked for more food! We all had their choco pie - I need that recipe, for sure. This place is our new favorite in Bishop Arts for meeting up with friends or family. Can't wait to go back at night soon. Really delightful.

                                                                                                                                The Bucket O' Love is a must try! Everything on the menu sounds delicious and everything that we ordered was perfection. Our waitress recommended the Wild Orchid and the entire table tried it - twice! I will definitely be visiting this place again.
