Beautiful restaurant. Delicious food. Very pricey however.
The food and service are impeccable and the restaurant is gorgeous and has a great vibe!
Amazing customer service, cool ambiance to the restaurant, great food. A little pricey but it depends on what you order. I will def come back
Great night !!!
I LOVE THIS PLACE !! The atmosphere is unmatched, beautiful decor and seating and very lovely )
This is one of the place that everybody should go delicious food, great service and very good wine lists.. Recomendado..💯
Chef Riley is the best!
From the moment we entered everyone was so welcoming. Service was impeccable without hovering. The food was fabulous. The music didn’t need to be as loud as it was. It was a lovely evening.
Great experience - can highly recommend.
Beautiful Restourant and good quality food that’s why I give it 2 stars. We asked a waitress to help us place the order for six people and she did , the appetizers were brought to the table one by one not always having enough for each of the guest to try but many varieties . Following Appetizers $400 24 pc sushi plate were brought to our table alone with some sushi rolls , at the same time they dumped a $245 porter house steak , it was ridiculous , we asked to take the steak back so we could enjoy sushi but it was brought out again in a few minutes cold and chewy alone with another main course whole lobster we couldn’t enjoy neither sushi or a steak or a lobster at this point . Our dining experience was ruined by Restourant rushing food and the amount of food that were suggested, our bill was $1575+ for six people with 2 or less rounds of drinks. Bottom line it’s not worth the money spent for the rushed meal in a half empty restaurant on the Saturday night ,I guess that’s why it’s half empty
Did not find the food pleasing. The striped bass had no flavor was fried to
Ambiente raffinato e personale molto professionale,
I think it went well...
Is extremely expensive for the food you receive, the place is really nice, but they charge everything.
My first visit and I was totally impressed. I cannot wait to return and bring friends. Please keep it up. Happy Holidays Barney
Service is absolutely amazing! Food spectacular! Great atmosphere!! Everything is super fresh!!
Everything was perfect!
Great dim sum and sushi, and the wine list is probably one of the best in town.
The food is so interesting and delicious. The vibe is incredible. I highly suggest the wok lobster and the hand rolls and cut rolls are amazing. Service attentive but not annoying. Beautiful space. Great for a date or business meal.
We had such a wonderful pre-theater dinner at the Lobster Club. Rick was our waiter, he was extremely attentive and did a wonderful job! When we come back to NYC we will definitely be making a stop at the Lobster Club again!
Extremely pricey with good (but not great food) and without any pizzazz.
Pricey, so it’s not a place you would go regularly, but the food is really tasty and the service is great too.
The teppanyaki and wasabi lobster appetizer are reason enough to break the bank for this outstanding restaurant. Great cocktails, too.
Dinner - 3 couples very good friends - and ALL 6 of us are foodies.
We live in Westchester and try to get into the city every other month for a nice dinner and fun evening.
I entertained clients @Lobster Club back in August and loved the food and whole experience so I knew I needed to bring our crew here.
I was concerned that the “vibe” would be different on a weekend night vs. weekday since you lose the area business men and women.
I was very pleasantly pleased that, although the bar was quiet compared to weeknights, the vibe was great !
Food amazing!! You pay for it ... but it’s totally worth it.
Our waiter Rick was extremely knowledgeable, personable, and attentive without being overbearing.
Great experience!
The lobster roll surf and turf is amazing
Never disappoints. Food was delicious!!
Delicious food and attentive service. Lovely overall dining experience. Will be back!
Service was bad, extremely noisy, outrageously expensive for the smallest sushi roll that wasn’t fresh and seemed premade. Came in a bento box that looked like a clay flower pot. The waiter gave no explanation, and we were expecting the rest of the food to come. However, 40 min sites into the meal, a busboy happened to notice us and showed us that the rest of the meal was underneath. The waiter new we had never been there before and didn’t bother to show us how to reveal the food that was sitting there the whole time. The food quality was underwhelming, a shock for the price tag. This was a birthday lunch, for which I was very embarrassed. I won’t recommend or return.
Went for lunch with a friend and ordered a shared appetizer and Bento-Boxes. Bento-Boxes came out first followed five minutes later by the appetizer. Upon inquiring, waiter notified us that dishes come out when ready (thank goodness we hadn't ordered dessert!), which is fine, but then why call it an appetizer? We dined at 1pm and were more or less rushed out at 2:30. Excellent scallops, though.
Very cool midtown space with a great vibe. Great sushi and delicious cocktails. Service was also on point. It’s simply getting frustrating that a good meal in an upscale joint now costs $200/head.
Three strikes and your out....
This was my 3rd meal at the Lobster club, and once again I left with same opinion which is what prompted my writing my review. The food was wildly over-priced, dinner for two with no alcohol was just shy of $500....l what did we have 4 appetizers, lobster dumplings (average lobster inside the dumplings was cold), beef short rib (meat was tough and very chewy), coconut shrimp (best of the three but not memorable for the price) and some charred shishito peppers that were not charred.
Sushi was for the most part flavorless ( tuna sushi $8 a piece had no flavor and the Chu toro $14 a piece was flavorless. The special waygu A5 and Lobster roll ($40) was an odd tasting combination that should not be on the menu, it tasted disgusting. One standout was the Haikado Uni which was very good.
Service started out fine, but took almost 30 minutes to get a check and only after we asked two different busboys for a check, our server who never brought us a check went MIA for the last half of the meal, while he socialized with regulars at a few of the tables and ignored the rest of the patrons.
I don’t often write negative reviews but given this was my third try and one of my dinners was a party of 6 for work all with similar results...I give up and wouldn’t go back.....there are so many great Sushi restaurants in NYC save your money and pick one of the others like Sushi Ann or 15 East where the food quality is amazing and the service is impeccable.....
Great except the glasses of wine were so small - like a taste for an outrageous price. Still one of my favorite places in NYC!!
We have lunch here almost once a week...that's my review!!
Very good Japanese Restaurant
Small is what describes the liquor pour, food servings but definitely not the price. Ridiculously expensive for what you get. Portions so small we left hungry after paying $300 per couple. Restaurant was empty. Predict they will be out of business in less than 6 months.
Just a wonderful concept and filled with the right kind of surprises .... it is a big room ... and in a sense a big “bar room” ... so its scale
Makes it inherently lively and perhaps noisy ... and the music is more than background and depending on the programming .. and be
A bit much .... on the other hand. The food is brilliant and our service experience was even better than the food ...
Incredible food. Service was awesome.
Hip happenings place to enjoy exotic sushi in an exotic environment
Excellent creative selection of dishes and friendly service.
