Tge service was terrific. Those that had bottomless mimosas never saw the bottom of their glass! The food came out quickly. The food was good, nive presentations, but we all complained that everything was underseasoned. And we seldom add salt to anything, until today!
Some food was good, some poor. Ambience was aimed at young party crowd.
We had friends in from out of town, had never been here and got recommended to try it. Ordered 3 beer towers and it took 25 minutes to get the drinks. We tried to talk to the “manager” and he was rude, making excuses and being defensive. Yes it was st. Patty’s day but there was no one else in the restaurant area, 3 people at the bar and the patio wasn’t full. Just left unsatisfied and angry for the poor service and being treated with disrespect. I guess I’m still upset- hence the review. Happy hour food was delicious though.
We had a 6 pm reservation on a Friday night - we beat the crowd! I have trouble hearing in many bar settings as the music is too loud and then the crowd talks over it but when the music was turned up our server graciously had it turned back down (again, it was early and there were very few people at 6:00 pm) Try the $12.00 drink pitchers (if you have a DD). We sampled the Mojito and the Margarita - yum!!!
I ordered a mimosa and the bartender served me one and as I took a drink I noticed that it was a bottomless one, given the fact that I was driving I told her I just wanted a single one. She very rudely grabbed my glass, grabbed a smaller glass and poured the mimosa into the smaller glass and dumped out the rest into the sink and then went to adjust my bill. She was clearly annoyed but maybe should have asked which size I wanted in the first place.
Our waitress was also very rude. She threatened to take our table away from us and make 6 of us sit at a four top when our other two guests were running late. Our table ordered and everyone received their food except for me. It took another 20 minutes befor mine came out and everyone else was finished eating.
The food was ok, over cooked shrimp that I would have overlooked if the experience was better. The plus is that we were able to reserve a table for 8 for a Sunday brunch. However with all the choices downtown has to offer I will not return.
The food was good. I was disappointed that their restaurant week menu didn’t include any of their burgers which they’re known for. The restaurant was dirty too! The bathrooms had no soap and trash was overflowing. The menus needed a wipe down as well. The food was tasty though! Service was barely there, took a while to get drinks even though it was dead.
It was warm enough to enjoy bottomless mimosas outside and even though there was only one waitress out on the patio during a busy brunch, she was very friendly and attentive the whole time. As always, delicious food too! My favorite brunch spot!
Staff was super friendly and the restaurant itself had a fun vibe (the patio is adorable, and surprisingly quiet given the traffic around it). We went for restaurant week and while some of the dishes were total hits (the pastrami egg rolls and the stems and seeds salad were delicious), most of the food was under-seasoned or didn't quite hit the mark. Felt like we paid way too much for what we got. I feel like there's a lot of potential here, but it's just not quite there yet.

Great service, but the food was mediocre. I have a varied palate and am not afraid to try anything once, but I wouldn't eat the Lobby's food twice if I had to. The menu for Denver Restaurant Week seemed pretty interesting and inspired, but in the end the food was bland and just not very good. The waitress and staff were superb, attentive, and friendly, so your experience in that manner will be positive.
This was probably the worst experience we've had in a long time. I don't know if the server was hungover, sleep walking, or just stoned out of his mind. He couldn't remember drinks, our orders, or anyone else around our table orders. They tried to save the experience by sending in another server (she was great but too late). How they let this guy continue to keep working is beyond me. The manager either was clueless or just didn't care. You'd think after 3 tables had complained you'd figure it out. Next time we'll find a better place to go.
Worst dining experience we’ve had since living in Denver. From first course to last, it took two hours to get all of our food. Service was the slowest service I’ve ever received, and the restaurant wasn’t even busy. The restaurant week menu was not up to date and did not list that the rabbit medallions were wrapped in bacon. They came out wrapped in UNCOOKED bacon. My boyfriend was not able to even eat his meal. Poor experience all around.
We went to the Lobby for brunch yesterday for the first time and completely fell in love! Jaime was a our server and she is FANTASTIC! She gave great suggestions and told us about a few other fun spots around that we could check out after brunch. Definitely check this place out, the food it great, excellent service and I didn't see the bottom of my mimosa glass until I was on my way out the door! <3 that!
Came here for restaurant week. Vegetarian options on the menu were fried and just not very good. Everything was fried. The best part of the meal were the drinks. Also, it was super loud because of a wedding reception downstairs. The service was also subpar - our server didn't even know we were there until we flagged down ANOTHER server to help. Will not go back.

We visited The Lobby for Denver Restaurant week and it was a WONDERFUL experience! The brussel sprouts are a MUST - so crispy and deliciously flavored - and are a happy hour special as well. We tried the rabbit dish, which was new, and the meat was perfectly moist and delicious. Beer cheese soup was also great. There was a noisy party at the bar but the manager very respectfully asked them to tone it down and the group complied. Our server, Molly, was also fantastic, knowledgeable, and open to feedback (particularly for the newer dishes). We highly recommend if you are looking for a date night or gathering of friends!
They were super busy but made sure to take good care of us. Great hospitality. Will return.
Amazing time! It was crazy packed but thanks to our reservation, we didn't wait long. It was super busy and we had to remind our wait staff about items we requested. However, we had an amazing time and the food was so delicious and filling!
This was the best burger I've had in my life. I had the el Diablo and loaded mashed. AMAZING. Our waitress didn't check on us too much but that's ok, the food was worth it. And they have all day brunch and mimosas towers.....LOVED it.

My wife and I had an appointment in the neighborhood, so we stopped by The Lobby early for Happy Hour and again later for dinner. During Happy Hour we shared a cheeseburger and pulled pork sandwich, both of which were good and inexpensive. The pricing of their food is not bad at all. The drinks, on the other hand, are pricey. They do have a few unique beers and a limited selection of handcrafted cocktails, but I can list off half-a-dozen places in the downtown Denver area where you can get similar drinks for less. We left and returned about two hours later for dinner. We shared the Southwestern Chicken Cobb Salad as an appetizer. I ordered the Venison & Bleu Cheese Grits and my wife ordered the Beer Belly (confit hop-cured pork belly over mashed potatoes). Both meals were well portioned and delicious - we ended up taking some home because of what we ate during Happy Hour. The service was pretty good as well. The Lobby has an outdoor dining area that looks like it would be great in the summer, almost like dining in someones backyard. In any case, I'm not sure that I would make this place a regular stop, but it would be good for the occasional visit.
Our server was friendly but he disappeared for a long time. It would have been to have our drinks replenished in a more timely fashion. When our food was delivered all 4 of our meals were barely warm. They only had 4 tables filled the entire time we were there, seems the opportunity for good service was missed entirely.
Energetic doesn't describe the LOUD noise level; extremely difficult to carry on a conversation with friends. This is not a place for a quiet evening meal. Our waiter, on his third day on the job, was extremely helpful and courteous. The menu held some great surprises, especially appetizers, although the green chili could have been hotter (temperature, served tepid). The flour tortillas were not soft, but burned. Nice room, lots of character.
The team was extremely generous in finding space for my party of 8 after OpenTable changed my reservation from Sunday to Tuesday. After that, however, things went south. Our server had the worst attitude I've seen in a while, rolling her eyes at every question we asked, and having little to no patience to accommodate our simple questions. When I asked to get a refill of my bottomless drink she very curtly responded with "yeah, I can see it's empty". When she wanted to refill our mimosa tower, she grabbed a half-finished jug of mimosa from a table that just left and poured it into ours. That's filthy. When it came to paying, she generously offered to split checks. We only received 6/8 checks, and two of them were overcharged. When she tried to fix it, we still only had 7/8 checks, because she had lost one of the ones she originally gave us.
Also, the food was not good. My burrito was basically stuffed with 1 egg and little else. The burger was burnt to a crisp, dry as a bone.
Overall, not a good experience. The management team is very friendly and generous, but that's where the pros stop.

While the mimosas were fine, the rest of our girls brunch experience at The Lobby was not so great. We were sat at a table 20 minutes after our reservation time — apparently they needed time to push two tables together for a party of 5 despite the fact when we were finally seated the entire lower level dining area was open. We ordered the deviled egg appetizer — awful! When our entrees arrived — at varying times — half were barely warm and at least two of us had undercooked eggs. Two of us also had to wait another 5 minutes for our side items to arrive. We asked for jam for our toast and were instead brought some sort of weird jam looking hot sauce that tasted awful. I doubt we will ever come back...or if we do, we’ll eat elsewhere and swing by for mimosas.
Server was a space cadet. Inattentive. Couldn’t charge the correct items.

We were one of only 3 tables. Our service was great. The food was good but not what I would consider outstanding. The soup could use some salt. The steak was cooked perfect but the potatoes it sat upon were bland and the cheese sauce very limited. Will try again for brunch as we have heard great things.
Our first time at Lobby, and it was very disappointing. Despite there being plenty of room on the main floor, my girlfriend and I were seated in the lower level room. This room has none of the charming ambiance found on the main floor. I felt like we were put away in a dark corner. Further, the food was highly disappointing. The plates were sad and small, despite paying a high price for each dish. My girlfriends stuffed burger was over cooked and piled with romaine and a vinaigrette. It looked as bad as it tasted. To save our poor experience, the manager came by with a round of drinks. This was a nice thought, but it wasn’t enough to bring me back in the future.

Catching breakfast before our flight back home. Should have ate in the airport. Service was awful. Food was mediocre, and cold. The French Toast was super super sweet, I could only eat three slices. Even the butter was sweet as well as the candied nuts were also over the top. My significant other had the Eggs Benedict - it was also cold, and tasted of mustard. Which was odd.
I am a small business owner and set up my staff's Christmas Party at the Lobby. It was fantastic! The food was great, service was courteous and prompt. Food tasted amazing! Definitely recommend this place for parties, dinner, drinks!
The food was great. Fun place, but at least for Saturday brunch it was CRAZY loud. There was a big group next to us, and we could barely hear. Hopefully a one-off experience.
We went on Thursday and were worried that it may be really busy because of the holiday, however it was not. Our waitress was also the bar tender and the only waitress on duty, however she was very attentive and gave great options for the meals. The food was amazing and feeling. My friend got the roasted tomato and pesto sandwich on ciabatta bread. She loved it. I had the macroni and cheese and made it veg-head. It was DELICIOUS! I love this place and will keep bringing people here.
