Poor attention to guests. No one served us water and we got up and left after 15 min of waiting. Food choices were poor. Bad experience never comin back. Poor hospitality.
It was closed Monday!
Lovely! The servers were attentive & sweet. The decor was gorgeous
Our "waitress" (older short hair) never once waited on us. We got waters from a bus boy right away, got one drink then waited an hour to be able to order our food. She went to tables around us but never to us. Never refilled our water in the 98 degree weather. We just wanted to leave and never return. The only reason we even got our food was because we asked another person, he may have been another bus boy. She never even asked how the one drink we had was or how the burger was. She took the plate without asking if we wanted a box, I only had half because I wanted to just get out of there. Was planning on eating the rest later but not a single word from her as she ripped it off the table. She is awful, we'll never be back.
The food wasn’t great.
Everything should be great but it's a below average experience. I've gone twice and the female waitress in particular is ornery, rude and abrupt. It's the first time in many years I've given a low tip. The food is average. I asked her what kind of vodka they had and she said "Titos." and then stared at me without saying anything else as I waited for the rest of the list. So I said, "that's it?". Her: "Yeah." OK. So the Ace hotel only carries one vodka, Titos??? She's so rude and she's always rude. I didn't even finish my drink.
It’s a small lunch menu but everything was delicious and the ambience was great.
It was ok. The patio is cute but think they need more heating lamps.
Great, relaxing ambiance. I was able to sit outside and it was very calm. The drinks were good and the service was great.
They allowed me to make a reservation but it was closed which is misleading
Service was aggressively inattentive. Manager was yelling at servers to enforce social distancing, which he did not do himself and did not matter because so few people were there.
The setup here is not well thought out. More of a bar than a restaurant doesn’t even have a formal host stand. Everyone was standing around not sure where to go to be seated. Service by our waiter was terrible. Barely uttered two words the entire night and seemed EXTREMELY rushed. Also seemed crabby. Food was alright. Burger was cooked well but the bun had a bad cakey texture. Pizza dough was good but the cheese threw it way off
Walking in the ambience was unimpressed! I’ve walked by the Ace hotel many times and was excited to eat there! The food was bar food & nothing special! The waiter was so lacking in personality.
The drinks were $14, but they were very low ABV & small cups with lots of ice. The ambiance felt like a little bit nicer cafeteria. I did not have any food, but I wouldn't go back.
Service was outstanding, we had a great waitress with perfect suggestions. Drinks were spot on! The outdoor patio is lacking ambiance, didn’t even feel setup nicely, just thrown together. The fire pits weren’t on like they usually are, and a couple had a dog that was barking the entire time. Very distracting.
We were the only group. All the other customers appeared to be on dates, so I’d say it’s great for dates. Our server was excellent, the drinks and the food was expensive for the quality and quantity but both were tasty.
No host, place was extremely empty, it almost looked closed. Only 1 bartender working. Paper menus, didn’t get food but menu listed grilled cheese, Caesar salad, tomato soup (seemed very basic). My $15 glass of wine tasted like cheap $5 wine, no flavor. Sat outside and the fire pits were nice, but no follow up service. Won’t be back.
The host was very welcoming and friendly. Our server, Joy was very knowledgeable and attentive. The manager, Jorge even stopped by our table to check-in on us and the food and cocktails were to die for. I’ll definitely be back!
Really terrible service. Couldn’t even try the food because our waiter never came back to our table to take our order.
Quick 21st birthday drink!!!
We were overcharged once on our bill because the waiter messed up our drink order and brought over a drink that we didn’t order and charged us for it. We were also double charged for fries.
Perfect for a hotel bar to go for a quick bite and/ or drinks! Chic, fun vibe!
Everything was very delicious and overall great experience
Amazing. The Manager Jorge was actually our server because they were short stuffed this evening. He suggested the best food and wines. Great experience
Had a great time. Our server was Joy and she was amazing! The outdoor space was nice. Spread out. Fire pits. Good vibes.
When we got there our table wasn't ready we had to wait about 20 min on the sidewalk but the staff was so sweet. They gave us prosecco and as soon as we sat down they brought us a complimentary appetizer that was amazing and then surprised us with a complimentary Key lime tart that was outstanding!
Bummer it closed. Small but varied menu well-executed.
Made a reservation for 4 for outdoor seating. When we all arrived, we were told they had nothing available outside (even though we had our OpenTable reservation). We were told we could sit inside, but refused. We agreed to wait for a table to open up and were luckily seated 15 min later. Once we were seated the food and service were fine, but it was really disappointing to reserve an outdoor table and arrive to be asked to sit inside during a pandemic. This was a first time attempting to dine "out" with friends and I hesitate to reserve here again.
I ordered the burger, it wasn't seasoned and the fries were hard!! I did not want to bother with sending food back as there was a time limit on the table. But the ambiance was nice and service was good.
We’ve always liked City Mouse, but this time the waiter asked my date to put her mask back on while he took the order. She’s Chinese. This is ok. What is NOT ok is that he did not ask me to do it. Nor did he ask others around us (mostly caucasians). I am Asian also but “brown”. This was very insensitive, and why enforce the rules on one and not others around you.
While I loved their outdoor dining space, I was disappointed by both the service level and the food. Food was somewhat mediocre, thus, price felt overpriced.
Such a nice place to have a brunch w friends
Food lacked depth of flavor - especially with ingredients that typically has depth. Server seems impatient.
I’m in my 60’s and this seemed like a restaurant for people younger than me. Didn’t like wine selection but the rigatoni was some of the best I’ve ever had.
Had reservations and they seated us 20 minutes after our reservation time. Service was awful but the ambiance and vibes were good. Drinks were yummy but wouldn’t recommend if you’re on a tight time schedule.
Food and Drinks were great, along with excellent service. Also they have a great outdoor seating area with an awesome fire pit.
Their food quality is decent! Service 0! Once we got there we were told that we would have to leave within 60 to 90 minutes! This should have been disclosed upon my confirmation. I even had called them to confirm my reservation and they said nothing About that.
Our server was inattentive and absent. I understand that it’s COVID but I think it’s still appropriate to check in on how your guests are doing, especially refilling their water. Wings and burger was good but the seared chicken was honestly awful; it had the texture of fish which is extremely unsettling. Was the chicken sous vided for too long? I did not spend $24 for an entree I could’ve made better at home. Drinks were good tho
Below average — wanted to try something new in Fulton Market. Feels like a WeWork food court. There are many better options.
The fire pits will help as it starts to get colder and people want to eat outside.
