Herb Crusted Rack of Lamb
Fava bean pesto, fava bean gremolata, sprouted broccoli rabe, squash
Pomme dauphine, sautéed shitake, creamed spinach, bordelaise
Grilled Portuguese Octopus
Pork chouriço, garlic aioli, chervil, panisse, citrus purée, smoked sabayon pickled mustard seed
Parker rolls and oysters were amazing. The porter house steak and filet were great as were the Pomme dauphine. But the rest of the sides were a little tortured and over cooked.
Not sure about this one. Food was little heavy, over salted and just so so. We wont be back. Wanted to try it,loved the atmosphere. Service was just ok too.Hope they get a better chef.
Luticia was the best! Thank you:)
Haven’t been here since pandemic
The food was excellent and so was the service. We had a minor issue with an order being overcooked and they resolved immediately, barely missing a beat in our meal.
We will definitely go back!
Iconic L.A. eatery which definitely lives up to their reputation (not all do). Ambiance, while dated, is charming, welcoming, warm and delightful. Attentive, professional, friendly service. Well presented/prepared food. We ordered oysters to start and Couscous Royale as our shared entree. The oysters were fresh, plump and briny accompanied by a rose mignonette. Perfect. The main, with its promise of a diverse selection of lamb, did not disappoint (except for the superfluous, tasteless chicken leg). We will return.
Main course food was a bit over salted. Apps and Desserts were delicious
My husband and I went for our anniversary, and it was quite an experience. We ordered 4 dishes, each so delicious and full of flavor. The host and waitress were attentive. Appreciated the valet and were seated right away. The ambiance was incredible and so romantic. It was a very lovely experience. Will return again soon!
Super cute! Good food! Great service!
Very minimal entree offerings. Would not recommend the shrimp or house salad
Ambiance was what pushed the higher rating. Food was good, but nothing overwhelmingly unique. Service was a little lackluster and slow even though they told us we had an hour and 45 min time limit. Seemed like our server was far more attentive to his larger tables... makes sense. Overall, it was an enjoyable yet overly expensive experience.
The service this night was very poor. The server ignored us for long periods. The side vegetables were brought out with the bread. The main dishes did not show up for 45 minutes! By then the vegetables were cold. When we were done, we had to ask for the check after a long delay, and then another long delay before someone picked up the credit card, and then only because we asked someone to take care of it. The food was delicious and the venue is beautiful but most of the 2 1/2 hours we were there we were just sitting and waiting for someone to notice what was needed.
Great place for a date night
It was great. Ambiance was great, the decor was so cute. Our sever was awesome. A great night overall. Nothing bad to say about this establishment. I would recommend the mousse cake for dessert. So yummy !
Christoph was amazing, made some great recommendations and was so nice. What a wonderful fellow, and such a great place.
I was there for girls night and glad that we picked out this place! The appetizers were fresh and tasty. However, the entrees are average. The desserts were nice too!
The only thing better than the near perfectly executed delicious food was the unparalleled service and magical atmosphere little door is truly a treasure .... sssh don’t tell anyone
Food wasn’t as great as I remembered it but the atmosphere made up for it
Ambiance is cozy and quaint with absolutely beautiful setting. The food did not match the level of ambiance and so I was slightly disappointed. If food was better than I would definitely come back.
I loved the cozy elegant atmosphere of this restaurant. The Mezze Platter & lamb stew with coccus served in a Moroccan tagine was so delicious!
Delicious meal and beautiful ambiance. Great service as well
While the food was a little over priced, the service ,ambience and overall experience was great. It's a perfect place for romantic dates.
Great place. The food was good the service is ok.
Impeccable service, food, presentation and ambience as always. Love their creative door partitions between tables! The Little Door continues to be one of my favorite restaurants in LA.
The atmosphere is beautiful and the wait staff very good but the food was not as we remember nor were the menu options. We used to really enjoy this restaurant. For three people, two sharing food, with three drinks the cost was close to $300 with tip. Quite pricy really.
There are not many places in my opinion that measure up to the Little Door. The ambience is spectacular, the service is wonderful and the food is absolutely superb!
Absolutely loved it. You are completely transported upon walking inside. Can’t wait to go back!
Loved the place. Very cozy and pleasant. The food was delicious
It was a delightful experience! The ambiance, service and food were top notch! We felt like we were on a vacation! We shared the 16 oz rib eye and a bunchbof appetizers. Don't miss the parkerhouse rolls!!!!
The Little Door is one of my favorite restaurants in LA! I recently dined there for my second time and my experience was even better than the first! Our server, Sean, was fantastic! Our cocktails, appetizers, entrèes and dessert were fabulous. The ambiance of the restaurant is spectacular, I love it. It's a great restaurant for date night or if your parents are in town!
A tad too loud. The wine and food were fine. Thank you.
Beautiful dining experience, for my wife’s birthday! Sat in the court yard, everything was excellent
Place is so beautiful and cozy, great place to celebrate my birthday! Finished my dinner and left my backpack in the restaurant call them up and their found my backpack hold in safety place. Thank you thank you!!!
The server did not come and check on us very often.
However was very pleasant and we will be back.
Food is always great, service is meh! Waiter seemed like he was doing me a favor!
The place is beautiful. Food was delicious and service outstanding. Will be coming back for sure.
Excellent food and good service. The disappointment was that we were seated at the very back of the restaurant where it was so dark that we had to use our phone flashlights to see the food that we were served. The rest of the restaurant has such a lovely outdoor area but we were told that there was no room to sit there.
Great food and great service! I don’t type essays but I eat good and this place is legit
We had an isolated table outside which was surrounded so well that it felt like our own private dining room. Service was excellent. The food is always superb. It was wonderful to be back again after not having eaten there in so long.
Service was great!! All the waiters were extremely well trained and very courteous. Food /drink and music were all perfect and the ambiance definitely teleported you out of LA. Will come back for the dessert we didnt have room for!
