   Pretty setting but loud booming music with interferes with beautiful of setting and any attempt at a romantic evening. The food lack’s attention. Both my wife and I had the lamb which was fatty, greasy and lacking in flavor. We than had cheese plates that had no creativity, especially considering the farmers market is down the street. The cheeses were of common variety and 2 tasted like refrigerated items! Overall experience at $250 was very disappointing!

    In LA from Palm Springs for a couple of days and booked a table at The Little Door on the recommendation of friends. We loved it - a late Sunday evening, so the place was quiet - a really helpful and friendly server, wonderful food - overall, a great experience - we’ll definitely return!

    Our waitress barely came over to see how we were doing and came over at the very end of the meal after paying to say “I heard we had a birthday, happy birthday to whoever??” Pretty rude, it would have been better to say nothing at all. The bus boy gave us more energy, he was very nice. Our drinks were great and appetizers were very good. One of our mains was undercooked but they replaced it for us. No suggestion for dessert and the vibes were weird so we left. Another thing is that the bathroom is right in front of the kitchen so people were constantly almost bumping into the bathroom line. Not terrible but probably won’t be going back.

    Wonderful spot for a romantic dinner. The food here is phenomenal. Always has been. Tuna tartare was a favorite for us. Octopus as well. The filet was perfect. Wasn’t a fan of the cocktail menu but they had a great wine list.

    Hands down food was awesome! Highlights were the seabass, persimmon/burrata apps and shrimp! However, knowing how we dined just the two of us, it’s a little disappointing how they charged for LA’s living wage on top of “automatic” 20% gratuity. I would understand if we went with at least a group of 5, but automatic 20% gratuity is just a bit much for a diner for two.

    This is a wonderful spot! The only drawback is the noise level. It is an expensive place but the quality is outstanding! The hard surfaces make it noisy, but the atmosphere is so festive.

    This was my second visit to The Little Door and it did not disappoint. I would make one suggestion: for parties like ours that want to chat, could you turn down the music a bit. A little background music adds great ambiance; too much is just noise that you have to shout over.

    Went in for a friday night date - no special occasion but definitely a nicer restaurant than what we usually do - and it went great! Staff was very kind and attentive. GF had the lamb and I had the filet mignon. She liked the lamb but we both loved the filet mignon. We're a younger couple (early 20's) and we actually really liked the music and ambiance. Felt upbeat but ageless in a really nice way. I personally dislike when places try really hard to be trendy or hip.

    Wonderful service and beautiful ambience for one of our last dinners in LA (for now). We were in no rush and never felt hurried as we enjoyed a drink (Grandfather and Seasonal Rhubarb) and the Winter Salad to start. The salad is definitely large enough to share for two! For dinner, we had the Seared Seabass with a side of Mushrooms and the Filet Mignon (rare) with a side of Grilled Asparagus. Everything was prepared to perfection and highly recommended! Overall I can highly recommend The Little Door!!

    My partner and I usually love this place! The service and food is usually amazing! It took them almost 20 mins just to get to our drink order, and almost 40 mins for our food order to come out! The food is usually amazing, but every dish we ordered was extremely salty. We loved this place for the  ambience and the consistency of the delicious food! Unfortunately sad to say our experience was not good this time around!

    Our experience was horrible she ordered the lamb well done I ordered the ribeye medium well the severe came out with two lamb chops one medium one well done he took both plates back to the kitchen to figure out what went wrong with the order I ask him to leave her meal he didn’t he brought her plate back after coming to the conclusion the waiter put in the wrong order she put in two orders of lamb chops she was so nonchalant about her mistake she never apologized took any responsibility she was very unprofessional I ask for the manager spoke with him he apologized we came to the conclusion I’d just order another steak they brought back her lamb chops but they gave he the medium well instead of the well done one so we had to send that back the time now is 7:55 pm we’re sitting at the table with no food approximately 20 minutes later are food comes I tasted the Ribeye and it was very bland no seasoning at all the couple next to us ordered the same Ribeye for there her meal so l asked her her opinion of hers just to compare the two plates she used the term it tasted neutral she would never order it again

    Just took a flyer on this place hoping that it would be as good as the photos on Open Table, it was better! We will definitely be back every time we travel to LA.
