The Little Dipper's menu consists of premium meats, fresh seafood, vegetables and homemade sauces for dipping. Dip organic bread into hot melted cheddar cheese with beer, garlic and spices, prepared tableside by your server. Indulge in blackened filet with a warm au pouivre, sashimi grade tuna dipped in Asian ginger sauce or shrimp drenched in wasabi lime aioli. For dessert don't pass up strawberries dipped in milk chocolate, or bananas dipped in warm dark chocolate blended with smooth peanut butter.

The dining environment is casual and hip with bright colors and rich cherry wood. Each table is handmade with built-in electric burners where the guests cook together in one common fondue pot. The Little Dipper offers a variety of fondue with a great atmosphere found in downtown Wilmington. I would recommend this restaurant to those interested in a cozy setting who are looking for fun and good food.

Went with a group of girlfriends for Galentine’s Day. The service was incredible, the food was delicious, and the Valentine’s prix fixe menu was beautiful & affordable. (The dessert course came with a glass of champagne, which I thought was a nice touch.) I would absolutely go back for another prix fixe situation. Or just dinner. The weekly specials are fantastic.

Our family had the best time at Little Dipper. We took our son there to celebrate his 20th birthday. Our server helped make it a very special celebration for us. Highly recommend.

The food was great however our table was not ready when we got there. We waited a solid 10-15 minutes only to be sat by the bar. Our server seemed to be having an off night as he seemed bothered by everything we asked him. Overall a little frustrating for a restaurant we made a reservation at.

My husband and I went to celebrate our anniversary. We enjoyed the time between courses for conversation. The waitress was very helpful in making recommendations and helping guide through the menu. It was very enjoyable. We highly recommend Little Dipper for anyone who enjoys a quiet dinner with a good atmosphere and being able to eat without feeling rushed as that’s the whole point.

We have tried the other big chain fondue restaurants, and I must say the little dipper is better in food options and in cost. They have more unique options of different dippers, cooking styles and cheeses. Not to mention the various fondue desert types. This is now one of me and my wifes' favorite date night places to go to. I would recommend reservations otherwise you may have a decent wait time.
