The Little Beet Table - Chicago
Everything was excellent. I would definitely go again.
Very good, healthy fresh food
Excellent drinks too
Fantastic 100% gluten free dining.
The service started off wonderfully, we put our appetizer in right after we sat down and it came out within minutes. Once we were ready to order drinks and entrees, the waiter was nowhere to be seen. A woman, who looked to be the manager, came over (I assume she overheard us curiously wondering where our waiter was) and took our drink and entree orders. Twenty minutes later, we're still waiting for our drinks. Our waiter comes over and says she (the manager) must have forgotten. Not that we needed anything comp'd, but the manager shouldn't have gotten involved if she was going to delay the arrival of what we ordered.
The food was good, but I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.
So good. Hard to find a restaurant dedicated to provided a variety of gluten free options.
Very good food and entire menu is gluten free which is great to know
We found this place on a list of vegetarian friendly restaurants in Chicago. The food was wonderfully prepared and the ambiance was relaxing but energetic. Our server Jacob, was extremely attentive and his assistant Daniel cleared the plates immediately with a helpful and cheerful spirit. The entire experience was refreshing and fulfilling. We recommend the short rib, salmon and jerk chicken as entrees and the guacamole, butternut squash and hummus as apps. We will definitely return!
Such tasty dishes. Nice small menu. Waitress seemed to really enjoy her customers.
Plus nice smaller size place. Short walk off miracle mile.
Wonderful gluten free meal and excellent service by Anna!
We should have mentioned up front but the grass fed burger was terrible and cold.
Tiger prawn was just okay. Lacking flavor
Don’t understand why they would charge so much if food is not that great - really disappointed with the food
Wonderful for kids. Service was excellent.
Excellent place for people who can and cannot have gluten!
The food was absolutely amazing and the service was very friendly. For Chicago, it was also very affordable. They are 100% gluten free (if that’s important to you) and everything tasted incredibly fresh. This will become a regular stop for me.
The food was “ok” not really anything to write home about.
We had dinner with our daughter who has Celiac. We have all dined here before and will not hesitate to return. A primary reason for choosing the restaurant is because our daughter can eat there safely but it’s not our only option in Chicago. We choose it because the food is delicious. Favorites include the butternut squash soup, crispy spiraling rice, and chicken mole tostadas. This past visit we also had the rigatoni, beef short rib and the jerk chicken. All were delicious.
Food was okay but nothing was great or stood out. Cocktails were weak. The service was good and liked the decor
Food was not up to par this visit.
Healthy and delicious food. Drinks were balanced and priced right. Apple crumble was the best I’ve had.
I had been meaning to eat here since it’s just a few blocks from my apartment. My Dad and I ate here on a Sunday night after going to the movies. I figured it would please his “healthy” palate and my low carb diet. The menu was kind of small but seasonal. I really enjoyed everything I ate but wished the portions were larger. I would suggest the Beef entree which was excellent!
Most places that offer a veggie burger offer same kind of bland, average thing. This one was genuinely different and delicious.
I wasn't entirely taken with their activated charcoal lemonade, but the burger hit the spot!
We enjoyed the most amazing butternut squash soup which was perfect on a very cold day. Our server was wonderful as was the remainder of our experience.
Service was OK, long delays into between checking drink orders. Also the course took quite awhile to come out each time.
Food was tasty until my wife found that half her chicken was raw. The manger came over apologized and gave us free dessert in addition. He did give us the option of taking the entree off the bill, but we opted for the dessert instead.
Although this was the best experience, I would still recommend going her, as they promptly resolve any issue you have with your food.
First time at Little Beet; arrived early for our reservation and was seated right away. They were still offering the Valentine menu; I had the beet margarita, shrimp salad and salmon. The margarita was slightly earthy, very red and quite tasty. The salad with tiger shrimp was excellent. The salmon was cooked exactly the way I like it; crispy skin and flaky inside. The roasted radish garnish and cauliflower puree added a nice balance to the sweetness of the fish. Service was good, but I recognized she was covering several tables including a very large one. Ambiance was clean and bright. A little noisy for conversation, but not too bad. Overall I would recommend the restaurant to friends!
I love this restaurant. The food is outstanding and the entire menu is gluten free, so I’m not restricted at all in what I order, and every time the people with me thought the food was fantastic and not “gluten-free tasting” at all.
Overall, the food was good; however a tad over seasoned (i.e., a little salty).
Amazing gluten free experience
Was searching for a place with Gluten-Free options, and came across this fully-gluten-free restaurant. Good food, nice selection, pleasant server. Only thing was the coffee was lukewarm and "that must be the machine" wasn't a great excuse to me. But really enjoyed it. Casual and fun. Will definitely go back!
Great food, good service, nice atmosphere! Everything was fresh and tasty!
Great food, wonderful dinner. Lots of options; everyone could find a great choice on the menu.
Excellent food and service. My daughter has multiple food allergies and they went above and beyond to accommodate her. Had a wonderful conversation with the general manager.
The Little Beet Table makes the best butternut squash soup I've ever had!
My FAVORITE restaurant. You can’t even tell it’s gluten free. Great portion sizes too.
I love that everything is 100% certified gluten-free and they are extremely allergy conscious. Super supportive and empathetic staff!
We came for restraraunt week and had the best dinner! I loved the ambiance it’s a very cute place with excellent wait staff!! I would definitely come back!
My guest loved her sticky rice and carrots. I loved the butternut squash soup. The veggie burger was good but the bun was dry. I had carrot cake for dessert and ate only the frosting-adjacent part. It was cold and dry, which I reported to the waiter. He apologized but didn't offer a substitute. In a past visit I liked the brussel sprouts and would reorder those but skip any baked goods.
Cute decor, but music was a little loud. Didn’t love our dishes, though the hummus is very good. Recommend for a gluten-free option.
Food was delicious, service was timely and noise level was low so having table conversation was easy.
Salmon burger is really good. The roasted sweet potato side is a nice surprise and very delicious.
We loved our food and our server. She was fun and knew her menu. Her recommendations were spot on for all of us - a vegetarian, an omnivore and a gluten free eater. It sounds like a bad joke, but we were all full and happy when we left.
