The Little Beet Table - Chicago

Easter brunch (however they have brunch every Sunday). Delicious blueberry pancakes. Yummy clementine mimosa. Avocado toast good and the bacon rocks! Sadly out of the smoked salmon. Love that everything is gluten free; makes for easy eating out with those with celiac.
This is the best gluten free menu I've seen in Chicago. My girlfriend has Celiac so it's always hard to find good options for both of us to enjoy dinner, but little beet's 100% gf menu had loads of tasty sounding dishes. The bean burger and tacos we got were delicious and surprisingly filling.
The service was very good - friendly, informed, and helpful without being intrusive. The place is a little pricey, but it's absolutely worth it. Highly recommend this restaurant.
The food was amazing, and you HAVE to try the crispy rice. I almost got it for dessert in addition to a starter at our table. The only down fall was that the waiter did a terrible job splitting our bill (3 couples dined). After 2 attempts, we just each paid what was on our tab, and I know it was wrong but wasn't worth waiting another 15 minutes to try and get fixed correctly.
Had to take a friend who is vegetarian to dinner and was wowed by their take on seasoned staples like hummus or a broccoli pizza! I won’t give much away, you will not be disappointed with the range of flavor.
The beet mule is refreshing and could be a great summer cocktail. Portion sizes are generous.
So accommodating, we flight arrived late from Cleveland and raced to get there before kitchen closed and our waiter was AMAZING. - so kind and helpful and it was our friend’s birthday and he is celiac and was so happy he could eat and drink anything if you didn’t know it was gluten free you’d never know/care as all 5 dinners were awesome
Our waiter was very nice and the service was great. The food was also amazing, especially the appetizers.
Loved the bartenders! Our first time and we’ll definitely e back. Food and drink were wonderful!
Glad we found the Little Beet
Fresh and flavorful food
Stylish and comfortable setting
Nice, quality meal
This was a perfect spot for my best friends birthday outing as she has serious Gluten allergy. She was so excited she was able to order literally anything and know for sure she wouldn't have any risk of Gluten. The pork tacos and burger were fantastic. Don't skip on dessert either, the brownie sunday and chocolate chip cookies are amazing!
We had such a wonderful experience at The Little Beet Table. It’s such a joy to be able to actually eat pasta, bread, and cookies when I’m out and about! Thank you for a great date night!
Wonderful food & fantastic service!
Great gluten free food! Great fresh drinks in a cute space.
The quinoa veggie burger and sweet potatoes are fantastic! Already been making excuses to go back.
Second visit to The Little Beet and it won’t be the last! Flew in from Toronto for business and couldn’t have been happier with my second visit. The food snd creative menu is phenomenal. The flavoring can’t be matched and the variety for vegetarians is amazing. Highly recommend!
The food was exceptional! As someone with an extremely restrictive diet, it was such a game changer. I had to rethink the need to ask for a gluten free bun or pasta! It was amazing food, great service, and I can’t WAIT to go back!
Wonderful service, very accommodating of dietary needs.
Everything was excellent. I would definitely go again.
Very good, healthy fresh food
Excellent drinks too
Fantastic 100% gluten free dining.
The service started off wonderfully, we put our appetizer in right after we sat down and it came out within minutes. Once we were ready to order drinks and entrees, the waiter was nowhere to be seen. A woman, who looked to be the manager, came over (I assume she overheard us curiously wondering where our waiter was) and took our drink and entree orders. Twenty minutes later, we're still waiting for our drinks. Our waiter comes over and says she (the manager) must have forgotten. Not that we needed anything comp'd, but the manager shouldn't have gotten involved if she was going to delay the arrival of what we ordered.
The food was good, but I don't think I'll be coming back any time soon.
So good. Hard to find a restaurant dedicated to provided a variety of gluten free options.
Very good food and entire menu is gluten free which is great to know
We found this place on a list of vegetarian friendly restaurants in Chicago. The food was wonderfully prepared and the ambiance was relaxing but energetic. Our server Jacob, was extremely attentive and his assistant Daniel cleared the plates immediately with a helpful and cheerful spirit. The entire experience was refreshing and fulfilling. We recommend the short rib, salmon and jerk chicken as entrees and the guacamole, butternut squash and hummus as apps. We will definitely return!
Such tasty dishes. Nice small menu. Waitress seemed to really enjoy her customers.
Plus nice smaller size place. Short walk off miracle mile.
Wonderful gluten free meal and excellent service by Anna!
We should have mentioned up front but the grass fed burger was terrible and cold.
Tiger prawn was just okay. Lacking flavor
Don’t understand why they would charge so much if food is not that great - really disappointed with the food
Wonderful for kids. Service was excellent.
Excellent place for people who can and cannot have gluten!
The food was absolutely amazing and the service was very friendly. For Chicago, it was also very affordable. They are 100% gluten free (if that’s important to you) and everything tasted incredibly fresh. This will become a regular stop for me.
The food was “ok” not really anything to write home about.
We had dinner with our daughter who has Celiac. We have all dined here before and will not hesitate to return. A primary reason for choosing the restaurant is because our daughter can eat there safely but it’s not our only option in Chicago. We choose it because the food is delicious. Favorites include the butternut squash soup, crispy spiraling rice, and chicken mole tostadas. This past visit we also had the rigatoni, beef short rib and the jerk chicken. All were delicious.
Food was okay but nothing was great or stood out. Cocktails were weak. The service was good and liked the decor
Food was not up to par this visit.
Healthy and delicious food. Drinks were balanced and priced right. Apple crumble was the best I’ve had.
I had been meaning to eat here since it’s just a few blocks from my apartment. My Dad and I ate here on a Sunday night after going to the movies. I figured it would please his “healthy” palate and my low carb diet. The menu was kind of small but seasonal. I really enjoyed everything I ate but wished the portions were larger. I would suggest the Beef entree which was excellent!
Most places that offer a veggie burger offer same kind of bland, average thing. This one was genuinely different and delicious.
I wasn't entirely taken with their activated charcoal lemonade, but the burger hit the spot!
We enjoyed the most amazing butternut squash soup which was perfect on a very cold day. Our server was wonderful as was the remainder of our experience.
Service was OK, long delays into between checking drink orders. Also the course took quite awhile to come out each time.
Food was tasty until my wife found that half her chicken was raw. The manger came over apologized and gave us free dessert in addition. He did give us the option of taking the entree off the bill, but we opted for the dessert instead.
Although this was the best experience, I would still recommend going her, as they promptly resolve any issue you have with your food.
First time at Little Beet; arrived early for our reservation and was seated right away. They were still offering the Valentine menu; I had the beet margarita, shrimp salad and salmon. The margarita was slightly earthy, very red and quite tasty. The salad with tiger shrimp was excellent. The salmon was cooked exactly the way I like it; crispy skin and flaky inside. The roasted radish garnish and cauliflower puree added a nice balance to the sweetness of the fish. Service was good, but I recognized she was covering several tables including a very large one. Ambiance was clean and bright. A little noisy for conversation, but not too bad. Overall I would recommend the restaurant to friends!
