The Little Bastion Restaurant offers guests a feast of the senses. Accommodating a total of diners, the intimate atmosphere allows for a soft and warm feeling, leaving guests wanting to explore the intensity of flavours presented in each of the dishes on offer.

Drawing on its history, the restaurants’ gastronomical concept takes on the vast history of the Maltese Islands and takes you on a culinary journey across the world.

The menu, offered for breakfast and dinner includes contemporary Mediterranean dishes with a local touch and only using the finest local and seasonal produce and ingredients.

Dining al fresco is definitely the order of the day, especially in the warmer months, when the imposing bastions, the fortified city of Birgu, and the spectacular harbour are illuminated by traditional Festa firework displays.

                              Nice restaurant with very tasty well presented food. Nice location. Service was mixed, started badly by being welcomed, shown to a table then 'questioned' our reservation even though half empty all night! Waiters were not great - why clear plates after mains, but leave remaining vegetable dishes? Background music choice was bizarre, playing some tracks full of expletives which other guests with children commented on also. Fortunately the food is good, but they need to improve the experience.

                              The food here is exceptional we had pan fried scallops plus the sirloin and lamb, we have eaten in many restaurants on our travels in many countries but I must say this food is up there with the very best of them albeit a little quiet ( not the restaurants fault) we had a great experience - btw service was also excellent so thanks a lot for a great night

                              Perfection. The staff was incredible. Very professional welcoming. The ambience was lovely. And the food was incredible. Everything tasted fresh and the sirloin tasted amazing. Choose the dessert wisely wisely as they are all really well made and incredible and you wouldn't want to share!
