   I found the decor of the restaurant uninspiring (some sort of industrial style, no tablecloths, and uncomfortable chairs). The food was not very inspiring. Some of the dishes were good (the mackerel), others disappointing (the asparagus and lobster dishes were particularly lackluster). In general, the restaurant subscribes to the style of serving a menu consisting of many dishes (five to seven, though it used to be possible to have a 4-dish menu too), each of the size of a large bite, over the course of 3.5h circa. It feels very repetitious: a tiny dish, with a couple of emulsions on the side, and a reduced broth poured at service. It takes the joy out of eating. It's a pity, because the idea of revisiting Northern German classics had merit. If they just made a 3 course menu --- starter, main, dessert), with each dish of reasonable size for human consumption, around the 70-80 Euro mark, there would be some sense. Like this it's just a sterile showing off of the same skills and ideas repeated dish after dish. Overall, I found the food boring, the decor cold and impersonal, and the overall experience not worth its high price (about 180 Euro per person excluding wine).

   Das Essen ist hervorragend und sehr kreativ, ein Erlebnis. Die Bedienung ist aufmerksam und erklärt ausführlich. Leider war unser Tisch im vorderen Raum, der auch die Eingangstür enthält. Gäste kommen und gehen, werden am Desk begrüßt, gehen zum Klo, oder machen eine Raucherpause - das ließ bei uns leider keine wirkliche Gemütlichkeit aufkommen. Hinzu kam, dass einem an diesem zugegebenermaßen recht kalten Abend trotz voll aufgedrehter Heizkörper in den Räumen in Abendgarderobe fröstelte. Daher von uns keine uneingeschränkte Empfehlung.

   Amazing food offering nuanced takes on Northern German cuisine accompanied by carefully curated wines. Very nice, cozy atmosphere with superb service. Will be back.

   Wieder ein tolles Erlebnis, André Stolle hat wirklich viele Ideen. Das Menü war komplett neu und winterlich inspiriert. Die Vorspeisen hervorragend, der Hauptgang speziell, man muss Schwein mögen, was wir tun 😊 Lediglich der Hummer war zu intensiv und streng. Insgesamt aber für einen schönen Abend sehr zu empfehlen!

   Wir durften kurz vor Weihnachten im The Lisbeth einem wundervollen Abend verbringen. Es war ein toller Abend voller Genuss und tollem unaufgeregtem Service. Der Ansatz der Hamburger Renaissance wird toll umgesetzt und schwankt zwischen einer nordischen Klarheit und Hamburger Eleganz. Wir kommen gerne wieder!
