   The main course was lovely (roast beef) but the dessert was at best basic (jelly and fruit with canned custard and squirt cream in a ridiculous glass) A couple of the staff were very friendly and helpful, one was a bit surly. Overall I would go again

   Great pub in a lovely location. Food very good. And brilliant service at a reasonable price price

   Fantastic service. Lovely atmosphere and great location. Great selection for GF including GF fish and chips.

   Nice food. Sadly ran out of sea bass very early in the evening. Linguine wasn't fantastic, haddock was delicious though. Friendly service.

   When we eventually got seated we waited at least 15 mins until I had to get attention just for drinks and then at the same time we were asked if we were ready to order our meal. After another long wait we received our drinks. The Sunday roast its self was good and plenty full. We were asked if we would like a sweet menu after we finished our main, which we are still waiting for as the waitress never returned! We have been to the Lion a few times, but after this disappointing visit, we will not be returning.

   Pretty standard meal, nothing special and staff really show you they do not want to work there or be there. ON the plus side the restaurant is nice and big.

   We had been here before for a Sunday roast and really enjoyed it. Unfortunately this time wasn’t so good. The parsnips were undercooked, the pork belly was dry on the bottom with no crackling and there was hardly any gravy. The vegetable portions were smaller except for the carrots. The chicken was nice however. We did get more gravy and did tell the waitress and also when we paid both said they would tell the kitchen but offered nothing to compensate. So sadly I don’t think that we will be rushing back.

   Really great food so lovely and hot when it was a cold and wet winters night. Great staff very attentive we all had different starters and main courses no room left for a desert im afraid.

   My favourite Pub on the Broads. The Belly pork was the best I have ever had. Thank you. Excellent value for money.

    We would definitely recommend this pub restaurant. Staff were very pleasant. Setting was lovely. We booked for 5 people for 1.30pm on a Sunday late September and were seated inside. It wasn’t too busy which was nice as we could have conversations without having to shout over others voices. The food was quick and well prepared and presented. Great beer too! We would definitely recommend.
