A delightful hotel restaurant in a this special English rural setting on the River Teme. Thank you to the staff who provided an excellent service. Also to the chefs, the food for both dinner and breakfast was exceptional. And finally the room, nicely fitted with a quality selection of complimentary soft drinks. A very comfortable stay. Thank you

Four of us went for lunch. Sat upstairs, which was nice and quiet, and no through traffic. Food was excellent, generous portions. We had a really lovely meal. Thank you.

Lovely pub by river. Lots of choices as to where to eat. cream of mushroom soup was delicious. Fish pie good too though could have done with more sauce than potato. Traditional pub style menu - good quality.

Food looked better than it tasted. My children didn't enjoy the dry burger buns and soggy fries. The roast beef was chewy as though it had been under a heat lamp too long. Terrine starter was served straight from the fridge; should have been at room temperature to enhance flavour. Chips looked good but were dry and powdery. Probably the potato variety.

Lunch did not match the pub’s presentation, our food was a rather bland, uninspired, soggy affair and served lukewarm. Traditional pub grub - no focus on local or quality ingredients sadly. The staff were polite and responsive though. Outdoor setting is fab. The wood fired pizza (or main menu) could be a better choice.
