   The Linny continues to serve excellent food at a reasonable price. The service was first class and I would recommend their Sunday lunch

   It was a meal out gor my husbands 70th birthday with family. The staff were very friendly and accommodating. The service, food choice extensive and very good quality and well presented. The atmosphere was very good too. All in all we had a really good evening and will go back again.

   For many years, we have enjoyed Sunday lunches at The LINNY, where the consistently excellent roast lamb is a dish to die for. Recently, on a whim, my wife and I decided to visit for a mid-week evening meal. Booking was effortlessly done through Open Table, and although the restaurant was busy, considering it was a Wednesday night, we managed to find a suitable time for our visit. We enjoyed the Duck à la Orange and Beef Stroganoff, both dishes perfectly cooked and served promptly. The friendly service, which we have come to expect from The LINNY, was as outstanding as ever. We fully recommend this dining experience, whether you are a regular Sunday visitor or considering a spontaneous mid-week treat.

   On our several visits we have never been disappointed. The menus are excellent with a wide range of choices, nicely presented and hot where applicable. The tables are a basic lay out but serve their purpose although an adjustment in place settings might give it a better appearance but as stated is adequate as it is. The acoustics tend to make it noisy for those with deafness or with soft speech. Overall The Linny is at the top of our list of where to go for a good meal out.

   Good food and service, but getting on the expensive side. Did not appreciate 10% service charge being added and not asked if I was happy with this.

    Exceptional service, very fast for Easter Sunday. Delicious food, large portions and piping hot. Lovely home made desserts too. Had a memorable meal with family and will definitely come back again. We loved the ambience and the posh cutlery and white tablecloths too!
