Book your next event with us
You can always tell when a chef makes a meal that has very high quality when you have to eat it slowly. This is the kind of place you think about making reservations to come back before you leave. I'm glad I booked reservations a month and a half early for Valentine's day.
Food, service and ambiance were all wonderful. It was a great place to celebrate our special evening.
The only issue was listening to very loud voices in kitchen
Awful. I made a reservation for six months in advance. We got a table by the front door. 20 minutes to get our first drink. 60 minutes, not exaggerating, from putting in out order to getting our food. Food was good not great especially at those prices. Menu wasn’t great for selections. So disappointed. Sorry
The food was beautifully delicious! We expected to have a limited menu on Valentine’s Day, but was pleasantly surprised! I tried the Seafood Newburg which had a flaky crust & big pieces of seafood. The veggies could have been more tender, but the sauce made up for it! My husband ate the chicken pot pie as he does everywhere we go. Having tried numerous versions, he states the Lexington pot pie is best. Daughter had a chicken breast that was wolfed down so fast that I hardly even saw it.
Great food, service & ambiance. Would not hesitate to recommend for special occasion. Pricey
We had a lovely evening. Excellent food and service. We will definitely be back!!
After concert dinner with great food and service. With 1 salad, 1 soup and 1 dessert and 2 burgers, we were surprised the bill was $80. You get what you pay for with such good food.
Excellent food! We needed a small bite and our food was excellent! Our service was excellent! The experience was perfect!
We went for brunch and the food was amazing! The service was outstanding and the ambiance was lovely. Would recommend!
Amazing service and wonderful food. Would recommend for brunch.
Fantastic experience. Service was second to none and the ambiance is perfect for a 1st date, 100th date, dinner with friends, night out with family or anything else.
We had a beautiful evening celebrating my dad's 91st birthday. The Lex made our group feel very special. The food was delicious and service impeccable.
Great service, beautiful ambience and very good food
Every time we go we end up getting one of the chefs specials and we are never disappointed. The butternut squash soup was delicious, very flavorful and a tiny bit spicy, in a good way. We all ordered the chefs beef rib special with was marinated and slow roasted. The charcuterie appetizer was also exceptional. We did not have room for dessert unfortunately. Next time we will
Save room because the desserts looked amazing.
It was our first time there and was a outstanding experience . Shannon is a excellent server . She made us feel so comfortable. We cant wait to come back again . The food was great !!
Love the Lexington. From the pre-meal cocktail in the comfy bar to the attentive service of a perfectly prepared meal, everything was spot on. Thank you!!
Food was delicious and service was great
My sisters went for a night out end enjoyed appetizers, cocktails and dessert. Everything was delicious and beautiful presentation. Our waiter was charming and made great recommendations.
Our visit to The Lexington was outstanding. Our waiter Daniel made sure we had everything we needed and helped us with our menu choices. My sister, mom and I came out to celebrate my moms birthday and were so happy with the evening. We especially enjoyed the sweet onion bouillon soup and the celery Caesar salad to start the meal. The soup poured tableside is such a nice touch and makes eating it much more pleasant than boiling hot French onion soup with stringy cheeses on top to fight through. We shared the diver sea scallops and New York strip, both were prepared perfectly. The dishes here are all well seasoned with great flavors and interesting ingredient pairings. All of the wait staff were warm and friendly. The ambiance is like a step back in time to a traditional supper club. The live music from the room in the back was just enough to add to the night and didn’t effect our ability to have conversations. All of our expectations were exceeded in the attentiveness of the service and the quality of the food. I am so glad we chose to celebrate at The Lexington.
Service was remarkable! Cocktails were amazing and the steak Diane was the best meal we have had in a long time!
Excellent food quality and service. One of the best meals ever.
Lunch Friday and Saturday is quiet if you like less noise.
Great ambience and food! We loved the Sconnie Style Manhattan's!
It was my mom’s 85th birthday celebration. The menu had her name and birthday printed on the top. The waiter totally spoiled her.The food and atmosphere was outstanding. My mom was delighted!
Limited lunch menu but what we had was good. Prices high. $56 with tip, no drinks but had dessert. Noise level unacceptable considering how few were in the room.
I'd made a reservation well ahead of time, but we were seated in the bar - very close to another table.
The food was very disappointing - not what I had remembered from years ago. The expensive lemon cake tasted stale, had little lemon in it, and I don't think the frosting was made with butter. I am sorry to be so negative, but perhaps this will result in improvements.
We had a wonderful time and great food on an extremely cold night!
It was the depths of the Polar Vortex, but we three friends were determined to keep our reservation at The Lex. Although I'd enjoyed the dining room, the bar and awesome rooftop deck previously, they'd not visited the new incarnation.
We were not disappointed. While a little quieter than normal due to the weather (-20 when we arrived), everything what top notch. It's not a cheap date, but well worth it!
We celebrated a milestone birthday with family and the staff helped make it a very special and memorable occasion.
The Lexington is so beautiful and the food and drinks were delicious. Our server was a little odd and not overly friendly. The sommelier was very nice and chatted with us about our rosé.
Have enjoyed this restaurant in the past. Atmosphere is very nice and traditional. Food was good but service was slow due to server being extremely busy. We sat a long time after finishing our brunch. At that point we gave up on having dessert.
Still a good restaurant but most disappointing was when receiving the bill to see that they automatically add 3% for "the health and wellness of their employees which does not apply to a gratuity." We believe the Lex should be able to over the cost of the health of their employees. Have not seen this at any other restaurant.
We waited ten minutes to be seated and the restaurant had just opened. We even checked in with the hostess and still waited. No reason for that wait time. We ordered lemon cake and carrot cake to go - the lemon cake was so hard and so OLD. It just crumbled and was not fresh whatsoever.
It was hard and the piece was not even that big for $8. Super disappointed!! DO NOT RECOMMEND this restaurant at all! There was stuff in the window to the kitchen like an oily Saran Wrap box, dishes- just not presentable. There were 3 guys in the kitchen not wearing beard guards.
We had a fantastic evening celebrating our anniversary at The Lex! It was a memorable evening that began at the fun & frigid ice bar on the rooftop before dinner, followed by excellent service, delicious food, and delightful music in The Williamsburg Room. We loved the ambiance which was high energy and professional.
Great for sedate crowd for lunch on weekends
Elegant surroundings, bottomless mimosas at Saturday brunch, wonderful chicken pot pie, and tables far enough apart to enable good conversation!
Loved this place. We were in town for a business conference and our Uber driver suggested this place. It turned out to be one of the best places to celebrate my birthday with friends and family.
Birthday dinner was special, if expensive. The Lex recognizes birthdays nicely, with take-home “Happy Birthday” menu, photo, and sundae for desert. We loved our entrees, steak Diane and porcini crusted tenderloin. Shared the Lexington salad and asparagus as part of an $18.00 old timers upcharge. Good, warm dinner rolls. Friendly and competent service. Will go again, maybe for happy hour if it’s not a special occasion.
Love the supper club feel. We will be back again soon.
