We don't recommend a meal at Arlington Club, but it's a great spot for a fancy cocktail on the Upper East Side.
Overly priced tough steak, cold onion rings and surely manager
Claim they serve brunch on the menu on opentable but there was no Easter brunch to be had let alone a single egg option on the menu. Bartender can’t make a decent Bloody Mary to save his life. Meat and salads are good.
The change in ownership has not in any diminished the charm and quality of food and service.
Loved it when it was the Arlington Club. Really nothing has changed. The popovers are piping hot and yummy. The lobster sliders were just ok. The NY strip was very good and had the Truffle fries they were amazing. Did not have dessert was too full. The service was good. Overall a lovely evening.
Food was Ok, not great, and a bit overpriced. The gelato had a weird texture.

This was our first visit since it became the Lexington Club ( it used to be The Arlington Club) The food and service were wonderful. My only disappoint was that when it was the Arlington, the had filet mignon on the bone - my favorite. Now it is off.

Nice place and good food. The waiter was good as well. A good Resturant with a good selection on the menu.
New management is rude. Hostess argued with us when we asked to move tables saying the others were reserved. We had a reservation clearly and those tables were not filled till we were paying the check. I also do not appreciate being called “darling” or “sweetheart”, especially by a Middle aged man who doesn’t know me.
The wait staff was fantastic.
Bartender needs to learn how to make an apple martini.

I loved the Arlington Club and did not realize until recently that there was a change in ownership. I was pleasantly surprised that the menu was pretty consistent, monster sized home made warm popovers and all. Service was sill great, big tables far away so you can have an intimate conversation. Food is off the charts good - suitable for sharing. Highly recommended. Now only open for dinners. Will definitely go back again.

Everything would have been perfect but the manager/host wouldn't allow me to sit at two open tables by the bar because it was happy hour and he wanted us to pay full price. Made absolutely no sense!
I wanted to love this restaurant, unfortunately it took over 1 hour and 15 minutes to get our meal (from the time the order was placed), we actually never ended up receiving our meal, we walked out.

Steak is excellent! If you miss going to the Post House you should give this a try. Service was also spot on. A definite keeper if you like classic steakhouse.
I always enjoyed this restaurant when it was called the Arlington Club and the good food and service continues now that it is called the Lexington Club. The food is a bit pricey but portions are ample. (I usually end up taking home 1/2 of my entree.) The only real criticism I have is that it gets so noisy at prime times that it can make conversation difficult. I also wish they would serve lunch as the Arlington Club did.

It was our first time at this restaurant and what a find! The steaks and sides were delicious and the popovers were superb. The service was friendly and wonderful and the owner came over to introduce himself. What a special place!
This place is rebounding under new management. Thought service was very attentive and the owner/maitre D was excellent. Food was cooked perfectly. Very enjoyable. Went with the porter house for 2, which was excellent. Smashed potatoes also a must. Caesar salad good but standard. Previous visits had the Cote De Boef for 2 (i'd skip unless you know you like this cut) and Rib Eye for 1. Venue itself is excellent as usual and maintains classic steakhouse feel with an urban/historic edge to it.
Need to offer smaller cuts of steak (smallest filet was 12 oz), and some less expensive bottles of wine. We had a lovely waiter who suggested sharing different plates that were large, which worked out well.

I had made a reservation for 1 PM but got there early and was told they only open at 1. They would not allow me in at all. Once seated it seemed like they were not ready for customers yet.
The waitress ( who's name was Cat/ Kat?) was a gem! She had explained to my wife and teenage children what was different between the types of steaks. The steaks were just perfection! I have been to many steakhouses and this was the best steak I have ever had. The only problem with the meal was with the Hot popovers were cold inside. I think this was because they had just opened and they were leftovers from the day before.
Walter, Sean, was a little overbearing. Just too much. Also NY strip good piece of meat but way too salty. No mention of seasoning on menu. Mentioned this to waiter and he brought over the mgr who said next time to tell waiter no seasoning but there is no mention of seasoning on menu description. Also mgr actually took the shallot which was served with the steak and placed it on top of the steak and suggested I should have eaten it that way . R U kidding me. No one tells me how to eat when I order a steak that's what I want. I'll eat the shallot separately and use steak sauce if I choose. Last year same time was excellent which is why we went back this year. Was offered dessert on the house because of the experience which was a nice gesture but because of the name change I think something's up. Won't go back and I bet they're out of business next year.
Since the Arlington club changed to the Lexington Club, something is different. The service was exceptionally good, the food was better (they added some items like fish tacos which were great)!
The owner/manager came over and chatted & wanted to know if he could do anything for us.
I would highly recommend this restaurant.
The service from beginning to end was outstanding. Being welcomed by the owner - who stored out jackets and took us to our table- as well as the professional waitress was wonderful

Nice steakhouse look, comfortable atmosphere and Good Food. The Rib-eye for two was especially satisfying. Would go back there anytime. The service was attentive and helpful on menu fare. The desserts were creative and "just right". Nice find.

Been here 3 times in past few months. Great food. Great service. So nice to be in any space in NYC where the ceilings are 10-25 feet high. Have ordered a bunch of salads, apps and steaks and everything has been amazing. Want to become “regulars” here. I guess I just gotta keep going.
We stumbled upon Lexington Club on a recent trip to Manhattan. We were initially drawn to the restaurant for its decor/vibe for a special date night. Upon being seated in Henry's section, we were immediately impressed by his professionalism, knowledge of the menu and friendly disposition. The food was fantastic; we ordered the frito misto, filet mignon, smashed potatos, brussel sprouts and creme brule. We definitely have this on our list for future visits to the city and highly recommend Lexington Club to others! Ask for Henry - you won't be disappointed.
