   Disappointing visit compared to last time. Weather was beautiful so wanted to sit outside but there was a silly policy that there was no table ordering out there, even though there was table service. You need to find a solution to this team!

   Food was mostly ribeye steaks which everybody said were excellent On arrival we were told off for arriving 15 minutes late and that we were lucky the table was still available and this was not a good way to begin a dinner for 6 of us. Phil was in the kitchen and he never disappoints even adding little extras not on the menu .

   staff very good. food very good. the watercress that came with fillet steak almost non existence. it needed a nice green peppery hit also to brighten up the plate. sadly this minor fault happens at many restaurants. but we will return again.

   Food was good but I didn't like the veggies all being piled in one dish, iff you wanted carrots all the cabbage fell off

   We had a fantastic Sunday lunch at The Leicester Arms. We started with the pâté, which was beautifully presented and full of flavour. For the main, we went for the trio roast—each meat was cooked to perfection, and the accompaniments were just as delicious. The ambiance was warm and inviting, and the service was impeccable throughout. A thoroughly enjoyable experience from start to finish—highly recommended!

   Over salted soup, bland herb butter and poor fish and chips. Batter was burnt not golden, chips were oily and hard. Best bit was the minted peas. Disappointing and nowhere near the standard we've experienced here in the past. Just bland, unexciting, badly executed food this time.

    It was our first time visit to The Lesters Arms and we were not disappointed. The food was excellent, staff attentive, and the ambience just about right. We had some loud neighbours who obviously wanted to be heard, but the pub itself was superb. Will definitely return.
