Loved their outdoor space! Very covid friendly and great staff!
Excellent outdoor dining experience! Had a great table just outside entrance with overhead heaters (preferred over the bungalow tables, which felt a bit crowded on a weekend night). Very warm, friendly, & hospitable service from the host to server to GM! Great wines by-the-glass and cocktails. Fantastic, well-prepared dishes with fresh ingredients...enjoyed everything we had: great shishito peppers, very tasty deviled eggs, delicious cauliflower soup, & loved the tender flavorful duck confit! Creamy cheesecake was a fantastic finish to a yummy meal!
Had dinner at the Leroy House and got seated outside. They really made an effort to keep social distancing rule by having plexi glass in between tables.
The food was pretty good. I loved my cauliflower soup and fettuccine cacio e’ Pepe. Both were delicious. We
Also ordered the duck confit but that was just ok.
For drinks, I had the hot toddy, it was good but too tart for me.
Overall, I would recommend the Leroy House. Good food and good service so you can’t go wrong.
It was fantastic!!
Food was amazing!!
The ambiance of their outdoor structure is one of the best I’ve been in.. I love the sliding glass doors!
Austin was our server and he was great! Attentive but also let us linger and enjoy our birthday meal. The Leroy cocktail was wonderful. My salmon was superb! Everyone loved everything.
Great food and Austin was a fantastic server. We enjoyed our dinner as well as the outdoor atmosphere. Leroy
House has gone to great lengths to make the outdoor areas beautiful (and warm!)
Perhaps expectations were too high, but I felt that it really lacked in ambiance -- tables weren't set, and it lacked any real decor in outside setup. From a food and drink perspective, I ordered the special gin drink that was highly reviewed only to find it tasted like seltzer water, so I sent it back and went for something more simple -- a glass of wine. Even then, the pours seemed inconsistent. My boyfriend's glass of wine was less volume than half the one glass of wine they split for us. The linguine and clams were the highlight -- very good and garlicky, and the brussel sprout salad was tasty, but nothing super special. The kale salad was just okay and the branzino was good, but breaded, which I didn't expect (but it might say so on the menu -- not certain). For the price - $180 for 2 ppl, it didn't seem like the best choice for the cost. Will not rush back.
Wonderful atmosphere in a COVID environment. Romantic with decent food and entertaining street scene.
Really cute spot on Hudson with limited foot traffic so snag one of their marble tables and enjoy the protected feeling next to the building but away from the street.
The outdoor enclosure had inadequate air circulation, so I didn't feel safe until the wait staff removed the plastic that prevented air from entering.
We've been to the Leroy house three times and have loved our experience each time! My favorite is the filet which they cook perfectly and the oysters are so fresh! The service is also excellent, attentive and friendly, but not pushy. Really a local gem!
We had a regular double date and sat in the Bungalow. The weather was miserable, this was Thursday night in the pouring rain, but it was very comfortable with n the Bungalow. Each table had a heater and we felt warm & safe. We had 2 steaks, 1 Leroy burger and the chicken. It was great!
The bolognese is my favorite in the city.
great outdoor seating with heaters and distanced tables. lovely service and food
Nicest dinner out in a very long while. Outdoor setup for seating is inspired.
My new Favorite Village restaurant
We had a spectacular ladies night at the Leroy House. We had calamari and shishito peppers-divine & great sharing appetizers. I followed with the miso glazed cod - light and delicious. I highly recommend. The atmosphere was beautiful & festive and we felt very safe! Cheers to the Leroy House - it’s just what the doctor ordered.
A neighborhood gem. Everything in the menu is delicious. Healthy portions and consistently a reliable choice. Fantastic staff to boot.
My husband and opted to dine indoors and loved the fact that it was quite and beautiful. It was a beautiful dining experience to share our 13th wedding anniversary.
Great option for outdoor dining that seems like it will be fabulous even on chilly nights. Food is delicious and so is the blood orange margarita!
The food was great and the waitstaff was excellent and accommodating. Will return!
Can't say enough good things about this place! They really know how to turn lemon into great lemonade! ⭐️
I ate outside for dinner. The service was definitely lacking and the food wasn’t exceptional. Happy I tried the restaurant but not looking to go back.
Absolute gem in the Village - will go back 100 more times!
This places uses charm, and they have done a great job with the outdoor seating.
Service is friendly and not pretentious. Food is exceptional! Highly recommend the bolognese, crab dip and peach cobbler. A great addition the the neighborhood!
Very poor service. Too much competition in the neighborhood to warrant going back.
Casual dinner, wasn’t really blown away, slightly overpriced
Balanced menu, not too big not too small either, branzino was on the overcooked side and calamari appetizer was all about the dip, otherwise food, service, ambiance are fine and reasonably priced for New York standards. Excellent location.
Lovely outdoor setting with excellent service and delicious food. We were both thrilled with the restaurant
My wife and I enjoyed every dish we ordered (i.e., warm potato chips, deviled eggs, burrata salad, Berkshire pork chop). The signature cocktails were also fantastic. I had 2 rounds of "The Leroy" and my wife had the blood orange margarita. Service was superb. First weekend of indoor dining made for an intimate setting although outdoor dining was available as well. I just hope New York's city and state government are subsidizing the extra expenses restaurants now have to face to keep the outdoor and minimal indoor dining going because as intimate and nice the reduced indoor dining was as a patron, great places like this aren't going to survive with 10% capacity.
We had an indoor reservation for 6 for a birthday brunch. There was plenty of space between us and other indoor guests. The staff wore masks and were very accommodating. The food was good and the atmosphere was nice. Had a great time!
Cold food, warm bottles of wine, no ice buckets, slow service, and rushed out before evening finishing the bottle we paid for. Overall, really disappointing experience.
Great food. Wonderful staff.
Amazing service and even better food! Would come back just for the oasta
Excellent food in a pleasant outdoor setting. Perfect spot for an anniversary dinner.
What a gem! After a dozen dinners here, they still surprise me with great food and fabulous service.
Service was great but my entree was not appetizing :(. For the price I would have expected better quality food
We went here for our anniversary, but it works for a casual meal too. Great outdoor dining in the Village.
Overpriced. Food sub-par
The team here does a fantastic job of making the sidewalk full service. The food quality is equal to pre-covid and the service is even better. Continue to support this wonderful spot in our neighborhood!
The quality of food really blew my expectations. Taste and portion size were generous and the service our table received was excellent.
