Visited today for brunch. Iconic building and location. Beautiful murals inside. Service was top notch and polite. We lingered for quite a while with no pressure to move along. A very nice experience overall! I’ll be returning!
My friend and I received excellent customer service, ate lunch in the first shed—an exquisite setting for outdoor dining; and enjoyed delicious food. Thank you.
Amazing service and food
Celebrated our anniversary and were thoroughly impressed! Looking forward to going back.
Cafe Des Artistes used to be one of regular places to dine. It’s been many years and my return visit couldn’t have been any better!
Food and the service was outstanding!
I will be coming back many times!
The Leopard was a fabulous experience. Our group of 3 was greeted warmly - although this is a “fancy” restaurant, each staff member and our waiter in particular were extremely friendly, helpful, gracious and accommodating. The food and drinks were delicious. And the murals adorning the walls (painted by a friend’s family member) have been lovingly restored and are beautiful. Highly recommend.
Had a pre baller dinner here and it was spectacular
Food was absolutely amazing and the service was top quality
If you are looking for a great restaurant for pre or post Lincoln center shows this is the best option
Pricy but well worth every penny’ You will not be disappointed!
A beautiful space graced by the murals from the 1930’s and the original Cafe des Artistes - I dined at the original several times and this is a wonderful successor. The sparkling rose was a lovely start along with octopus and several other delicious appetizers. The Dover sole with spinach was perfectly boned at the table and delicious. The pork loin was a large portion and equally good. The polenta with truffles was yummy. And the olive oil cake with blood orange was great. We loved every thing and plan to return soon.
We had a wonderful experience. The service was impeccable and the food delicious.
Special in every way!
Excellent food and correct service. Outdoor table was a good option to enjoy Thanksgiving day
Service of Dover sole was especially skillful and a joy to observe
Truly great restaurant. Octopus could have been better. Service was great. Wish they had a more varied wine selection in the Rose category.
We always make a reservation when we are in town. This time our visit was a post opera meal at a very late hour - the food, as always was exceptional, the staff professional, in the non-rushed, welcoming elegance that we have come to love.
Beautiful dining experience throughout the entire night.
Celebrating a birthday with family. Everyone loved their meal! Service was excellent. We love this restaurant and come here often since we live in neighborhood.
Great Outdoor option for dining even in the winter.
We went to celebrate my husbands 60th birthday after a show. I wanted someplace very special and it did not disappoint!!! There were six of us and the service was fantastic. I would highly recommend.
Excellent service. Dined outdoors. Pasta and bronzino crudo excellent.
Nicola is great!
It was a wonderful bday celebration.
Beautiful ambience less than distinguished italan food efficiently served. My pasta sauce spaghetti with duck a special had an odd flavor .My wifes' lasagna also was mediocre in flavor .We had no opportunity for feedback and frankly the tastes were really just mediocre and theree;fore dissapointing.
First time back since the fire/renovation/new owners. It was great. The staff was extremely nice and the atmosphere was just what we expected, great as well
All four of us had the Dover Sole (special that night), and it was delicious. The Brussels Sprouts with the fish were nicely cooked, but we didn't think they were the best accompaniment. A side order of spinach was very good. As appetizers, the spaghetti carbonara was as good as we've ever had (and better than I can make). Zabaglione and berries was made table side, delicious, and very generous.
I am obsessed with struncatura: Multigrain spaghettoni, shrimp, neonata, lemon
It was louder than I expected, but we enjoyed. Was celebrating my spouse’s promotion. Food was delicious!
Just a great place for a special dinner, or a pre-theater meal. The service is knowledgeable, fast, and friendly. The kitchen excellent, and the wine list quite good! Highly recommend!!
Spectacular place, the food is delicious there.. Highly recommend it!
A very enjoyable evening!!
It was my pick for my birthday dinner, still nervous that my husband wouldn’t like it……
But he was more than pleased!
My girlfriend bday experience.
Relaxing delicious brunch
Everything was delicious. The gnocchi was the lightest, most delicious gnocchi I have ever had. The menu changes frequently. Two months ago we had a completely different menu. Service is excellent. Outdoor space is lovely. Pricey but worth it.
Food was delicious...except that my pork medalion was tough not tender.
We had a great dinner with wonderful service. One of our favorites in the neighborhood.
We love it there and dine there often. :)
Loud, good service, very mediocre food.
The service is extraordinary and the ambiance (inside or out) is wonderful. A charming, relaxing and beautiful NYC refuge. Staff could not be better: attentive, responsive and willing to do whatever it takes for a memorable meal. We had brunch, food was decent but nothing exceptional. Still a great overall brunch experience.
I didn’t think it was good value for the money. My meal was just OK
We've e a ten here several times and have never been disappointed. On the whole the staff is very accomdative of our needs. The venison was excellent.
Rude assistant maitre d. Ok food, Good service.
Il Gattipardo is much better.
