Absolutely fantastic, as always! Love our Sunday suppers (and every other meal) at the restaurant!
Not sure whether the scallops or the fish in acqua pazza was better, but both were delicious. And so is the bread.
Food was uniformly poor: salad too many rotted leaves; fish overcooked; meatballs dry and heavy; rigatoni too al denté. Service outstanding, attentive to food allergies, very careful wine decanting.
So the way NYC should be
Elegant
Service 5 star
Food delicious
Covid friendly
Excellent as always. We shared the delicious veal chop
Really best place around, glad to see they survive and prosper
We have been away for a year. Upon returning to The Leopard we found it even better than ever. Service is fantastic, - food selections new and amazing, and of course the beauty of the restaurant is timeless.
Super expensive but worth it. Beautiful outdoor seating area, impeccable service, excellent expertly prepared food.
Beautiful evening sitting outside eating delicious food. What more could you ask for?
As always a wonderful dining experience, delicious food with first rate service and ambiance.
Love The Leopard.
Food was tasty and well prepared. I loved the lamb chops and seafood stew. Our server was attentive and very friendly. I would have give this restaurant 4 or 5 stars but I found the front desk managers to be bit arrogant and not friendly at all. It’s a Covid dining, all of us should be friendlier.
Best steak we ever had
Everything about dining here is 5-star! The staff are amazing and attentive to your entire dining experience. All of the the food choices are expertly created and taste phenomenal. We cannot recommend this restaurant enough! Cannot wait to come back soon.
Thank you for the wonderful service
Extraordinary service with delectable gourmet food served in a quiet, beautiful space. It is pricey but well worth it.
The place is beautiful and you are always treated as a valued guest. The food is fairly traditional Italian fare but often with some rare treats.
Pricing outrageous...but ambience great. Can't wait for bar to re-open.
The most spectacular and consistent service, a fabulous night out from start to finish!
It was wonderful, delicious
Went for Sunday Brunch which was both traditional with a small twist as well as innovative. For the traditional, Eggs Benedict but with prosciutto not Canadian bacon. Ricotta, not buttermilk pancakes, with a hint of citrus. For the innovative, Sformata (a flan-like parmigiano sculpture with truffles) over grilled asparagus—and you can taste the grill. Everything excellent, including the Bellini.
Always a wonderful experience to dine at Leopard des Artiste. And Jordan (chef/partner) is always very welcoming and the ambiance is hard to duplicate.
The outdoor space is outstandingly comfortable; well-spaced tables, overhead heaters, floors rather than cold pavement. Service is outstanding. Almost as cozy as being indoors, which is part of the problem: the outdoor space allows dogs of all sizes. If you enjoy dogs in restaurants, drooling around your feet, whining or sometimes barking, this is your spot.
Happy, they are survive and prosper this place out of tourists area. Everything is excellent.
Really
Great ambiance and good service, but food was mediocre - undercooked pasta on one entre and rubbery, pre-frozen scallops on second entre.
We had similar experience last summer with sister restaurant, Il Gattorpardo on 54th street. Both restaurants used to have superb food, but have gone down hill recently.
Dining outside on relatively quiet side street with great food, excellent service and good wine - what could be better?
WE eat outdoors on a warmish afternoon. Very nice time. Service and food were great.
The management and wait staff was amazing as was the food.
Absolutely fantastic in every way.....as always!
Excellent food and friendly service as ever. We’re so pleased to be able to return.
What a fabulous restaurant. Both indoor and outdoor spaces are beautiful. Food always innovative and well prepared. The staff are so welcoming and friendly. I would recommend this restaurant to anyone.
Service is so great, and the setup is properly COVID safe on the outdoor seating. Definitely recommend
A beautiful and romantic place with very good food. The prices are high. Appetizers and Main courses were delicious, but dessert was a disappointment, as the cannoli were very bland.
Food fabulous. Everyone there so efficient and friendly. Both indoor and outdoor dining has beautiful ambience. Recommend it highly.
Had my best meal of the last few months year. Delicious, comfortable, lovely.
The service was really outstanding....as was the food!
From the service to the food everything was perfect!!
I would not return
Food was salty and bartender did not know how to make a martini correct.
This is a lovely choice for brunch. Close to Central Park and the ambience is very attractive. Excellent authentic Italian food and very attentive and pleasant staff. Good value also. I will certainly return
While I haven’t been a fan of this restaurant’s indoor ambiance, they’ve done a fantastic job with their outdoor set up and taken advantage of the beautiful building and the lovely street they’re located at, on a block lined with tree lights. Their shed is heated and has sliding doors to allow for air flow. Tables are well distanced from one another. There is also dining on the sidewalk, outside the shed, where they have heat lamps. The service is outstanding with the waiting staff running around non-stop to cater to their guests’ requests and always with a smile on their face - well, at least from what we can tell with the masks :) The food is good in general, but some items can be hit or miss. A truffle pasta dish was done to perfection while another pasta dish was mediocre at best. The crudo is sometimes great and sometimes too bland. Scallops, based on the seasonal preparation, can be incredible or just ok. You get the point. Their manzo (for 2 but can feed 4) is consistently well made and is delicious. I think the one area they need significant improvement on is their wine list. It seems to be a list thrown together by either a merchant trying to get rid of his not so good wines, or by someone who is not a wine expert. First off, it is a list of Italian wines. Italy has great wines, but somehow the ones on the list are mostly mediocre producers, or good producers from bad vintages. It takes a good wine expert to construct a list that offers wines with great pedigree, made by good winemakers, from good vintages - and Italy has a lot of those. So, why those wines have not found their way to this list is a mystery. The only positive thing I can say about the list is, it offers a good price range starting from $60 bottles and if you’re a wine aficionado, you will find 2-3 gems under $200. In summary, go for the safe & lovely outdoor seating, enjoy the good food, and study the wine list ahead of time to order a decent bottle.
Outstanding as always. Best indoor dining experience in NYC.
