The place filled up quickly after opening the doors at 5:30 PM on a Saturday evening. Good atmosphere and the service was very good. The cocktails were good, but why do I keep getting Manhattan's that look like Old Fashioned's? Isn't sweet vermouth red? T-ravs were some of the better I have had which is saying a lot in this town. Salad was a little over-dressed with the Mayfair dressing. Entrees were good, but unexceptional. While my Manhattan steak as very good and the right temp, my wife's special blackened prime rib was not worth finishing or taking home. With so many great restaurants in St. Louis, not sure we will be back anytime soon.

Love Lemp Mansion. Never disappointed. We eat there at least 4 times a year. Easter, our Wedding Anniversary as we were married there, Thanksgiving and New Year's Eve. Food is excellent.

Food was good. Smaller portions than last year. Cost went way up. Limited to 1 piece of pie. Over 50 dollars per person Not really surprised but would probably not do Thanksgiving here again

Lemp Mansion was a lovely place to spend Thanksgiving for the three of us--my husband, my adult son, and myself. The food was all good and plentiful. It was family style, which suited us perfectly, and we were able to have as much as we liked. The service was, by far, some of the most attentive without being overbearing that I have experienced. They took care of us, but also allowed us to sit and visit (the restaurant was not full at that time) after we finished. All in all, a wonderful experience for the holiday.

Wonderful Thanksgiving meal with all the fixings! The mansion is decorated so beautifully. The servers are very nice, polite & efficient. This is an annual tradition for my family.

The food was fair at best. They add a service charge+ 20% tip. + tax on tip surcharge. Save your money and pick a different venue unless you hope to see a ghost.

I was extremely disappointed with this dinner. This was supposed to be a birthday dinner for my husband but after we were seated the service basically ended. I had to flag someone down to find a waiter because we waited around for 10 or 15 minutes. We weren't given any introduction to the mansion since it was our first time there, we weren't given any kind of menus, drink, dessert, wine menu nothing. I specifically put in my reservation that we were celebrating a birthday but no one mentioned or asked anything. I'm not even sure who our waiter actually was. The food however was good. But overall this experience was not a great one.

The Lemp Mansion is an experience; especially if you visit on Sunday for the Chicken Dinner. For a fixed price you get a parade of dishes and flavors distinctive from the American Cuisine; From the biscuits and gravy to the roast beef and hams, going through amazing salads, stews, mashed potatoes and Mac and cheese; fresh products that taste like "tradition"; The chicken, the main actor of the meal, is carefully prepared to make every palate happy. in addition to a wonderful meal; you enjoy a great atmosphere in this historic Mansion and a wonderful service. I definitely look forward to returning to St. Louis to revive this experience.

We love the Lemp! Food was wonderful. I had the chicken special. My husband had the filet mignon. Betsy was especially helpful in the museum/gift shop. We got to hear her tell a great ghost story! We will return!❤️

I was here in July and the food was awesome. Took my son this time and food seemed awful salty. There must be a different cook. I'm going back eventually. I hope the food is better. The service was awesome though!

I was disappointed in dinner overall. I am not a harsh critic normally, but it was not the experience I was hoping for. We were there for the paranormal tour initially and I thought it would be nice to have dinner beforehand. We were seated and the initial wait staff was pleasant. We ended up with a grumpy gentleman as our server and I believe his name was Matt. This is where the disappointment started. We usually like to interact with our servers normally and like to ask for suggestions about food and wine/ drink selections so we are not disappointed. Well, we asked about some different dish selections and wine selections and we were met with curt and borderline rude comments. We ended up getting the baked cod and the ONLY choice you had was mashed potatoes and green beans. It was a weird combination with the baked cod. The mashed potatoes were good, but the green beans and cod were average. The reason we had asked our server originally for some guidance was for this reason and we were trying to avoid this. We also noticed that the dinner selections were a bit disjointed. It is kind of a strange menu. So, in a nut shell.. The paranormal tour was great, but after paying close to $150 for dinner for 3 people that did include a bottle of wine and tip, I would skip the dinner, but definitely go one the tour.

I want to be fair about this. We had 1130 reservations, right for the time they opened. We were greeted promptly and seated. As always, being a table of only two people, we got the worst place in the house. A couple of large tables (6 - 8 people) were seated. We were hungry and watched as they were served food. I asked the server what was up and he said our food was on the way, that the kitchen was backed up. Then we watched as they got refills. I asked the server again, saying that they were getting refills while all we had was water. Oh yeah, we had water because they were out of orange juice as soon as they opened. At least someone was going to the store to buy more. Finally at five minutes to noon, our food came. I must say that, served family style, it covered the table. The fried chicken was very good. The canned roast beef and ham were...canned roast beef and ham. The mashed potatoes and gravy and corn were good. The German green beans were...green beans. I like the apple sauce, my wife didn't. I couldn't eat the mac and cheese, but it looked good. Neither of us cared for the Cole slaw. It was Cole and it was slaw, but it was lacking flavor. If there was something else served I cannot remember what it was. Oh, My wife had rolls, I can't eat them. She didn't complain, but she never does when bread is involved. The room was loud, but hey, it was family style so no complaints there. If you want a romantic dinner for two, this is not your place. We certainly ate our fill, as we both skipped supper that night. They even let us bring home the left over two pieces of chicken. The service was cheerful and friendly, I could not ask for anything more. Would I recommend this to someone else? Yes, but with reservations and an explanation of the short comings and limiting expectations. Us? We've done it and won't do it again. I wish they had used the venue better. You're eating in a haunted stinking house! Someone going room to room telling stories would be great.

I had the special: Prime Rib with mashed potatoes and green beans. The prime rib was so cooked perfectly, it cut like butter. The staff was very friendly and engaging. Could have used to ghosts, though. Lol

We have spent my son’s last three birthdays at the Lemp Mansion , but this last experience was horrible . After waiting 45 min for a 6 pm reservation we made weeks prior , our table was given away by accident to a party that walked in just minutes before . The service was not good , and the food was not very warm .
