Stephen, our General Manager and Emma, our Head Chef welcome you to this contemporary village meeting place to eat, drink and socialise, both for special occasions and for simple everyday affairs.

    Fabulous food, service and ambience, Legstraps never lets me down (I've eaten there several times). Would thoroughly recommend. Nothing is too much trouble for the staff, and you are well looked after throughout the entire meal.

    Very good overall, good balance of staff attentiveness and Chef/s need a medal! Good creative dishes and endurance of the heat in the kitchen: hottest day of the year!

    Lovely food, good service and a relaxing atmosphere. Doesn't offer a children's menu but gave smaller portions to the children of more 'grown up' food which made a lovely change and the children thoroughly enjoyed it.

    Excellent food and service as usual. Lamb rump was delecious we were in a party of 7 and all loved our choices.

    Good food, interesting menu, we could have all chosen a few things. Service not so great. We were told we needed to order quickly - why accept bookings so late if we are going to be rushed? Wine was poorly poured, ladies served last. Heard good things but a bit disappointed if truth be told.

    The food was fantastic and have been to the legstraps a few times over the last 3 years and food and service has always been good but on this occasion was not impressed with the service. I felt we were left too long between orders and waiting staff were always seen to be leaning up at the bar all the time while only one member of staff was working. Food was fantastic as always though and would recommend to anyone

    We hadn't been here before, very good service lovely meal, pleasant atmosphere with background music which wasn't too loud. We had a lovely evening and will go there again.

    Always fab food and first class service. Great atmosphere and always made to feel at home. Perfect for a Sunday lunch or a romantic meal.
